I have problems with both sides of this. I immediately did not with Guy's take on the people that play WWII German armies. Now, I also do not agree with Bando's use of Guy's personal life (a life that is rarely, if ever, exhibited on his channel) to insult Guy for upsetting Bando. Guy had a very poor take, and Bando reacted with playground name calling. Both ought to rethink their stances on the importance of wargames; becasue what transpired today is shameful.
Yes, things like the last comment I think went a bit to far but it's also understandable why people got mad at Guy after he basically calling part of his audience Nazi sympathizers straight to their faces. So yes, two wrongs doesn't make one right, but it's also quite predictable it would make people go that far. I've watched midwinter minis for some time now and he seems like a nice dude and I hope for him that he comes up with his own more thought out conclusion because it was really disappointing seeing such a childish and superficial view from a guy I always thought of as really creative
@@BreakfastwithBando lol no - I meant MWM's video is sponsored by World of Warships and he does a promo for them half way through... A game in which people play as Allies and Axis in WW2....
I started watching the video and that ad came on which made me chuckle. I got the gist of his video in the first 2 minutes and stopped watching. What a load of BS.
@@gringofett3944 yeah it was nonsense. The only justification I can see is that he's from Jersey which was occupied by Germany during WW2 so maybe it's a culture thing..?
If the army of choice were a true indicator to the real character of the individual playing them I would run screaming away from Dark Eldar players and hide behind the guy playing the Afrika Korps. Also if someone had Erebus as the leader of their Word Bearer army I would try to keep them away from small boys.
If it was a true indication, than I wouldn’t know what to do around Krieg fans. Being around them would make one suicidal, and running away from them would be a cowardice in the line of duty, thus suicide. Still beats Night lords and Word bearers.
Reasons why you would play the Germans and not be a Nazi: 1. You like the way they look/play 2. You understand the fact that this is a game and you are playing the bad guys, like an actor in a ww2 movie. 3. You are interested in the history of the war in general 4. You want to play a damn wargame and you don’t care about the history behind your toy soldiers 5. Gotta collect them all.
The generation that actually fought the war in the 40s bought their kids Airfix Panzers in the 60s, it's ludicrous that the generation that grew up as the war is fading from living memory claims to have discovered the true motivations.
Absolutely. A generation of boys grew up reading commando! Or Biggles building mini kits etc many of them growing up to fight themselves in places like Borneo, the Falklands, the middle east.
@@BreakfastwithBando ... and stories told by elder family members still traumatized from living through nazi occupation at a young age... (not trying to diminish your fun, just explaining why it isn't fun for me)
@@ExecratedPlaysGaming trauma is a big word. And I think it's important to remember war happens to real people. I'm by no means avoiding exposure to wwII history or anything. I just prefer my war media strictly anti-war.
I had a large Waffen SS force, I had a large British and US force too, what about those who play as the Soviets? the thing we need to realise is, we are not playing the politics, we are playing with toy soldiers
THIS^ seriously I am so sick and tired of people taking a table top game and my army choices and thinking "oh you must be a commie because you have a USSR army" while I open my box to reveal British and German Armies as well like "excuse the fuck outta me bud but I got a army for every opponent to enjoy"
One final point before I take my special smartie and get locked up for the night. More than one great actor has gone on record expressing how much fun it is to play the baddie. More fun than playing the goodie apparently. I would hardly say that Peter O'Toole, Christopher Lee and Alan Rickman were genuinely evil people in real life.
I took it more as, "You might be seen by some as a little suspicious if you play the Nazis." Instead of, "You are a Nazi if you play the Nazis." And I think Guy is basically correct, there are a lot of people who will look at you sideways in that situation. There are also a lot of people who will not even notice. So, I think it varies depending on your group. Guy is a very liberal fellow, and if my entire group was like that, I might not play the Nazis if I were the new guy that nobody knew. It's quite circumstantial I think, but in certain situations there may be some social stigma attached to it.
Yeah, Guy is basically correct that people might see you as a Nazi if you play the Nazis, but those people are retarded and usually aren't into historical wargames. Generally historical wargamers understand things like playing as Germans or Soviets or Japanese.
honestly I took it as even less than that. My grandparents lived through the war and nazi occupation, and they still talk about it regularly. I would have to struggle through a lot of second-hand trauma before I could get myself to go through building and painting a force of historically accurate nazi's, let alone having fun doing it.
@@Error898789 wtf is second hand trauma? Is that more made up leftist BS to keep the perpetually offered occupied ? I can dig you not playing them by your grandparents experiences and thats fine. You have an honest reason to not care for the idea. But why on God's earth would you assume that someone playing them is the worst example of humanity without knowing anything else. As far as the game is concerned and thats all we are talking about a person might like the ascetics, game mechanics or might just be a troll and looking to get a rise outta someone. I just can't imagine the fragile mental states a person has, to let something like this bother them. This is purely the actions of feminized men. Instead of being in control of their emotions and actions you let emotion rule and control you. Just sad man.
When i was younger i was always told, we have to learn about ww2 and history so that we remember and therefore wont let it go so far ever again. Nowadays the mantra is to act like it never happened and cancel everything related to it, doesnt sound like a good idea to me!
I think players investing into the "politics" of their faction is actually good for wargaming. Theres nothing better than an ork player going WAHGGGGG or my buddy doing a german accent.
I love the ascetics of the German tanks, I grew up playing the original CoD, and love playing the Axis and Allies board game which is a whole lot of fun. I’ve always had a fascination with the panzer line of tanks and German Naval vessels especially the U-Boat. I’d play the Germans, not the Nazis. Plus someone has to play the bad guy for there to be a game for the good guys to play.
Me too. I have an SS army because they have the coolest camo and who doesn't love playing as the "big baddies" every now and then? I also have an Indian north Africa force and French partisans... weirdly nobody ever questions my politics when playing those armies.
Ive never been able to get into historicals purely because i love fantasy so much. I've always preferred Knights, Dragons, Barbarians & Sorcerors over Re enacting history. its purely a preferencial thing though, I have massive respect to the Wargamers who have crazy historical grand scale armies and tables. those are awesome regardless of setting.

I like both & both have different play styles. Thank you for taking the time to counter what I believe is an unfair & full of assumptions video by Midwinter Minis.
I can't believe Guy the notorious Deadbeat Dad complained about Hugo Boss enthusiasts while advertising a game where you play as the Hugo Boss enthusiasts. His diatribe about people who play them are them is goofy as hell. Bro plays 40k lmfao where every single faction is literally worse
I love Guy’s channel but it was probably the worst video I’ve seen recently from the big miniatures RUclipsrs. As somebody who loves war history and history just in general, I stopped watching it half way through. The entire video was a huge virtue signal. The tiptoeing around history from today’s content creators is annoying, and flinging around the word fascist, extremist, or Nazi like they’re buzzwords is not only disingenuous to what it is to be any of those things, but waters down what should be a very serious accusation. It’s a bit rubbish imo. Would it be at all possible to consider that Games Workshop has oversaturated the market to such an absurd degree that we are paying 60 dollars for 10 plastic dudes? Or are we gonna stick with the whole Nazi thing being the reason why historical games are not as popular? Lol, such a strange video.
I’ll leave aside the fact most Warhammer factions are pretty effed up and ask one question: Can you imagine The Battle of Britain (the 1969 movie) without the Luftwaffe? I imagine it would look pretty silly. A bunch of guys zipping around the sky in Spitfires going “dakadakadaka” at the clouds. Ok there was one scene where that happened but most of the movie had the Sterling Chaps plus some Plucky Poles blatting the Beastly Boche. My point is, somebody obviously had to get dressed up in Hugo Boss outfits and zip around the skies in Messerschmitts humming Die Fahne Hoch. If only to give the decent chaps with pipes, pet spaniels and MG sports cars something to kill and then spin a yarn about over an well-earned pint in the mess. At no point do I imagine, at the end of the day, those pretend-Huns taking off their Nasty costumes, going home, kissing the missus and then spending a couple of hours before supper planning how to invade the Soviet Union or wipe out entire races of people. Playing WWII Germans in Bolt Action is the same.
Every time this conversation comes out the two that are engaged just kinda talk past eachother rather than respond to what the other says. You tell the guy to play a different game and he literally does. Mans literally makes a video to ask people how people how they get past a mental roadblock he has and you spent a huge part of the video ignoring him. Guy pretty much says "i have an issue seeing both sides when I've is unequivocally evil" and you respond with "well there are two sides!" Like that's not the very same thing that he already addressed. I don't think either of you are wrong here. If he has a problem with this style of game than he has that problem with it and yes, he should just play something else. I understand why you wouldn't be comfortable playing a game arround this time period. I also understand that some people don't pay 40k because they don't like any of the factions because they're all terrible. No one is "wrong" to have that feeling. And you're also right that yeah if you don't feel comfortable playing the game than don't. You're just the one who decided to be a fucking child about it and attack him personally cause your feelings got hurt in a video that has nothing to do with you personally.
i don’t think this is attacking mwm personally. from what i got from this video is some one shouldn’t made to feel guilty about playing the germans in a ww2 table top game. it’s a historical game based off of history. thats like saying some one shouldn’t write a phd thesis on hitler as they would be considered a nazi sympathiser.

Completely true , someone has to be the bad guy. If you don’t want to be the bad guys or even the worst guys , maybe war games aren’t for you as you can’t separate a game with reality. You don’t need to play the bad guys but then again you need to accept maybe someone will.

Literal first world problems. Some people in the current generation seem to have this bizarre need to find monsters where none exist and they end up insulting people who do not even disagree with them in real life political issues... But have done the awful crime of choosing to wield an army that likes uniforms designed by Hugo Boss. In a Wargame there needs to be some sort of reason why the two sides engage in battle so someone has to play the bad guy. Also 40k for instance in such an absurdly brutal universe and the wars fought in that universe are so horrible at times that real world "Yatzees" would be seen as pussies by everyone involved except the Tau.
Responding to 3:52 min mark. I would not refuse to play him. Also as a german myself I really hate how guy didnt understand that the nazi party and Wehrmacht werent the same thing. You could be pressed into service in the Wehrmacht without beeing a member of the nazi party, in fact many people werent. I am not trying to justify the actions of the Wehrmacht but it always bugs me when people dont understand the difference.
Hey, I'm left leaning, from the south and I still think that there's nothing wrong with playing (and did at one point) Germany in bolt action (or FoW) 😂
He's not from the South of England he is from Jersey, the Jersey which is part of the Channel Islands, the only part of the British Isles that was occupied throughout the second World War and undefended by the British. Residents were dragged off to concentration camps and those left behind suffered horrendous deprivations. The Islands are still full of bunkers and gun emplacements left behind by the Germans and memorials to our dead and the dead of the Polish and Russian prisoners of war so I think Guy is very aware of his family history.
Some people should just think a bit less. For their own Good. The Poeple who lived in those time are the ones who made those Games popular in the first Place.
Did... did you watch the Midwinter video? At no point in that video does he say that "If you play the Nazis in Bolt Action, you're a Nazi sympathizer." Yes, he does say that it's possible that people who play the Germans might share an ideology with the Nazi party, but he also says that they might just be history buffs who are interested in the German perspective on the war or that they're power gamers looking to take advantage of strong rules (I don't play Bolt Action so I can't speak to whether or not the Axis have stronger rules than the Allies, but still). The video was primarily Guy and Hattie talking about how featuring the Nazis as a playable faction in the game might make some people hesitant to play the game and how that might impact the broader appeal of Bolt Action compared to something like Warhammer. How people are getting "German players are all Nazi sympathists" out of that video is confusing to me. With all of that said, none of it matters because you showed your true colors at the end when you made an attack on Guy's personal life. Utterly shameful, man. Grow up.
Guy is a clown on his best days. His comments were idiotic, I guess alot of people who play as Romans in historical games want to rule half the world and enslave everyone right?? Late to the party! I am a follower of MWM, and even I found that video a bit ... odd. But it's not the first time I've come accross this trend (generally, rather than MWM specifically) that seems to be doing the rounds of trying to distance oneself from any one or any group in history or fiction that did a bad thing. Even with 40k, there are folks who get right uppity that you like 40k because "40k is an awful place full of bigotry and nastiness, and you like it, so you must be that kind of person!". Nonsense! I can't help draw a parallel to H.P. Lovecraft and the Cthulhu mythos and the folks who pop up every so often to compain about him. I want to play US Marines and French Foreign Legion fighting against Russians and Chinese with Cobra attack helicopters throwing hands against Russian tanks and shit.
Definitely not a fan of MWM's video, I think it's insulting in what he is implying and tone deaf. Sometimes people just like to play the bad guys. I don't play bolt action, but the guys I've known who do play it seem to not have a national socialists LARPer problem. But I've played Steel Division:Normandy '44, Steel Division 2, I've played the Wargame series and I've had no problem what so ever playing the "bad guys". They're just a division or a battlegroup I play to have fun with and that's how it is with most people who play this kind of stuff. It's a game, it's not taken too seriously, the game is called 'Bolt Action', not 'Auschwitz Simulator'. I don't understand how someone could play a wargame at all and make the decision that one violence is acceptable while another is not. If I play Orkz that doesn't mean I'm an advocate for slavery or killing people because it's funny, doesn't mean I'm a facist if I play IG or a p*dophile if I play Dark Eldar. But according to MWM's standards, this is what it means. Now I have a deep respect for people who shun violence in all it's forms, even in fictional depictions for purposes of recreation, but don't go ahead and shame people who play or collect one army because it hurts your feelings, like wtf are you doing starting an army of child soldiers?

Nice video! MWM's vid reeked of concern trolling to me, softly implying that historical wargames have an issue with fascist players but under the guise of "just asking questions" despite clearly having done no research on the topic and casting some pretty wide dispersions. I think your comment at the end is entirely fair, it's not as if he wasn't public about his relationship or break up, if he's comfortable being public with it to illicit sympathy from his fanbase then he should be comfortable with it being used to criticize him. It goes both ways and stops being part of your private life when you choose to be public about it.
The people who are upset about it would probably be using that argument if it was against somebody they didn't like. Is it a strong argument No because it's a judgment on someone's character. But I think for it to be just a slight petty insult and people act like he used that as his whole argument throughout the video.
I kinda feel like Guy just did this for clicks. If he really just wanted to paint up some Bolt Action minis without the moralistic scoop then he would have just gone ahead. Sure you would have some detractors in the comments but I can't see how that would have been the mainstay discussion. It was kind of like his weird "calling out" Henry Cavill video. He knew full well nothing would come of it but it makes for a thumbnail/video title that people will click on. I like a lot of the dudes painting tutorials and I really don't care what he gets up to in his personal life as it's literally none of my business but yeah... some of the uploads do showcase some uncomfortably manipulative clickbaiting and general lack of awareness.

Was the word "Nazi" too upsetting? I think that you totally failed to grasp military wargaming. We don't say "Who wants to be the Allies and who wants to be the Nazis?" It is Allies versus Germans. It was compulsory to be a member of the National Socialists -even as a teen. The German army were NOT known as "The Nazis" but the Wehrmacht. So the whole "high anxiety" over this question is silly. Armies battle armies on various levels and after 50 years I have never once heard the phrase "I'll be the Nazis". Stick to model building and painting and leave the fictional wargaming angst out of things I do enjoy the channel!
Common sense and clear thinking prevails! I was pretty annoyed with MWM video myself. It is just a game. He shouldn’t shame others for simply enjoying the miniature war gaming hobby in their own way. Just subscribed. Keep it coming!

Love the comment at the end, I've not wanted to watch MWM since that happened. Hired a new employee to just leave his wife a couple a months later for her her. His poor kid
I think this is a mischaracterization of MWM's video; the point you seem to have taken away is 'if you play Germans you must be a Nazi' whereas in the actual video he literally states that he's not accusing anyone of anything but rather that he's curious as to why bolt action is a less popular game than 40k despite being both a better wargame and cheaper. And you know what? I think the fact that WWII games have the baggage of real history, real politics, and real atrocities attached might be a contributor to why people are uncomfortable playing them, and playing the Axis in particular. I watched this video all the way through because I think giving opposing viewpoints fair consideration is important, so if someone wants to argue this viewpoint in a way that doesn't involve as much 'um'-ing, 'ah'-ing, whataboutism, tangent-ing, or as many unrelated 'look at my minis' breaks, and a bit more understanding of the fact that real and fictional atrocities do not hold the same moral significance, I'm all ears.
Just cause he says he's not accusing anyone to cover his ass doesn't mean he actually doesn't. And if you watch the video, he actually does so during that bit about far right extremists. You gotta learn how to spot deception, mate.
Just from the thumbnail I knew the angle MWM would go with his video. I find it ironic of him to bash historic wargamers when his channel/ livelihood is based on making videos about painting 40k space faciscts or racist fantasy orcs..... for a community that has its own issues with sexism and xenophobia.
I really like your final comment. That's exactly what virtue signalers are like. "I'm going to take a brave stand against a hated, defeated political movement!" But he's just a slime in real life. He's probably also a tankie who secretly cheers when freedom gets crushed by people who call each other "comrade". Am I talking about the SS? No, the other guys who call each other "comrade".
That's a nice looking DAK force! I also play both US and Germans, though mostly for K47. Of course you are correct in your assessment of the MWM video. It was not the first time I've heard this stupid and decitful rhetoric from hobby poseurs, but the combination of cluelessness and hypocrisy, complete with the World of Warships sponsorship, was particularly infuriating. The fact is that people who try to moralize about wargaming aren't actually interested in wargaming and are working to destroy the hobby. And for the record, I think you are totally right to respond to his empty virtue signalling with a reminder of his adultery and child abandonment, which he is obviously unashamed of since he features his mistress in every video. I've heard only exaggerated hearsay about the event in Spain, but if the dude was a Francoist I couldn't care less, particularly when the organizers surely wouldn't have had any objections if he was dressed as a communist Popular Front nun-raper.
I just can't get one with k47 I just don't like the aesthetic of the minis, and I'm not the biggest fan of "weird war" I wish they had simply done it as the war continued I to 47 which incidentally is the exact theme of my book 🤣

And honestly, as someone who grew up looking at the bulletholes in the neighbor's houses, who's grandparent's village was decimated by shipping of all the men off at gunpoint to be worked to death digging trenches in the eastern front; the gamification and romanticizing of all that is a pretty big reason I tend to stay away from ww2-historical war gaming. I'm not making anyone out to be anything, it's just a discomfort I don't have to deal with in warhammer.
Same. I want to get into historical wargaming but the fact that I might have to play against a romanticized army in recent history bugs me. I stick to sci Fi and fantasy.
95% of the people playing the Bad Guys are normal everyday people. Which means there's about 4% more Bad Guys playing than any other faction. Id like to say nobody plays the Bad Guys out of solidarity, but sadly there is that tiny minority that proves the rule.
Can you name a single one? Or is it more of, "I heard a story one time about how one guy came to a tournament in full Nazi regalia?" I already know it's the latter. How do I know that? Because people with such extreme views represent such a tiny percentage of the population that they can't be accurately measured, thus the likelihood that you'd encounter one of them in a hobby enjoyed by a tiny fraction of the population is infinitesimal. What you do encounter is normal people making jokes, which the hyper sensitive progressives invading the hobby will often take offense at because they exist to be miserable and believe in oppression.
This is the reason GW stopped emphasizing Krieg, people got really weird about RPing their real life analogues. Growing up in a rural area I saw a ton of people who romanticized the germans and such as actually the good guys and that you cant believe what they tell you etc. When I was young I thought I was super smart because I parroted this stuff and everyone told me I was brilliant beyond my years. Eventually I realized that if I was contrarian about everything I was just being shitty to people for no reason and ignoring basic reality to make myself feel smart. Heck I had a friend who went to the Halloween costume contest as an SS officer, the guy never shook that same mentality and always things hes the most brilliant person around, feel bad for him because outside of his obvious negative biases hes a nice guy who always seems to be down on his luck. Now its ways fine to play the bad guys because they look cool and understand exactly why you do but it's different to do it because you sympathize with the bad guys and are just completely not self aware or considerate of anyone around you.
im also pretty sure this is a similar story to why we never got a krieg level release for the tallarn. As they started doing them JUST as 9/11 happened.
Except Krieg are not just space Germans. Look at the standard Korpsman. Much more ressemblance to a French poilu ! Although to be fair, I get asked many times during cons if I’m cosplaying Wolfenstein despite my horizon blue greatcoat so I guess many people don’t go further than « gas mask and long coat ? Must be a Nazi. »
I have family shot my the army for participating in a labour strike. My parents spent their entire lives of the latter half of the last century fearing a Soviet invasion. I have Russian and Swedish ancestry from the Napoleonic Wars. I am going to buy Swedish AND Soviet armies for Team Yankee. That is my background as to how I relate myself to historical events. I made a post on his video as well when I saw it, and I was seriously disappointed. It was an out of touch video to make, and it reeked of being utterly devoid of thought and planning - he made grand sweeping assumptions and rationalizations about a topic he admitted to having no experience with - and he turned the fact that people play historically less palpable factions into "a problem" when it is not. The only people that turn it into a problem are ignorant people like him that point fingers and make shit up without even ASKING the person why they do what they do.
It is the height of arrogance to attribute personal belief to the toy soldiers we place on the table, all of the commentators on Mid Winter Minis and rebuttal videos neatly skirted around the other elephant in the room, what about the people who play the American Civil War like I do (Warlord Epic Battles) I play the South so am I by the tiny soldiers I put down a wannabe South’n Gentleman plantation owner of dubious moral social and civil consciousness? No I am just not a fan of painting blue, and brown lends its self to many variations.
My family was killed by the Germans in the Soviet Union because they were Jewish and I still play Axis armies in Bolt Action. MidWinter Minis can deal with it.
Something that was never an issue is suddenly an issue when algorithms based on engagement start forcing unpopular takes on social media oh my. Historical wargaming has always been niche, grass roots movements. Its people getting rules, and growing their own scenes, which takes time, money, and dedication, unlike mainstream pick up and play games like WH40k. Chain of Command is one of my favorite historicals, its unpopular because its not mainstream, not because it has oh no, the russians and germans.
@@BreakfastwithBando It is definitely a different game. I love the pre-game game of setting jump-off points, and the skirmishy nature, but its missing some better balance. But if you are playing CoC in the first place its mostly about having beer with friends more than competitive integrity lol.

More than one great actor has gone on record expressing how much fun it is to play the baddie. More fun than playing the goodie apparently.
I would hardly say that Peter O'Toole, Christopher Lee and Alan Rickman were genuinely evil people in real life.
I took it more as, "You might be seen by some as a little suspicious if you play the Nazis."
Instead of, "You are a Nazi if you play the Nazis."
And I think Guy is basically correct, there are a lot of people who will look at you sideways in that situation.
I don't think he has a place lecturing people on the morality of their actions. And it's not like he's holding a serious or defensible position even if he happened to be a moral paragon.

By modern standards he held some very problematic views, however I can enjoy the world and setting he created while not following his particular beliefs!
I don’t like historicals for the same reason I don’t like Warhammer 30k (the Horus Heresy), as it’s basically Warhammer’s historical game because it’s already happened.
I’d be interested in alternate history (not mechs) modern warfare/post modern warfare wargames.
I want to play US Marines and French Foreign Legion fighting against Russians and Chinese with Cobra attack helicopters throwing hands against Russian tanks and shit.
Don't we all.
You might like the Yankee game which is an alternate Cold War goes hot.
It's fun pretending to be the bad guys, just like how some certain people genuinely believe they are good people.
So I was thinking of trying to do a child soldier army for 30ks militia rules but you know what for some reason there are ZERO child soldier minis out there. How am I supposed to express my creative vision with all this suppression 😂 (ps for the outrage types this is a joke)

That's what he does. Just like his video where he is just sooo concerned about how GW treats their employees.
The amount of ways you got around saying Yahtzee is hilarious
the censorship of the glorious leader (YT) means we need to be quick :D
Fuck what those other Guys say, the end put a grin on my face.
The people who are upset about it would probably be using that argument if it was against somebody they didn't like. Is it a strong argument No because it's a judgment on someone's character. But I think for it to be just a slight petty insult and people act like he used that as his whole argument throughout the video.
@@noblegalifreyan4551 My point exactly-just more succinctly put.

@BreakfastwithBando did the US drop those nukes to systematically genocide groups of people?

Well that makes two of us 😂 you know I never could put my finger on it but I felt the same about that Henry cavil vid too and you've nailed it. I won't throw shade at his painting ability either both he and hatty are very good painters no doubts. But as a creator you kinda have to be a bit "drama" for example this video has 4.times the traffic as my average video and sadly that's kinda important if you are trying to build a following. (Not that I'm supporting being a clickbaity drama whore )
I think Midwinter was overthinking it honestly. It's really not that deep.

Thanks for a great comment and for subbing
As a fervent Anti-facist who thinks anyone who believes in that ideology seriously should suffer, an “accident” in minecraft.
I always play the Axis and germany when i play games like HOI4 or Enlisted/War thunder. because their look is amazing, there is just a strange beauty and elegance in the german uniform not shared along the allies.
Every now and then someone with no understanding of .. humanity .. demands historical censorship of *insert medium here*.
Love the comment at the end, I've not wanted to watch MWM since that happened. Hired a new employee to just leave his wife a couple a months later for her her. His poor kid
Ironically there's more bigotry on-line from the Warhammer 40K crowd than any historical gamer I've interacted with.
It only ever seems to be aimed at the Warhammer community, moar like. By and large, I'd say it is would depend on individual experience.
F*** the Eldar. Those pointy eared bastards…
So... you didn't watch it? Bc they didn't moan about it.
You just ask who in your local historical group agrees with Guy, and then kick them out of the group. He's doing you a favor really.
@@BreakfastwithBando I agree that the minis, particularly the mech designs, are hit and miss. I like the American ones but I hate spade-foot mechs and that's most of what every other faction has is spade-footed.
@@ExecratedPlaysGaming sadly I can name 1.

Something that was never an issue is suddenly an issue when algorithms based on engagement start forcing unpopular takes on social media oh my.
