I passed by the kickstarter this morning while I was checking out all the new tuesday releases- mostly John Company. I thought the art was meh, how good could a horse racing theme be for low player counts and moved on. I must say, Ryan's video totally won me over. Gonna go check it out now :)
Great video, although I'm not too sure horses on the inside have less travel distance than those further out. The way the board's drawn up, it looks like they're pretty even to me. Anyway, I backed this one on KS, and now counting the days to February.
Really liked the look of the game, and the theme, and the mechanism!! But then I looked at the kickstarter page with the prices... :/ Recently I am seeing this new "tactic" with many kickstarters, where a game costs for example 25$, and the shipping costs nearly the same amount (in this example whole 18$ to Germany!!) :O I am not sure, if this is a new way to subsidize lower game prices, but 18$ for shipping for a relatively small game is... a bit too much, unfortunately :(
unfortunately, shipping costs worldwide have increased DRAMATICALLY over the last couple of years, and i think that's what we're seeing here. i sent a prototype i was done playing back to the publisher yesterday, and it was over $50 for a 4lb box, and that was withing the united states! :(
Your video editing is off the chain. Better than any other that I've seen. This looks fun!

I wanted to see that Seabiscuit tattoo! Great ending, too. Haha!
Absolutely loved the ending! Nice trumpet you got there! 😅
i stole it from my daughter Cassie! Now that it's touched my filthy lips, she'll never play it again!
Thanks for this perfect runtrough!
Loving the transatlantic accent Ryan 😂
haha, the t-shirt pull up!
Very funny and cute runthrough.

Did all gamer tubers decide to do a vid of this game at the same time?
nope, the publisher decided that. they asked that we hold our videos until the game went live on kickstarter, which it did today :)
that seems like a fun game, but I don't like roll and write games :(
I'm not dying about R&W games myself, but this one win me over.
Camel up vibes :)
I'd be willing to bet that this was initially pitched as Camel Up R & W.
This game is too complicated for me.
