The Oase Highline 400 Stream tank
Clean an external filter prefilter in less than 3 minutes, real time
The steps.
1. Switch off the power from the filter and heater
2. Close the distributor (right) and open the prefilter (left)
3. Clean the prefilter
4. Return the prefilter and close / open the distributor
5. Connect the power to the pump and heater
6. Vent the filter at bottom of the head (if necessary)

I agree. That would make my life so much easier! It takes me longer to get the filter out of the cabinet so I can remove the pre-filter than it does to actually clean the pre-filter!

In my opnion its not noisy. Think also depends on where it stands (wooden cabinets transmit a lot of the vibrations)
