The thing that died at about 13:15 was actually the lothric dragon, it's very wierd but ill try to explain it.
You see, elevators in this game don't move, the world does. If you go up an elevator, the world moves down to make it appear you are moving up, and vice versa. When you went up the elevator, the dragon was at the edge of the range that it still exists, so the dragon moved down with the world down past the range that it stays spawned. When something despawns due to downward movement, the game treats this as fall damage, and kills it. This is why you got the souls and items for it. It happens every so often on my runs of the game as well, specifically on that elevator right next to the lothric boss room.

If that's the case, how come not everything/everyone takes falling damage when someone goes up an elevator? And how come you also don't notice anything in multiplayer?
@@Eresor It probably did sometime during development and have debugged it, but obviously not with the lothric dragons because it still happens. I even looked at these dragons with an unlocked camera, they do die, not all the time but sometimes, while going up the elevator.

Small detail if you for some reason want to try it yourself. Do not kill Siegward, his shield will be purchasable from patches later on and you still can do his questline in which he will help with Yhorm. If you are asking, no you need to give only armor to Siegward, you can still keep the shield

Not sure if anyone said it but a tip for the giant worm in smoldering lake: emote behind the small hill near the demon king fog gate and the giant crossbow will kill it for you

Beat the game doing this run last year and it’s actually really fun. Yhorms great shield is what I ended up with and it does some decent damage.
This dude is the ultimate bossfight of DS 3. He comes at you not using bonfires.
He comes at you using shield only.
He comes at you using fists only.
He comes at you using bows only
He comes at you only rolling.
And he wins everytime…
Why not use the door shield? The damage output on those are great
Hey Taylor I believe that for this run you could hace used shields like he rotten shield the swamp enemies used or the spike shield from the invador of the cathedral for bleed or poison damage.

Very late, but if you run past the giant electric worm to the left you can hide behind a rock. This will make the three piece ballistae kill the worm. It'll only take a minute and is a lot less tedious
