It doesn’t affect the plant, just make sure the glue is not too hot, and it is applied on the dead woody parts of the plant. Been doing it for years now, not a single plant died. Thanks. Happy Gardening
It looks so nice....the hot glue won't damage the plants? I bought an air plant from a store, and they used hot glue to glue the plants into shells. To make them look like jellyfish......but they died every time. And they stopped selling them after awhile lol. I'm guessing they weren't doing well like that
Hii.. when using hot glue, I use a low watt glue gun like 25w. Moreover you don’t need to heat it up to full, just start using when the glue start to ooze out. And lastly air plants are not harmed with hot glue also because the lower part is mostly dry and dead. Fine thread like roots will eventually develop and grip on the media where you intend to plant it. All the best . Happy Gardening 😊
