    I'm running those same Vittoria tires in 30mm and tubeless on my Moots road bike and they have been absolutely brilliant! Fast rolling and excellent ride! Love them!

    Had replaced my straight aluminum set post with a Chinese curved back carbon seat post, at least 3 years ago. One of my favorite upgrades. Not to bouncy or stiff.

    My favorite tire so far, is the Pirelli P-Zero Race tlr. Rolls fast, easy to mount and have not had a single puncture in 1000 miles.

    On third Asgard. Two at previous house for 15 years. One at current house. Neighbours so impressed they got one. Now seeing in lots of houses between our place and shops. Just make sure you have a flat, solid, base. Some people have installed on a bit of a slope

    I fitted these on to a scott speedster 20 gravel bike, and i had a much improved ride experience this afternoon. Can not believe i hadnt tried these tyres before.

    I just went to the Vittoria Corsa N.EXT tubeless in 30 mm for my road bike. I put the insert in them as well. I'm satisfied with them and have got 200 km on them with no issues.

    I ride the the tube type Vittoria and I completely agree with your findings. In the real world there isn't much to separate any of them and really just boils down to ride feel, and these have that cotton clincher ride feel

    Love Asguard sheds.
    Currently got a three bike one in the garden doing great duty as no room in the house!
    Recently switched over to the Vittoria Next in a 30mm for my winter commute.
    Seems a good allrounder.
    Previously used the Rubino Pro (all tubeless) and these feel quicker and certainly have more grip in the wet.
    Not as quick as some Veloflex tubeless I have used in the summer but probably better for the majority of people!
    Gonna try some Conti GP5000S TR in a 32mm in the summer!

    David, I have the Cane Creek carbon road elastimer seatpost. I really like it, takes alot of the road buzz out. Those loking for more comfort might want to look into one. Cheers.

    As an American, I can't believe we haven't learned about metal storage sheds yet! This should keep the number of people shooting my bikes down more than wood!

    I put a N.ext TLR on today. Hope it lasts longer than the GP5000 it replaced (4700km, rear tire, and im light)
    What surprised me about the GP5k i took off is that not one single thing punctured the tire.
    Also hoping for better wet grip because the GP was crap. I was getting wheel slip easily when i hit wet areas uphill.

    I'd like to see what you think about Hutchinson tyres. I run Fusion5 Tubeless on the road bike and Sector 32 on the commuter. In terms of tubeless setup, they have been faultless. They may give away some rolling resistance but are in the £40.00/tyre range!

    David you hav praised the Pirelli PZero Race TLR - what are your thoughts comparing it to the new NEXT? I’m the market for such a tire and both of these are the ones I am considering.

    Great roundup, as usual! FWIW to your viewers: I just bought a pair of the Next tires in 34. I found they were tight to put on, but sealed up well. I was on the fence about running them tubeless, but they were so tight to get on I wasn’t sure I could get them on off in the field to change a tube, so I sent tubeless. Having a high end tire in size 34 is a nice option for winter riding / commuting. On the Red Shift post, I have the first generation post, which I bought to ameliorate some of the harshness of an aluminum road frame. I found it to be a bit too heavy and it bobbed a bit on me even at the firmest setting - I do weigh more than you, however! 😁. Thinking of using with my Zwift-bike this winter! Again, appreciate the work that goes into these reviews.

    I’ve recently just bought some tubeless tyres, went with P Zero’s. I think a video comparing the latest tubeless tyres would be really good, I actually couldn’t find an up to date video where someone impartial has compared them, be good to hear your opinion 👍

    I'd really like to see you review some Rene Herse tyres. IMHO the Juniper Ridge is the best off road tyre I've ever ridden. They're expensive, but boy do they ride nicely.

    I had the redshift seatpost and swapped it for a pnw dropper post. Much better because 1. You can tune the comfort with a shock pump 2. It actually goes up and down vertically whereas the redshift moves back and down

    Just riding on these on Hunt 44 Aerocarbon tubeless 28mm. I agree that there are nice. Just can’t get hold of 5000S or Pro One !!!

    These Vittoria tires are very good.
    previously I used Challenge Elite pro, this tire is also good but the installation & vibration when the tire hits the damaged road is very noticeable.

    This episode is basically an echo chamber for me 😂 have one of the Asgard sheds (agree that they are fantastic and we'll worth the £)... Also just bought some of the new coursas nexts... To stand next to my GP5000s on the other wheels! Found the Coursa Speeds to be pretty terrible in terms of durability..... Twice I managed less than one road race with them!

      @@davidarthur I've just moved to the north Cotswolds and I'm going to convert my Trek Madone SLR 7 to tubeless and join some group rides for the first time ever. I've just ordered the Vittoria Air-Liner insert and am deciding on which tyre to go with.
      My LBS recommended GP5000 STR in 28 width (the max my bike will take) even considering the current weather and road conditions, which I've been hankering after since I got the bike, but do you think they are the best choice for autumn / winter in this part of the world, or am I risking wasting an expensive set of tyres?
      Money is no object for the thing that keeps me on the road, but only if I'm not replacing them all the time. I'm not fit or light (90kg), so any wattage saving might help me to keep up with the group.

      The Corsa Speed was made specifically for Time Trial racing
      Not for its durability and mileage. Just thought of sharing this

    I've tried the Vittoria Corsa next 700x28 and 700x30 tubetype and the comfort is not exceptionnal, and 2,2 watts slower than gp5000.

    It's worth noting the link you provided in the description for the Vittoria Corsa NEXT tires described here @8:30... takes you to the NON-TUBELESS variant of the tire. It doesn't state that clearly on the [chain reaction] website.... so I got burned with buying 'em, installing them, and realizing they were the non-tubeless version. I'm a US customer and was not able to return them (to the UK); since I mounted them to my wheels. My own dumb mistake; but a word of caution to anyone else out there looking to pick these up.

      You should see the price of motorcycle tires £270 for 2 tires on my motorbike whereas I just got rubino pro IV set of 2 for £34 for my road bike the prices of everything is crazy tbf.

    I really wish that Vittoria made this tire STILL with a high TPI count, RESPONSIVE cotton blend casing, but with a thicker, better longevity, and a more durable tread strip, instead of going the 'dead' feeling nylon casing route like everyone else (and some of their lower line products).
    (Think; Clement Campionato Del Mundo Seta tubulars from way back in the ancient times, THE perfect 'training tire'! They even had the same straight longitudinal ribbed tread pattern as the Corsa Gs do.)
    Maybe I am just too spoiled by the suppleness, response, and yes SOUND of their Corsa G, 320 TPI series, especially when stuffed with their very own latex tubes.
    I really don't care how much 'faster' so many on here claim the GP5000s with butyl tubes 'roll', or how many watts they supposedly save over the Corsa G series (which I do not believe at all, anyway), I will NEVER give up the ALIVE, and responsive feel of that setup, even at the cost of lower longevity. 😉

    Is the Vittoria Corsa NEXT TLR compatible with the Enve Foundation 45??? Don't see it on their website yet. @8:09 - you noted 'all sizes above 28mm are compatible with hookless rims' - which the Enve 45s are. Does that mean 28, 30, 32, 34 work? Or 30, 32, 34 work? (not 28)

      Yes, they are on the list of approved tires and I used them on the SES AR 4.5. I like them, they are tougher than the corsa control G2.0 which have a thin sidewall, but don't feel quite as nice either. I got 2000 miles in summer on good roads before noticing the rubber worn thru to the casing in a couple locations. No flats. Still running the front with Silca sealant. Swithced back to an Enve tire on the back while deciding next tire purchase.

    Bought the non tubeless N.ext before the brr review came out. Noticeably slower than the same set up on gp5000…latex tubes. They do feel nice, better damped but who wants to give up 7-8 watts per pair for what they do well? Maybe if you do mild gravel the improved puncture resistance is worth it. As usual the marketing hype doesn’t match the reality imo. We’ll see what Brr says when they test them. I’ll go back to gp’s when these wear out.

    Dave, how does the Occam strap damage the paint of the bike? Exposed BOA straps look like a recipe for damaged pain. Also the only suspension seat post that works is the Ergon/Canyon VCLS. It flexes the whole seatpost back and forth, the seat height remaining unchanged.

      I've not found it to damage the paint, the strap is covered in a soft material that so far hasn't left a mark on any bike it's been used on, but I can see people's concerns. I have the new Ergon post in for review as well so watch out for that. Agree it's a very good solution for adding more comfort without a lot of extra weight

      Thank you, Dave -- looking forward to that review! I place 3M stickers where the hoses rub the frame - these would help there too. Gravel and MTB bikes are to be used, not put in frame on the wall.

      I didn't use the post at the HONC but after riding over those ploughed fields I wish I had! Don't know my official time but Strava says 4:42. Were you riding?

      I'm impressed with that! I've done it on every sort of bike, mountain bike was probably the comfiest and cyclocross the toughest, but the conditions and course have changed a lot over the years. I found this year's course much tougher than last year's

    You are comparing wrong Corsas, Corsa speed is one of the fastest availible, the comparable cotton one is G2.0

      Define better. I personally hate the Conti range of tires because their feeling. They completely lack any form of subtileness to it, which I just really dislike.
      It is a persnal preference thing.

      As said above above /below define better. Its quite supple tier and supple tyres on steel drums are penalised a little in the results as they deform around the drum leading to a bit more friction than there otherwise would be . I’ve used the the conti and these back to back and the Vittorias conform to the road far better enabling me to glide along at pace better lead to high averages . The contis are a fight to keep at speed when the road surface get rough.
      A better review that David could have quoted was bike radars review and in real world testing there was very very little to separate them.
      From a personal perspective the Vittorias haven’t slowed me down at all, in fact I’m getting higher averages and I’m still getting pr’s which to me means they’re up there with the best. Just pick you poison

      Vittoria by a good long shot or Michelin Power cups though if you have really wide rims like mine (32mm outer width) you may damage the side walls on the power cups and they also come up well over stated size 25c will come up 29mm on a 19mm internal rim. Vittorias N,ext on my 22.5 ID rim come up at 29mm at 65 psi.

    Continental GP5000 is the best and cheapest tire ever! I see NO sense in buying another tire brand which is trying desperately to keep up with the Continentals. Save your time!

      Then id say you're missing out. cheapest? 75quid is not cheap! for the STR version. One of the reasons i still use tube type. The Vittoria tube type matches the tube type Conti for speed and betters them in many areas. I'm getting higher averages and Pr's are still coming thick and fast, they hold their speed better and i can hold the line with more confidence to. On the cobbles, the Vittoria's are hands down better in every way. Make no mistake these new Vittoria's are great tiers. If I want really fast i'd take the Vittoria Corsa speed for race day.

      I'm running gp5ks currently clincher and having corsas before I'd say they are very well matched. The corsas did have more grip through corners but also held back on top end speed. Personal factor is the corsas look so nice with a tan wall

    Vittoria tyres corsa they get detached. The glue is really bad I would not recommend them.

    I see you do not know how to fold a tube! There is a video that teaches you to fold it extremely small and rubber safe! Doing so, it will fit in your saddle bag along with a small pump, patches, two levers, valve adaptors, and a small park tool multi tool! Everything you will ever need. So, this external tube holder is not only ugly, but also not aero at all! Bad tip, sorry!
