We are setting out to expose a multi-million pound consumer industry with no current legislation in place, consumers are being misled and mis-sold at their great cost, both monetarily, and mentally. Buyers need help and protection.
Clear, concise and transparent information is NOT always given at point of sale. There is no legal governing body or specific laws in place for those abusing the industry to answer to, or indeed to help the buyer.
The existing consumer protection laws do NOT cover the Holiday Static Caravan/Lodge Industry in any way that is needed to protect them.

To true, not only that but the sales people will change yearly also the park manager change frequently so any complaints or promises they don’t know anything about, just beware they will turf you off for no solid reason, we got evicted for not paying deposit in time which was a month earlier than normal and didn’t send use the invoice, along with another dozen victims, Thank you to Hill Brothers for forcing us off site for no reason, ( sold our caravan and want £8000 for disconnecting and tidy site and fees for 2020) didn’t even anchor our caravan down and pitch was never tidied when we got it!
Made me laugh out loud at start ' don't do it' even considering such a purchase!!
Having a static caravan holiday home Is a money pit from start to finish and a lot of owners are going to find out just how bad things can get when they can’t afford to pay the extortionate site fees and the HP payment’s as well.

I am retiring soon and was actually thinking about doing just such a thing. Thank you for the great insight. I am seriously going to cancel all my viewing appointments. Save myself all the pain, tears and expense. The hidden costs are a total rip off and there's nothing you can do about it. 👍🏻

I’m sure not ALL parks are as bad as you make out! I read stories of people who are blissfully happy with their park.
Just don't, it's financial suicide!
