I picked this up from a GameStop for $15 last summer. It's a perfect demonstration of how the COD community doesn't deserve anything it asks for because this game isn't bad... it's genuinely too good for the brainlets it was made for. They both don't want a copy and paste COD but also don't want COD to try anything different. It's insane. The campaign is one of the absolute best. It really gives the feel of fighting a war in the future, instead of another series about "elite special forces". I loved being able to pick my missions freely. Multiplayer feels good. I love that there's people that never left and people just jumping in. It's one of the more active old COD games on Xbox. I picked up BO3 on sale recently, and it's fun and all, but I found myself migrating back to IW. It's visually stronger. The gunplay feels better. The combat rig system strikes the perfect balance of "hero abilities" while still feeling like another soldier in the ongoing war. Immersion over one-liners. Side note: the warfighter gun's bullets bounce. So you can ricochet them into corners and potentially clap cheeks of players holding angles.
I think Activision has to realise they really don't have to listen to the CoD community at all. They could release everything they wanted and they'd still complain, or you release the antithesis of what the community wants and they'll still make bank.
@@Krixzenz They technically could, they would still make a profit, but Infinite Warfare sold half as many copies as Black Ops 3, so if they want to make even more profit, they will make what the fans ask for.
@@BaxzXDI really liked the vibrant, oversaturated colors of BO3, and some of the maps made better use of the movement, but I thought the specialist system sucked and the gunplay wasn't as satisfying. In general, I think I just prefer the idea of "Space COD" more than "Near Future COD". To each his own though.

If you think about it, IW was a "better" version of BO3, a more "balanced" one maybe, but if you ask me BO3's atmosphere was something else, I remember the excitement I had returing from school to play cod... I've been waiting for this! I loved this game so much, me and my brother had a blast with the multiplayer and the zombies mode. The campaign was almost on the same level as Black Ops 2 and that's saying a lot. I feel that the hate was not deserved at all, everyone was sick of the futuristic setting at the time and I cannot imagine the feeling the devs had when the trailer became one of the most disliked videos on youtube, they put a lot of work into Infinite Warfare. Sad to see we'll never see this kind of creativity from Infinity Ward and Treyarch ever again.
Most underrated call of duty. The campaign was so great. Even the mission where you do Star Wars-like Dogfights in the space were enjoyable. The multiplayer felt great. Great Time to Kill. Great Feeling of the weapons. Countless hours of grind for different variants of weapons. Clean HUD (Best minimap we have ever got in my opinion). The health bar on enemies. The hit counter in the killcams. Even the old gen console (PS4 and Xbox One) load and boot the game so quickly in comparison to BO3. I remember times when it took almost a Minute where I stared at the loading screen in BO3 where you can see, who picked whom operator. And in fact the old consoles work with HDDs infinite warfare loaded very fast tho. A lot of people trash talked the zombie mode in IW but I think Zombies in space land ist one of the beste zombie maps ever made and it’s not even from treyarch. Now everyone is crying for a round-based zombie experience with funny Easter eggs. I know they are not Treyarch but they did Zombies in Spaceland with lots of love. Today they need to hire treyarch to do Zombies (Vanguard, MW III) and it still sucks. INFINITE WARFARE was really underrated and came out in a wrong time with wrong conditions (You had to buy the legacy edition it for COD 4). All in all it was a great CoD but there are still those sweats who pick the synaptic operator and the LMG called Titan (Sunburst Variant) and never touch the ground. They suck tho and grief every multiplayer map. Infinity ward should have nerfed that Meta before leaving this masterpiece of game. Thank you Terrible Panda for your Vids. I'm gonna say it. IW mp is in my top 3 cod mps. Probably the perfect ttk, almost every weapon was viable with very few oppressive strategies. The only things that had to go were the robots with infinite wall run and jetpack with rewind. Fix those and I'd still happily play this today.

I loved this game, even as a sniper. I remember watching Spratt going crazy, jump shotting everyone & it inspired me enough to give it a try. & it was an easy adjustment after BO3 movement was so much fun. It was slept on forsure
The M1 is an amazing spawn area weapon. In fact, it’s one of the best wall weapons in cod zombies history. When you packapunch it, it has perfect hip fire accuracy

I used to play IW religiously, mainly because I love the worldbuilding and weaponry. Having guns that can split into an entirely different weapon made for such fun fights. I will admit, I hated it when it came out, I was one of the many who bought BF1 instead, but I picked it up from Gamestop after updates were stopped and I had an absolute blast. Campaign was so fucking fun too
The Zombie mode is awesome an the best from another devloper. The campaign is also great. Only the mp is just mediocre, but still much better than mp in the other sci fi cods and most cods after it too. The game really got such reactions mainly because most people didn't feel like playing another sci-fi game in such a short time and therefore didn't give it a chance. If more attention had been paid to variety in the scenario, things would have gone differently.
If I could give any advice that will help you outperform 90% of the playerbase. Learn the ad anced movement. Learn to jump over cover and shoot, wall run slowly, shoot while wall running, etc. Understanding the G-slide and advanced movement will carry you soooo far. Other that it's just aim, learning what each weapon does, an map layout.
Post bo2 had a very large rough patch (mostly caused by community and not cod imo) and bo3 being known as the perfected future game IW had such a hard time regardless I think it’s fun I definitely think it’s one of my more favoured Cod

If your on the ground AIMING BUT MOVING SIDE TO SIDE like the older Cods Still Worked like a charm. Due to the Fast TTK. Add some Low blow slides & Mid Slide Canceling & your GOLD 👍🏾

i genuinely loved this game day one. played a bunch of it and had a blast, i honestly loved the jetpack CoDs (not AW tho) though BO3 is still better imo. it just released at a terrible time, i'm glad people are starting to see that it wasn't nearly as bad as most people said it was at the time.

cool game but why it looks like there is a colorblind filter on? I am colorblind but I'm so used to watch "normal" gameplay that these colors made it feel weird lol
Never played IW but honestly looks way better than black ops 6. I am hoping Microsoft does a staggered release of the old COD games starting with cod 4 once per year. It would incentivize people to buy gamepass and play, while also giving the community the chance to re-live these games in a "yearly release" cycle like back in the day. It would be insane if they also did double XP weekends too and things like that. That or drop Cod 1 to Ghosts (inclusive) in a Master Cheif collection like bundle and let people play them all again with fixed anti cheat. Make a console bundle with that game included with the series S to make it accessible, boom. Xbox and COD brand revitalized.
Definitely a right game, wrong time circumstance. This is what shouldve came out instead of Advanced Warefare imo. The sound, visual design and overall atmosphere was just incredible. A favorite of mine next to WAW for sure

Had advanced warfare, and bo3 before this one. but the mp really wasn't that bad, just some of the maps felt like you were running around for an eternity. and the campaign was actually the best part about this game besides zombies in spaceland. The campaign was actually super well written and very much emotional towards the end. they definitely fixed a lot of the issues from ghost's campaign, where you really felt detached from the characters. but overall a decent game. oh they also added op variants of weapons back into the game later on in the lifecycle if i remember correctly.
Bro I found a really cool detail on waw mission burn em out, in the first bunker there is a box of ammo that will kill you as it burns if you're too close, I kept respawning right next to it just now 😂
IW really great but a double edged sword. no concessions in the main game to cater for warzone but instead you got loot boxes that could give you straight up P2W guns like i remember an SMG that just didn't leave death markers so with the right perks nobody saw you coming and people using it would always shit over the other team
@@MR754.6.4 Same, when I played the Beta, it just felt like what I thought at the time which was a worse Black Ops III, but I think it’s pretty good now. I’d still play BO3 over this, but it’s very much playable in 2024.
Infinite Warfare... really was not as bad as everyone made/ makes it seem. IMO, the multiplayer felt somewhat like a step backwards. Mostly because Black Ops 3 was its only other competition when it comes to the futuristic style of play, and it did it much better for the most part. On the other hand, I remember being blown away at how awesome the campaign turned out to be. Zombies is also a lot of fun and added some interesting features that I've not seen before, and you could tell the put a lot of work into it. It didn't really deserve all the hate, especially since at the time people were demanding change to the game and when they got it, they don't like it. Like make up y'all's damn mind they gave you something different and then you complain lmao
is still playable on pc? i've buyed it in 2018 but my pc at that time didn't have the minimum spec requirements so 2 years later i've buyed a gaming pc but the game was dead, i tried to play 7 months and the situation on pc was the same, on console i find lobbies but it stills laggy with lan cable or wifi with a packet loss, idk how to solve it

I was never on the IW Hate train for two reasons the campaign and the zombies. as much as they changed zombies the maps and EEs were so dope.

IW really great but a double edged sword. no concessions in the main game to cater for warzone but instead you got loot boxes that could give you straight up P2W guns like i remember an SMG that just didn't leave death markers so with the right perks nobody saw you coming and people using it would always shit over the other team

My least played COD. Hated the maps, weapons, and TTK. Loved BLOPS 3 and just didn't have any reason to play IW alot.
@@MR754.6.4 Same, when I played the Beta, it just felt like what I thought at the time which was a worse Black Ops III, but I think it’s pretty good now. I’d still play BO3 over this, but it’s very much playable in 2024.

I just got IW today on Xbox. Are there lobbies in Australia?
Infinite Warfare... really was not as bad as everyone made/ makes it seem. IMO, the multiplayer felt somewhat like a step backwards. Mostly because Black Ops 3 was its only other competition when it comes to the futuristic style of play, and it did it much better for the most part. On the other hand, I remember being blown away at how awesome the campaign turned out to be. Zombies is also a lot of fun and added some interesting features that I've not seen before, and you could tell the put a lot of work into it. It didn't really deserve all the hate, especially since at the time people were demanding change to the game and when they got it, they don't like it. Like make up y'all's damn mind they gave you something different and then you complain lmao
You should turn off colorblind assist, it makes everything a ugly Purple/Pink hue, its horrible lol

is still playable on pc? i've buyed it in 2018 but my pc at that time didn't have the minimum spec requirements so 2 years later i've buyed a gaming pc but the game was dead, i tried to play 7 months and the situation on pc was the same, on console i find lobbies but it stills laggy with lan cable or wifi with a packet loss, idk how to solve it
