How to disable secure boot policy on windows 10, 8.1 and 8

- Fix An error has occurred setting the element data. The value is protected by Secure Boot policy and cannot be modified or deleted.
First of all try this code below on your cmd (administrator command prompt)
" bcdedit.exe /set nx AlwaysOn " copy this in to cmd without quotation mark. then hit enter ,if any error occurred use the following steps for fix the problem.
1: Open Settings
2: Find Change Advanced Start-up option
3: Restart computer from advanced start up
4: select Troubleshoot
5: Advanced Option
6: UEFI Firmware settings
7: Restart
8: F10
9: System Configuration
10: Boot Option
11: Secure Boot -change enable to Disable
12: F10
13: Press Code + Enter key for changes
After log on try the bcdedit.exe /set nx AlwaysOn on cmd it should be fine.
Just Remember The Secure Boot policy is always good for system performance so I would recommend it always Enabled. You can Enable once you finish your Computer problems.

KJ PLAYZ You need To do password to your bios and if u done it u need to restart the computer pers F2 to open the bios and write the password and u can take it of :)
or try to find old bios and u can do it .

i have a alienware system and it doesnt show the menu where you press f10 it just takes you to there own bios which only has secure boot control enable/disable which i dont know what that does

In the end you buy a pc, but Microsoft owns it. WTF. Why do they insist on creating more hoops for people to jump through, with each new iteration of their OS ? It's absolutely ridiculous. In order to use unsigned drivers, you need to be Windows savvy and actually know what unsigned drivers do. I saw it in: folders > PC > right click > properties >advanced system settings > advanced system settings > performance > settings > And here we can DEP where we can only disable it for some software or others things

The secure boot option may not be located in the place he/she has in theirs. go to boot and click on an option that may or may not say somethinh about boot options(or that phrase). The secure boot option should pop up. The reason why i can't remember is because after that, i couldn't find that option afterwards.
