I always loved watching the Special Features for TASM1 because it made me go deeper into the story seeing all this. Honestly, probably my favorite Spider-Man movie.
Don't blame them, from what i remember it was one man who was responsible for ruining spiderman 3 and also the tasm franchise, i can't remember who it was, it's at the tip of my tounge.
That would be cool for someone to make like a fan edit of all these deleted scenes, edited together. kind of like what some people been doing with the Kenobi show in Boba Fett show, turning them into movies.
Problem is there would be huge gaps in the plot like for example when peter takes Connor from the bathroom there was obviously meant to be something more after that but we've never got to see it.

This is probably easier for him to do because he actually worked on a show for Star Wars. he also could’ve had some of the costumes. I think he could do it. I’m not sure if he’s a marvel fan or not. there was also a guy on RUclips that made a fan made post credit scene of Andrew Garfield, returning to his universe. Afternoon way home.
Marvel missed a golden opportunity to release the Webb cut in theaters. I guess it's up to us to give Andrew his true justice. Still the best Spider-Man.

I've also seen some extra clips from that car theif scene where peter/Spider-man essentially made more funny web stuff happen to torment the guy, like at one point he makes a web baseball and does the pitcher throw 😆

From my understanding, the trailer for the movie was poorly received by fans due to the "Untold Story" the movie was marketing, so the film was completely changed, and the whole finding the truth about Peter's parents subplot was moved to the sequel. I don't know whether to blame Sony, Avi Arad like everyone does or Marc Webb himself. Because the original Uncle Ben death scene was changed by Marc Webb himself. He claimed on the behind the scenes and commentary that he wasn't a fan of the original version, feeling it wasn't well shot or executed and wanted Ben to die while stopping someone. (So yeah, we can blame Webb for that.) Also, remember how in the movie, The Lizard turned a lot of people into other lizard people? But then the next time we see them, they're just on the ground, beaten. Like we had lizard cops! How could not make that memorable!?! Well that's because there was concept art online that showed them attacking civilians in the streets while behind the scenes footage showed random people crashing and looting the city because the cops are too busy on the mutated cops, chasing Spider-Man and Dr. Conners. And from an animatic of Spider-Man swinging in the crain, he would've swung lower to the street and web up the lizard cops. Causing everyone to cheer for Spider-Man as he reaches Oscorp. There would've also been a moment where Jack sees Spider-Man swing by his window and he smiles.
You've barely touched the surface, there are so many good scenes that were unfortunately replaced by bad ones or outright cut, it's a shame you forgot about martha connors, the extended training scene, the lizard invasion scene and many more scenes.

@@guccigang6125 now i remember!! there was this RUclipsr called "amazing beetle boy" who uploaded so many deleted/alternative/previs scenes from the amazing spider-man 1, RUclips has unfortunately terminated his channel. I used most of his footage for my fan cut, its 2 hours and 44 minutes, despite that long runtime there are still even more deleted scenes that unfortunately never saw the light of day.
If I had to guess maybe that scene at the school where he seems to help Connors escape would lead into that scene with them both in his lair. Connors maybe feigning some kind've innocents and telling Peter if he helps him at his lab he can cure himself and stop the lizard from taking him over. Only to reveal he was using Peter to help make more formula he can use to remain a lizard and then turn others. Just my guess for what those scenes could've been.
In some of the trailers, Irfan's character talks to peter about what he has become and says that it wasnt an accident. So it seems like he played a much bigger part in the movie than the final cut
well that bathroom scene is creepy because those are teenage girls lol but everything else seemed like they really could have made a better movie with it
Touching the surface of the iceberg I made a cut and it reached 3 hours! (just 1 more hour away of supposedly unknown footage, making it the entire footage 4 hours in total)
This would've made people probably enjoy tasm and actually made it worth continuing besides the weird licking shit. If you think abt it This would've prob made Andrews peter last way longer and tom not even happen
