Absolutely love the content! Especially with smaller independent brands, meeting (or hearing from) the watchmaker is a big part of the purchasing decision. Knowing their history, innovation and dedication help inspire confidence when you are making a 5 digit purchase for a timepiece that only an obsessive watch nerd would recognize.
It’s a pass from me. Well shot and edited but to be honest I did not connect with them or the brand. Maybe pt 2 with watches featured will be more interesting for me.
Oh MAN! I have such a thing for Armin Strom. And I loved every second of this video! Just absolutely gorgeous videography to capture such amazing watches. 💕 these are my favourite kinds of videos.
I luv the brand and their philosophy... unfortunately way out of my budget :( , well maybe some day! :) But in general beautiful "jewels" they are making!! Keep on! :)
Really enjoyed this view of the passion these men have for their art and skill. I love their desire to remain faithful to the heart of what it means to be a watchmaker, whilst pushing their skill into the future. Thank you. More please.
Loved the intimacy of their narratives, the honesty and uninterrupted narratives were powerful. It was entertaining, enlightening... and made me want one.
Awesome content, thank you! It was great to hear the motivation and passion that drives them in first person and not an interpretation of it. Beautifully shot, delicately executed video! I hope to see more like this one! Oh, and on a side note, I salute you Adrian the way you just introduced the topic and gave all the floor to the watchmakers. I feel it is the right way though the majority of YT content creators would make it about themselves... You are doing so effing well!
Well done, Adrian! I loved that you didn’t show the watches much at all, and when you did, it was in the final 1/4 of the video. This helped focus the audience on the story of this brand and their craftsmanship, instead of being solely focused on the “money shots” of their watches. I hope you get the chance to do more of this style of video.
Thank you Adrian for this fascinating look into Armin Strom. The watches they produce are just the embodiment of artistic perfection. They strike the perfect balance of looking quite intricate and polished, while not appearing too cluttered and busy. That is not something that many skeletonized brands can pull off.
I think it’s brilliant that you’re able to show us these brands in such detail. It shows the respect you’re given by the horological players, hope to see more like this 👍
I loved it Adrian. That was fun and delightful to see. Do more of these please. That is how I have always felt about watches ... The real beauty for me is that mechanical movement. To keep it covered up was like hiding the soul of the watch. One can only dream of having one...
great video, as always Adrian.Tried on several Armin Stroms, but unfortunately to big for my wrist. The Gravity Equal Force is fabulous and perfectly finished and better proportioned for my wrist. More of these videos Adrian
Awesome video, I love these documentary style videos which are both interesting and educational and are void of some of the pretentious BS watch content can be filled with
Please tell me that you have been to the Omega Museum, which is litteraly next door and that we are getting a video of that one. Was there 3 weeks ago and love it
Lovely video; exactly the right tone, beautifully shot (although that's never in doubt with your content, always perfection), informative, and I love the respect they show in always referring to him as Mr Armin Storm. I've ordered a Dornbluth so if you could do one with them in about seven months, I might get to see it on the bench 😁
I’m a Brit working in Slovenia…they always refer to senior managers as Mr…so I’m Mr Jason. It’s a respect thing here, I’m guessing the same in Switzerland.
Fantastic video Adrian! I’d love to see more content like this. There are so many brands to choose from, I think that as long as the brand has integrity, makes quality watches and are willing to tell their story then it will be great. There wasn’t much more than a glimpse of the watch but the video was still interesting right to the end and very different to anything else out there.
Always find things like this interesting, seeing inside the factory. Incidentally that was the most innocuous looking building from the outside, who’d have thunk it contains that? If I can give one suggestion - get Greg Wallis presenting and shouting “WWOOOOOWWWW” at everyone
This is super interesting content, I would love to see more of it too. I find the technical aspects particularly interesting. I was in Geneva for 3 days at Rolex last week and it's unbelievable at what high level the work is done there. great video!!! sry for no bad grammar
As a long long time viewer I have to say your film making is awesome and has moved on so much. I don’t know this brand so personally I would have started with a few actual watches so I could get some ‘buy in’ as I’m meeting these people and hearing about them building…something? Something I don’t yet know about…less engaged. But that’s just my opinion, well done on your journey so far, inspirational!
I don't know if I'm ready for a naked watch, in my collection. I'm having too much fun with a full-dress watch. Nonetheless, I respect what Armin Strom is doing.
Do you think I can use Rolex Explorer 2 as a GMT watch? I mean does orange hand can be pointed any time that I want? If it is possible, I think I can use Explorer 2 as a GMT watch
The idea is cool, and the brand is really interesting. But imho it lacks your personal touch. At the end, it's "just" an interview, that anyone could have done. I would have prefered to have your personal feelings about it, mixed with the interview. The images are great though
Sorry Adrian, you are a bit back to front here with this presentation, to put things in context, you may have started with the Musée international d’Horlogerie in La ChaMusée international d’Horlogerie in La Chaux-de-Fondsux-de-Fonds, and then gone to see Armin Strom, (this museum is mentioned by one of your interviewees). I'll be in London for Watchpro, so we can meet to discuss. All the best with the good work.
I'd love to hear your feedback on content like this. Does it work? Do you want more, if so which brands/watchmakers would you like?
Cheers, Adrian
I loved it! First brand that comes to mind is Gronefeld from the Netherlands.
Absolutely love the content! Especially with smaller independent brands, meeting (or hearing from) the watchmaker is a big part of the purchasing decision. It’s a pass from me. Well shot and edited but to be honest I did not connect with them or the brand. Maybe pt 2 with watches featured will be more interesting for me.
Weiss & Bremont would be interesting from your perspective.
A chat with Jerome from Serica could be fun
Great video. I really respect how you said nothing and allowed the team to speak for themselves
Thanks mate. It was one of those videos I had nothing to add but to just listen.
Oh MAN! I have such a thing for Armin Strom. And I loved every second of this video! Just absolutely gorgeous videography to capture such amazing watches. 💕 these are my favourite kinds of videos.

Well done sir! Fantastic content and beautifully shot. Yes... definitely more content like this.

Awesome content, loved the shot of you walking across the street and up to the door
This watch you keep showing is magnificent to look at!…..
Absolutely facinating - great video 👍🇨🇭🇬🇧
Thank you for shining a light on an amazing watch brand.
Fantastic interviews and the footage was so striking. Loved it!
Great story so far and beautifully put together
Saw the Collective watch in NYC. Amazing piece! Claude is such a great guy, as well. Stoked you got to go to the factory, Adrian!

Really lovely window into such an underrated maker. Well done!
Excellent interview! I hope this video does well. I enjoy this type of journalism.

videography on this channel is just becoming next level. amazing as always Adrian
something new and different in this "stale" RUclips watch content.... beautiful! thank you
Amazing content, so cool to see this channel grow and mature
Great video, I look forward to part II.
Really good video, more of these please.

Bloody fascinating Adrian ! …it needs to be an hour ..apologies..great stuff ..you are going deeper down that rabbit hole
Great video, love this documentary style. Very well recorded
Thanks Alex. Glad you liked it.

Fantastic ,For me Vianney Halter is pinnacle of watchmaking.
Great vid, great watches.
All of your videos are very entertaining and very well done. I bought an LHD Pelagos after your Pelagos review. Keep up the great content!
great video very interesting .
Love this content...true watch experts they are..
I’ve known about Armin Storm for years but just not a lot out there about them. Great looking pieces

well done with this video, Adrian! :)
Thanks a lot mate.

How did you like Biel? Born and raised there
Me too! 😄 Nice to see our hometown featured
Loved it there. Wish I stayed for longer so I could explore more.
Would love to see something similar for (Roger) Smiths of Timefactors. It’s the perfect excuse to visit the Isle of Wight & shoot another top video 👏
Done 👍🏻

Cool ✨️ 😎
Do you think I can use Rolex Explorer 2 as a GMT watch? I mean does orange hand can be pointed any time that I want? If it is possible, I think I can use Explorer 2 as a GMT watch
Hi YJ, the Explorer II is a GMT watch, that's the purpose of the orange hand.
Adrian if you are able to have a one which GMT watch would you purchase ? GMT Master 2 or Explorer 2 ? And what would be a reason?
Love their passion and master craftsmanship......although the design is not for me personally.
Much rather see videos like this 👍
The watchmaker wearing a Sub?
Dream warch brand ..
go on, get the badge in Serge.
The idea is cool, and the brand is really interesting. But imho it lacks your personal touch. At the end, it's "just" an interview, that anyone could have done. I would have prefered to have your personal feelings about it, mixed with the interview. The images are great though
First again 🎉
Serge is wearing stone island. I'm not gonna f*** with him
haha
Adrian, I don't get this. It's just an ad. I come here for your content, not straight up advertising.
Na it’s not. It’s exactly the same as my Roger Smith and JLC videos.
I didn't see it as advertising at all i saw it as reviewing a company that isn't that well known ! Very informative 👍
Second
interesting but boring
How does that work?
Fourth, decent
