@@SargonofQueensI literally am able to walk around in the middle of the night here in NYC, I could never actually do that in my country (Jamaica). That’s why we have grills on every single house there, every window and door, the crime is that bad there…
i'm going down to midtown manhattan for a cruise the next day. i need a nice summer dress for dinner in a nice restaurant. i had no idea all of this was right there. my hotel is right near macy's. but i'd like to check out the rockefeller mall, by subway. i'm old as shite so i need to walk as little as possible. thank you for this info. do hotels have pamphlets of local things? i'm staying at the herald. this is great info. i'm glad i stumbled on it. i hope there is a subway right near my hotel.
How can you include the Queens Place Mall but not include the Queens Center Mall, which is by far the superior mall and only a 5 minute walk away? Then, about a 15 minute walk from that you have the Rego Park Shopping Center. All three malls have subway stops for them. Grand Ave-Newtown for Queens Place, Woodhaven-Slattery Plaza for Queens Center and 63rd Drive-Rego Park for Rego Park Shopping Center. Over in Brooklyn across the street from the Barclays Center where the Brooklyn Nets play you have the Atlantic Terminal Mall, which is easily accessible from the LIRR station inside. There are a handful of other malls in NYC that I didn’t even mention. The Bronx has some malls, Brooklyn has others, States Island has one, and there’s some really nice ones in Long Island. As a New Yorker it always annoys me when visitors don’t realize that there’s more to NYC than just Manhattan. Sure, Manhattan is pretty to look at but everything there is overpriced and a lot of it is tourist traps. You want the full NYC experience and you want to see what it’s really like here? Visit the other boroughs.
Could you please suggest best outlets for brands like Nike, puma, gap, coach, mk and like that ? I guess outlets have better deals or should we visit mecys? Also deals for iphone
@@P9351 For Nike I always go to Nike NYC at 650 5th Avenue in Manhattan. That place is gigantic with multiple floors. I go there because the only Nike store in Queens is a clearance store in Flushing and they may not have everything. The clearance store does sell things at a discount though. It's in The Shops At SkyView mall at 40-24 College Point Blvd. For Puma I would go to their flagship store at 609 5th Avenue in Manhattan. Again, certain things I would much rather go to their flagship store because there's a higher chance of finding what I want. I don't usually go to stores like Foot Locker or JD Sports where they have an assortment because they'll often not have what I want. Better to get it from the source. I don't shop at Gap but if I did I'd go to the one on Manhattan. 1514 Broadway. I think it's the biggest one in NYC. The other brands you mentioned I have never shopped for so I wouldn't know where to find them unless I looked them. Stores like Macy's are fine for most people but Macy's tends to have high prices and a small selection. You might get lucky and find something there that you can't find somewhere else but for the most part I go to either a flagship store or the biggest store of that brand I can find. Most of these flagship stores would be in Manhattan since that's where all the tourists go to and these companies want them to shop. Makes sense. As far as Apple goes, I used Apple products for 15 years. Their stuff almost never goes on sale and when they do it's a pitiful excuse of a sale. Just one reason among many why I switched to Samsung last year. However, places like Best Buy occasionally and very rarely had deals with Apple products that were worth it. You could check out any Best Buy really as most of them are fairly large with a good selection. The Queens Place Mall mentioned in the video has a big Best Buy inside but there are a bunch in all five boroughs. Hope this helps.
I dont know why anytime I search up about mall in United States on the internet I always come across with news about murder and mass shoot instead. It's terrifying
The video shows a shopping mall in Tokyo, Japan (Ginza Six) as well as a shopping street in Japan. I wonder how this footage got here??? It clearly doesn't belong in this video. Otherwise, useful info.
