I like both headlights, both look cool in their own way and both have a mean look to it. I suspect I prefer the new ones because they're more modern, LED and all ...but the DRL in the older ones gives a more aggressive look to the car.
Thanks for doing the comparison. Appreciate the great work. Over here in Ontario, the MSRP for the 2024 Veloce is about C$6.5k higher than the 2023 Veloce according to the Alfa Romeo Canada website. This is mostly due to the C$5k total discount they are offering to clear the 2023 stock.
Those red Sport-seats on the Veloce are the 💣 bomb! Saw your review of the Stelvio Competizione. I wish the Competizione was optioned with those Red seats!
Iv changed my opinion on the new 24 headlights, side by side they are fire and give the stelvio a wider more aggresive look to the front end but thats where it ends for me. Clear taillamps looks cheeps also You can clearly see the hideous black trim around the the entire 24 give it a much higher appearance. At first i thought the 23 had lowering springs or a sport suspension but its nothing more than the 24 trim giving the car a less aggressive raised look. Its as if Alpha Romeo decided they wanted their race inspired SUV to become a little less racey and a little more sUv, Thums down on that one. Also not a fan of the digital speedometer , The analog was timeless and a bit retro that really fit what the company stands for, tradition. If anything electronic should have been upgraded it should have been the infotainment screen, replaced with what they have the tonale, that would have been.
Let's not get carried away. This is a step in the right direction. However, they still have a ways to go. With just a little more effort, they could be at the top of the class.
I absolutely agree that should be improved. The system is expensive and sounds great, but only if we're stopped with the engine off and no road noise. The woofers in the doors needed to be better. The sub doesn't compensate for them because it's far in the back.
I don't like it that they moved the volume sound in the steering wheel, to the change track buttons to free the volume wheel for the digital display options.
Good news is you never pay anywhere close to MSRP on these cars. There are new (yes, there are “new” with several thousand miles, but I am referring to mileage of under 20) with 20% off. 15% of even 2024’s. Including the Quadrifoglio. The questions is why? Does it relate to reliability issues or to the fact they are not selling enough?
Thanks. Good video 🙏🏻 A question - anybody has dogs? Looking for a good solution to cover the back or trunk interior from lots of hair 🤷🏻♂️ Any recommended solution easy to put in and take out without lots of hassle? Thanks 🙏🏻
In my opinion, the small cosmetic differences and revised lights doesn't constitute a "facelift". Alfa Romeo is still offering the same old 7 year model.
Why always bash Alfa? It's no different to what BMW does with their LCI (Life Cycle Impulse) facelift. The digital instruments are a big departure and the infotainment has more remote functionality too. It's not just cosmetics. LED headlights are also functionally superior.
@@darrell9616 the recent 3 is not an example, it's an anomaly beginning with a new upper dashboard due to a new operating system. Compare with the F series, which is the same era as Giulia's.

Headlight washers are mandatory (at least in Europe) for bi-xenon headlights unless they're below 2000 lumens. My guess is that LEDs are not subject to this rule because light refraction is different on those.
For me is not worthy of the price the 24, when you can have same wheels , same taillights and same backbumper on one of the oldest models got a friend who did this and completely look awesome.
Except for the headlights and full screen gauge, the 2023 is a winner and sooo cheap used, thanks for the great work, great video.
I prefer analog gauges over digital ones. So, I'll keep my 2018 as nothing really has changed between my Stelvio and these newer ones.
A lot of folks will love the classic and classy style of the gauges.
The interior leather pkg with the audio is really nice. I really like the refresh exterior of the 24.
That package makes such a big difference!

I have a 2018 Stelvio and I am so happy to drive the almost same car as the MY 2024. If I would drive a 2018 BMW I would have a 2 generation old car

My 21' has the same 'clear' tail lamps. They were available as an option back in 2021.
The red stelvio in 1:05 on the right on the screen is that the limited edition villa d' este?
😍😍💯2023 is better then 2024 model

The Tonail DRLs look good on the Stelvio
Love the 24,
Love what they did with the upgrades!

I bought a cover from Costco for the back seat
I really dont know which headlights I prefer.. its very close.. probably the new... i have the old style... not sure it's worth upgrading
Went in for a veloce trim and ultimately chose the 2023.
And you still win by getting an Alfa!

In Europe, we've got the 2024 refresh in 2023, but the name is the same "2024"
Prefer the look of the 2023.
The 23 is going to have a special place in a lot of people’s hearts for sure!
Actually, pre 2021 models are the best before the decontenting. 2023 is nothing special unless you must have a new version.

Not true with recent BMW LCI efforts. What Alfa did isn't close. See recent 3 series as an example.

Why does the 23 have the headlight washers and 24 does not?
One of the removed features since the pandemic. That's why the side mirrors are unpainted too.

2023 because the lights are more original…

Not worth it even at its cheaper price??
@RonsRides no ron you can have a used quadrifoglio which is better beast for that price used
@RonsRides only 1,000 dollar cheaper , you just paying for digital screen and headlights in my personal opinion. Power and everything else is the same
24 got too round and the headligjt design was really not that good
Basically paying for digital screen crazy.
More remote services and smarter headlights, leaving aside cosmetic changes
But keep in mind its cheaper.
Velo-chey. Not velo-shay
You should know but now my Italian always needs work.
