Hello, I own a Kia Cerato 1.6 crdi 136 HP vehicle. My car is at 86,000 km. Diesel is mixed with the engine oil, the oil level is constantly rising. There is no problem in the operation of my vehicle, the idle is normal, there is no noticeable black or white smoke from the exhaust. It works immediately with a single start in the morning, there is no problem. The technician said it could be the DPF and he removed the DPF and cleaned it in the machine. The DPF was around 40% full, but it was still cleaned. But that was not the solution either.
Did you also change the cranckshaft sprocket? How can I lose and tighten this nut with a lot of nm without changing the timing of the engine? Behind the crankshaft sprocket, is there an oil seal that needs replacing? King regards
Great documentation. How do you find the torque settings for tightening bolts? I had aftermarket kit installed on 2.5L d4cb on Hyundai Imax van and notice the tensioners getting loose again. Time to learn to replace myself!
Also, is it possible to do this job? when the engine is in my car? Only chain c is possible without removing Intercooler/radiator, oil pan, subframe in my opinion. What's your opinion?

happen to my van last week while driving i see the oil pressure indicator lights up then you can hear clunking noise, i immediately turn off the engine, at that time there is a mechanic shop near and brought it there. they diagnose that i need an engine overhaul, ouch! i brought my van home with a towing truck and figuring what to do, because engine overhaul is so expensive.
