- In EP20 we discuss TikTok and ask is TikTok good for music?
New music is being found on the social media platform giving upcoming artists their own platform to showcase their music and bypassing the old traditional format of Record labels.
Some artists have been having massive success on TikTok and have been getting signed by Major Labels off the back of a viral TikTok, is this right, is it cheating, what are your thoughts?

Yeah mate the kids and tiktok are not a good mix it's far too influenced and not in a good way my older 3 are all over it but then it has an impact on my younger 3 through wot they hear the teens coming out with absolute nonsense

I am not feeling Tiktok personally, I don't use it. I don't like Social media full-stop tbh. It's ok if used correctly and when used in small doses, it's a massive time waster and a big distraction, good for the government etc :) Every now and then I have to go cold turkey and do a detox lol😂 . I am currently Only using FB at the moment. Having for or 4 or 5 Platforms at once is madness if u don't do music or own ur own business, it's a total waste of ur time man !
I see alot of negatively on these platforms and it breeds hate too, it can be a bit of head fuck too sometimes.
Now I try to use it to waste time, or like when I am in a que or having a smoke at work or on a train or something.
The trick is to know how to use it and don't let it consume your mind.
& most importantly remember Social media isn't realife 😂💯
