SEPTEMBER....absolutely the #1 always with everyone who has ever heard it! When I'm having a horrible day I put September on and suddenly I'm bopping and cheerful.
my list: 10: I Feel Good (James Brown) 9: Walking On Sunshine (Katrina And The Waves) 8: Hakuna Matata (Tamone And Pumba from The Lion King) 7: Livin In The Sunlight Lovin In The Moonlight (Tiny Tim) 6: I’m Still Standing (Elton John) 5: Don’t Worry Be Happy ( Bobby McFerrin) 4: It’s A Beautiful Day In The Neighborhood (Fred Rogers from Mr Rogers Neighborhood) 3: It’s Such A Good Feeling (Fred Rogers from Mr Rogers Neighborhood) 2: Here Comes The Sun (The Beatles) 1: Don’t Stop Me Now (Queen)
Here are some other classic songs that should be included: - _Don’t Stop_ by Fleetwood Mac - _I Feel Fine_ by The Beatles - _You can’t always get what you want_ by The Rolling Stones - _You make me feel_ by Aretha Franklin - _I’ll be there_ by The Jackson 5 - _Friday I’m in Love_ by The Cure - _Hurts so Good_ by John Mellencamp - _Baby I love your way_ by Big Mountain - _Jump_ by Van Halen
When my nephew was 5 YO he was in the car seat in my car and uptown funk came on so I cranked it up. I kept checking the review mirror for a reaction. He just sat there still with his eyes wide meanwhile I was singing along. As soon as it was over he put his hands out in an emphatic gesture and said, “THAT. WAS. AWESOME!”
I have a few songs that always lift my spirits, but one song that never fails to lift my spirits is Daydream Believer by the Monkees; I don't care if they didn't play their own instruments or wrote their own songs, it's impossible to feel down when that song is on. Pretty hard to feel down when Georgy Girl by the Seekers comes on either. Or Ring of Fire; it's just so upbeat in rhythm, I can't stop myself from turning it up and singing along when it pops up. I often feel down so I look for songs to cheer me up, thanks for a few new ones and the name of one that I liked, but could never remember the name of when I got home.
Build me up Buttercup by the Foundations should be on here. It is one of the only songs you can start singing out loud and pretty much wherever you are people will join in. Its infectious in the best possible way.
"Dancing Queen" was my sorority's song. Every single time I hear it I'm reminded of that joy of being 18 and unabashedly loved. Makes me happy every time.!!
Missing ones IMHO - Don't Stop Me Now - Fly Me To The Moon - In My Life - My Way - Oob-La-Di, Oob-La-Da - Raindrops Keep Falling On My Head - Turn! Turn! Turn! - What A Wonderful World
One of the things I will never listen to again without raging. Why? Not only did I hear "trolls" make certain genre look bad, but my dad listened to it literally over 1000 times ever since I was born. When he saw my rushes of adrenaline, he finally stopped! Because my fists scrunched up too! It was just so annoying. Trolls is the reason too.
OK...Just a disclaimer. I"m a hardcore classic R&R fanatic. But how do you leave out "September" by Earth, Wind & Fire? Are you kidding me? Even I can't help but get up and dance around the kitchen to that song! Always play it for my kids when they come home from school in a bad mood. Makes all of us smile and dance!!!
Yessir!!! "September," "Celebration-Kool & the Gang." Don't know about the message but hard to sit thru "Billy Jean." THis was almost an impossible list to be limited to ten songs
😏 "My Girl" will always have a special place in my heart. I was a slightly socially awkward sophomore in high school, partnered with a guy of the same ilk, to compete in a school social dance competition. He was awkward and seemingly two feet taller than I, and we didn't really know one another. We chose to waltz to "My Girl," and I thought we did okay... We both did pretty darned well - we got 2nd place, and a fancy ribbon to wear... 😃 I know, not that big a deal, and so sentimental, 🙄 but I think of him every time I hear that song. 💕
"I want you back" is the song that made me smile the most :D. Because, it makes us remmeber the sweet little michael and his beautiful and lovely voice that evolutionised Music forever. Rest in peace, The King Of Pop. 😭
My top 10 would be 10: The boys are back in town. (Thin Lizzy) 9: I'm a believer (The Monkees) 8: Wonderful World (Sam cooke) 7: Obladi Oblada (The beatles) 6: Summer of 69 (Bryan Adams) 5: Let your love Flow (The Bellamy Brothers) 4: Here comes the sun (The Beatles) 3: We didn't start the fire (Billy Joel) 2: I'm walking on Sunshine (Katrina and the waves) 1: Rocking all over the world (Status Quo)
Is it weird that two of those songs...'Wouldn't it be Nice' and 'Here Comes the Sun' almost always get a tear from me? Something about them always makes me sad. The promise of something that hasn't and may not ever happen perhaps? Maybe just their beauty in the face of the everyday humdrum things in front of us all? I don't know. They are both brilliant. Good list.
John Flanagan: Happy by Pharrell Williams also does that for me. Maybe for the same reason? It's almost bittersweet in its happiness. Or maybe people in reality will never be that happy and that thought just makes me sad? Here Comes The Sun kinda does the same thing. But that song to me just seems the definition of bittersweet.
Don't stop me now is the happiest one I have to walk for approx 6km on a mountain(trekking) then i played this song frequently and I don't know when did i completed my journey! Thanks QUEEN for such a soothing song❤️
thumbs up because 'don't stop me now' isn't just music; it's a gazillion-mile-an-hour rocket-ship made out of cocaine, sunshine, and the most intense erection you've ever had, headed on a crash course for a planet made entirely out of orgasms and more cocaine. (it's a good song).
How about Louis Armstrong's "What a Wonderful World," Mungo Jerry's "In the Summertime," Bobby McFerrin's "Don't Worry Be Happy," George Harrison's "I Got My Mind Set On You," Harry Belafonte's "Banana Boat Song (Day-o)," REM "Happy Shiny People," or Harry Nilsson's "Coconut." All songs which make me smile.
In the summertime when the weather is hot, you can stretch right up and touch the sky. When the weather's fine, you got women, you got women on your mind. Have a drink, have a drive go out and see what you can find. I love it! hahaha
Just scrolling on the comments and wonder What a Wonderful World by Louis Armstrong is never mentioned. Whenever I hear the song, the vibes of positivity and soothing feelimg of bright sunny sunday afternoon emerges.. and when the song ends, you will automatically smile, feel relaxed and happy 😁
@Jordan - You'd have to ask George. I remember when George banned Eric Clapton from his life forever because Eric screwed George's wife, after which she divorced George and married Eric. And George never spoke to either of them again........>Oh wait George never reacted that way
I had to LOL at your comment because I've been hearing Mr. Blue Sky since I was a teen and now, no matter what, Guardians of the Galaxy, come immediately to my brain.
@@djtoona are you aware that there are only 16 notes in music's basic scale? Out of those 16 simple notes, we've had some of the most incredible music ever made; however, sometimes we borrow because if we don't, we end up with nothing new. Mozart became folk music in the 60s. And where's Mungo Jerry "In The Summertime?" That's the only other song that can compete in happiness with Queen's "Don't Stop Me Now"...and neither one on here
Roll with the Changes by REO Speedwagon is my #1 pick me up out of depression song. My mom passed in 2003 and when I am missing her to the point of crying, I put on Roll with the Changes and soon I'm singing and dancing.
10. Come On Eileen by Dexy's Midnight Runners 9. Here Comes The Sun by The Beatles 8. Walking On Sunshine by Katrina and The Waves 7. Looking Out My Back Door by Creedence Clearwater Revival 6. Dancing Queen by ABBA 5. What A Wonderful World by Louis Armstrong 4. Little Wing by The Jimi Hendrix Experience 3. Mr. Blue Sky by Electric Light Orchestra 2. Glory Days by Bruce Springsteen 1. Walk Of Life by Dire Straits
***** Everyone ''likes'' WatchMojo that's why they get all these views but we all know we want to punch the (both) narrators with a burrito. And we also hate WatchMojo personally maybe for stuff they said. (don't get me started)
I feel good with these songs: - What a Difference a Day Makes (Dinah Washington); - Can't stop this feeling (Justin Timberlake); - Shinny Happy People (REM); - Allright (Supergrass)
I always liked Lionel Richie's song "All Night Long", since I saw him (on TV, not in person) do it as the last song in the Closing Ceremonies at the Los Angeles Olympics in '84.

Off the top of my head: The Drifters - Up on the Roof The Drifters - Under the Boardwalk Harry Belafonte - Jump in the Line UB40 - Kingston Town Simon and Garfunkel - 42nd Street Simon and Garfunkel - A Hazy Shade of Winter CCR - Down on the Corner Billy Joel - My Life Chuck Berry - Johnny B. Soon as I saw the category I felt like "Here Comes the Sun" belonged on this list! Wish that "California Dreanin" would have made it too but all in all not a bad list!
Totally agree with #1. I would sing this to my youngest baby girl when she was a newborn, and she knows it’s “her song.” Hug your children, folks, they grow up so fast! ♥️♥️
ok my list of feel good songs that make me happy is: -sir duke -what a fool believes -dont stop me now -baker street -im still standing -boogie wonderland -piano man -my love is your love -always be my baby -black or white -castle on the hill -cant take my eyes off of you(lauryn hill) -you make my dreams come true
A few songs that could have easily made this list: Footloose, Don't Stop Me Now, Sweet Caroline, Celebration, Hakuna Matata, Don't Worry Be Happy, the Locomotion. Or what about "Friend Like Me" by Robin Williams on the Aladdin soundtrack.
The Beach Boys’ “Wouldn’t It Be Nice” though lovely and sweet just breaks my heart and makes me very sad every single time... my eyes are watering just as I write this... sigh. 😔💔🥺
"You make me wanna shout" by the Isley Brothers. And also sung by Little Richard, The Ronettes, Lulu, "Otis Day and the Knights" and many more. There´s even an awsome live version by The Beatles you can find in YT. Impossible any more upbeat.
+Mercury Official sure, but if you can't understand the joy people get from powerful songs that could be considered "depressing" than you need to think about it more my friend. I mean a good example is the wall by pink Floyd, it's pretty depressing, yet its brought joy to millions.
Konrad Klys i don't know what it's got to do with this. I'm laughing at the fact that people can't enjoy happy songs because they're "overplayed" or have "bad lyrics" or shit like that. I quite don't enjoy Pink Floyd much (unless I'm on drugs. Then it's garden of eden for me) but I understand why people like it so much. Why other people doesn't do that with songs they consider 'shitty'? They think that just because they don't like nobody should. I hate country music but i don't go comment in country videos "this is shit" I just ignore it. As mature people do
Where is Jackie Wilson’s “Your Love (Is Lifting Me Higher)”?! That song is so joyful it even made a toaster dance in Ghostbusters 2. I think you need another list.
Nice list but songs that always make me happy : Sweet Caroline - Neil Dimond Seven nations army - The white stripes Beautiful day - U2 Viva la vida - Coldplay
IMO: Don't Stop Believin' by Journey should be #1. Whenever I play it at a show, everyone sings--dramatically. It's a song that makes the rest of your world pause and leaves you inspired.
my own list: Don't Stop Me Now - Queen '39 - Queen Tutti Frutti - Queen I Want To Break Free - Queen I'm In Love With My Car - Queen Cool Cat - Queen Dancer - Queen Radio Ga Ga - Queen Delilah - Queen Another One Bites The Dust - Queen yeah, ik. i'm BIG fan for Queen
Good Vibrations is a better choice and, at the Beach Boys concert I attended several hundred years ago, it lasted 20 minutes with the entire audience singing along.
For me because "Happy" has low quality voices (at least compared to songs from before 2000) but still is a big hit. Then only later I realized it was the theme song of a movie in which it fitted perfectly.
Yeah. I love Bohemian Rhapsody but it is in no way a happy song. The ending is mordantly depressing. "Nothing really matters Anyone can see. Nothing really matters To me. (Anyway the wind blows...)" Not sure how that could be construed as happy.
Yeah sure some have but not in large numbers like there were back then. The people who made this list aren’t even that old. Late 20s to early 30s at least.
How about Alexia's" Happy" , BJ Thomas" "Raindrops Keep Falling on My Head, Venga Boys' " Sha la la in the Morning" and the iconic "Top of the World"and "Sweet, Sweet Smile" by the Carpenters
I vote for "What a Wonderful World" by the legendary Louis Armstrong!
Me too!!
That song makes me sad and happy at the same time

SEPTEMBER....absolutely the #1 always with everyone who has ever heard it! When I'm having a horrible day I put September on and suddenly I'm bopping and cheerful.
I agree, September is a great song, also "Celebrate" by Kool and the gang, and "Baby give it up" by KC and the sunshine band.

Irony at its finest
Same!!
There's not "Don't Stop Me Now" by Queen even though it is sciencifically the happiest song ever.
Happiness Is subjective
Kinda mad about that ngl
I literally listen to that song when I’m stressed, sad, or anxious to help me feel happier and calm down.
Where's the proof?
AquaStar TV just look it up. There’s your proof.
WAS. AWESOME!”
No "Don't Stop Me Now" by Queen?
YAS! AND IT FILLS YOU WITH ENERGY, TOO! 😃
Yeah
Yeah or You're My Best Friend should've made the list.
Yeah unfortunately there was no queen but instead there was the *sigh beatles
that's sad
Love that "Mr. Blue Sky" is on this list! Every time I hear it, I now have an image of baby Groot dancing to it in "Guardians of the Galaxy, Vol 2"
agreed!! the best version with an incredible chorus: ruclips.net/video/lwieax61Fh0/видео.html
🤣🤣🤣🤣 what a reminder of something that makes EVERYONE LAUGH!!!!
Anything by Abba pretty much puts me in a great mood. That is just some of the most beautiful pop music ever written
I agree!
Yes
And that includes their sad songs. You'll know you've hit peak ABBA when you're dancing with tears in your eyes!
I have a few songs that always lift my spirits, but one song that never fails to lift my spirits is Daydream Believer by the Monkees; I don't care if they didn't play their own instruments or wrote their own songs, it's impossible to feel down when that song is on. Patrico at my school it’s we are the champions not build me up buttercup
Ditto
Bon Scott of AC/DC was is that band as a back up singer . Watch the video and you will see him singing and dancing
Patrico Was
Patrico + I agree. Love that song!
September-Earth Wind and Fire. this song always makes me smile
Both very good choices.. I also love Hollywood Swinging by Kool & The Gang, such a good groove!!!
Good song very up beat and wonderful to dance to, I don't think I've ever been to a end of year celebration without hearing that song.
I Lost My Voice:(:(:(:(
same :)
P
"Dancing Queen" was my sorority's song. Every single time I hear it I'm reminded of that joy of being 18 and unabashedly loved. Makes me happy every time.!!

Totally!
Missing ones IMHO
- Don't Stop Me Now
- Fly Me To The Moon
- In My Life
- My Way
- Oob-La-Di, Oob-La-Da
- Raindrops Keep Falling On My Head
- Turn! Turn! Turn!
- What A Wonderful World

Don't Stop Me Now (Queen) ??
YASSSSS
+NaderR Had the SAME EXACT thought
Where is QUEEN???
You sir deserve a medal
+NaderR and Stayin' Alive
no. My Girl deserves #1
"Celebration" by Kool & The Gang, "Groove Is In The Heart" by Dee-Lite, "Love Shack" by the B-52s.
I was thinking the same. How can anyone forget Celebration ???!!!
RIGHT! RIGHT!
@@marcoshering139 Check out their list of Another TOp 10 That WIll Always Make You Smile.
there is another list called another top 10 song that will aways make you smile maybe you should check it out
Celebration is great but they should use the Ross Gellar version.
Raise your glass if you you think KC and the sunshine band should of got some recognition here!
September? Earth, Wind &Fire? Hellooooooo!!!
Definitely.
Finally a man of quality
ikr

You helped me figure out my #1. September. Yes.
Yo IKR IT'S MY FAV SONG
You don't have to say you like ... to like ... I like E,W&F and I also love Public Enemy and Slayer.
Yessir!!! "September," "Celebration-Kool & the Gang." Don't know about the message but hard to sit thru "Billy Jean." THis was almost an impossible list to be limited to ten songs
Absolutely on my list!!!!!!!
"Come and Get Your Love" - Redbone
"Iko Iko"- Belle Stars
"Sugar Sugar"- the Archies
Beth Marsh Yeah! That Redbone
Come and get your love is awsome!! Love their video 💕💕
"Sugar Sugar " absolutely love this song

9: I'm a believer (The Monkees)
8: Wonderful World (Sam cooke)
7: Obladi Oblada (The beatles)
6: Summer of 69 (Bryan Adams)
5: Let your love Flow (The Bellamy Brothers)
4: Here comes the sun (The Beatles)
3: We didn't start the fire (Billy Joel)
2: I'm walking on Sunshine (Katrina and the waves)
1: Rocking all over the world (Status Quo)
#3. 💛
Number 7 is actually called Life Goes On by The Beatles.
Just saying...
I always smile when I hear Girls Just Wanna Have Fun (Cindi Lauper)
Yes because "We Didn't Start the Fire" just makes me smile. Such a nice, happy song
Thin Lizzie!!
"Here Comes the Sun" is one of my favourite songs of all times.
Happy Together by The Turtles. A classic song that always seems to be overlooked on the music lists.
I can't listen to "Happy Together" without following it with "Elenore"
Is it weird that two of those songs...'Wouldn't it be Nice' and 'Here Comes the Sun' almost always get a tear from me? Something about them always makes me sad. The promise of something that hasn't and may not ever happen perhaps? Maybe just their beauty in the face of the everyday humdrum things in front of us all? I don't know. They are both brilliant. John Flanagan same
John Flanagan: Happy by Pharrell Williams also does that for me.
Maybe for the same reason?
It's almost bittersweet in its happiness.
Or maybe people in reality will never be that happy and that thought just makes me sad?
Here Comes The Sun kinda does the same thing.
But that song to me just seems the definition of bittersweet.
>"In the Summertime"
Mungo Jerry (a.k.a. Ray/Raymond Dorset)
>Todd Rundgren - Bang The Drum All Day
For starters
Michael Jackson, thank you for making us smile.
Don't stop me now is the happiest one
I have to walk for approx 6km on a mountain(trekking) then i played this song frequently and I don't know when did i completed my journey!
Thanks QUEEN for such a soothing song❤️
Sweet Home Alabama by Lynyrd Skynyrd, I wanna hold your hand by The Beatles and Don't stop me now by Queen.
thumbs up because 'don't stop me now' isn't just music; it's a gazillion-mile-an-hour rocket-ship made out of cocaine, sunshine, and the most intense erection you've ever had, headed on a crash course for a planet made entirely out of orgasms and more cocaine.
(it's a good song).
Those are all, like, the best songs ever wrote by man! I love Queen & The Beatles! (But the Beatles are better!))
Sunday in the park Chicago

Agreed. Sweet Home Alabama always makes me dance!
What a Wonderful World always makes me tear up... LoL 🤣
How about you just stop because no one fucking cares
Don't worry be happy makes me sad now because of Robin Williams!
In the summertime when the weather is hot, you can stretch right up and touch the sky. When the weather's fine, you got women, you got women on your mind. Have a drink, have a drive go out and see what you can find.
I love it! hahaha
SET ON YOU! I miss George
You totally missed Elton John's "I'm Still Standing".
Let's put "Already Gone" and "I Will Survive" right beside it.
(But I'm not sure these kind of songs should be on this list)
Shelly Robinson that song is very empowering but it’s not a feelgood song
omg yes this too
I want you back sounds like tonight tonight.
I think the better pick from Elton John would be “Bennie And The Jets.” Especially shrieking along at the end.
What a Wonderful World should be on this list. Not only gonna make you smile, but reminisce all of your life's experience: nostalgia.
As soon as I heard "Mr. Blue Sky" by Electric Light Orchestra it automatically made me think of Guardians of the Galaxy and Groot!!
I'm sure it makes Jeff Lynne happy whenever he can make money by re-using snippets of Beatles riffs.
@@djtoona Oh no!

And where's Mungo Jerry "In The Summertime?" That's the only other song that can compete in happiness with Queen's "Don't Stop Me Now"...and neither one on here
I'd say the number one should be "Happy Together" by the Turtles. But I'm quite happy with the top three of WatchMojo also.
Just 6 words: Luis Armstrong - It´s a beautiful World.
It's "What a Wonderful World", and you are right. It does make people happy.
That song actually makes me tear up a bit, but I still smile. It's a very beautiful song.
True dat
It makes me cry
That was my first dance song when I got married to my husband so yes, I agree!
Roll with the Changes by REO Speedwagon is my #1 pick me up out of depression song. My mom passed in 2003 and when I am missing her to the point of crying, I put on Roll with the Changes and soon I'm singing and dancing.
Agreed! Maybe they need a list of songs that you always turn up to full volume!
I'm So Excited - The Pointer Sisters is by far the happiest song to me
I remember all the song that made me happy
Love that song, you'd need to do a top 100 to capture all the best ones
My go to happy song is Good Morning Starshine. It lifts my spirits like no other tune.
The Pointer Sisters' "I'm So Excited" should have been mentioned.
10. Come On Eileen by Dexy's Midnight Runners
9. Here Comes The Sun by The Beatles
8. Walking On Sunshine by Katrina and The Waves
7. Looking Out My Back Door by Creedence Clearwater Revival
6. Dancing Queen by ABBA
5. What A Wonderful World by Louis Armstrong
4. Little Wing by The Jimi Hendrix Experience
3. Mr. Blue Sky by Electric Light Orchestra
2. Glory Days by Bruce Springsteen
1. Walk Of Life by Dire Straits
Allways look on the bright side of life is better than Dancing Queen.
i prefer your countdown than there's
Nah
***** Everyone ''likes'' WatchMojo that's why they get all these views but we all know we want to punch the (both) narrators with a burrito. And we also hate WatchMojo personally maybe for stuff they said. (don't get me started)
I love you for Dire Straits. My mom said I used to rock out to that in my car seat like a maniac every time it came on. :D I still love it.
Blue Suede "Hooked on a feeling"
Ooggga chuuckaa
dontsqueakthecat, YES!!!! I think you missed an "o" or two, though. To me it sounds more like "Oooga chaca"
Love that song! But I HATE the oooga chuugga...it just doesn't fit that tune. 🤣
Totally!!!!!
Too many people don't know that's a remake of a BJ Thomas tune. But, yes, that's my favorite version, Kimo Sabe. ;)
@@triciap1874 - I agree. I would like that song a lot more if it didn't start the way it does.
“I wanna hold your hand” by The Beatles!
Never fails to put a smile on my face!
If you like the Beatles, look up "Old Brown Shoe," it's a George tune, one of my favorites
I used to hate that song because it creeped me out for some reason. Haha. It is joyful.
I’m Still Standing. I mean literally the title makes you happy.
What a wonderful world - Louis Armstrong
And I say to myself what a wonderful song jajajajaja😊
That makes me cry.
not exactly what I think of a happy song
I love that song
Beautiful song
Don't Stop Me Now by Queen always makes me want to smile and dance
I feel good with these songs:
- What a Difference a Day Makes (Dinah Washington);
- Can't stop this feeling (Justin Timberlake);
- Shinny Happy People (REM);
- Allright (Supergrass)
I feel insulted that Queen's 'Don't Stop Me Now' isn't on this list.
Or Bohemian Rhapsody.. After Wayne's World I don't know anyone who can listen to it and not be happy headbanging fools.
this video wants to break free of the norms i guess
YES my words
Same. How rude. That song is guaranteed to make me feel good.
Omg! You’re so right!
i love these happy songs:
"Refuge" by John Legend
"what a wonderful world" by Louis Armstrong
"Santa Fe" by Beirut
"Declare Independence" by Björk
+Valérie Van Mol Declare Independence is excellent and What a Wonderful World is legendary.
I always liked Lionel Richie's song "All Night Long", since I saw him (on TV, not in person) do it as the last song in the Closing Ceremonies at the Los Angeles Olympics in '84.

Not so much here in southern Arizona.
@@salicemccool9186 the sun is coming to kill you haha
Where's Kool & the GANG Celebration and OutKast Hey Ya.
Yes! Celebration by Kool and the Gang is a fantastic song!
Hey ya is a depressing song with a happy sounding tune.
Hey Ya is NOT a happy song. Read the lyrics.
All the songs are fantastic, wonderful, happy, beautiful. We need more.....We need songs like these to help us get through this virus.
Off the top of my head:
The Drifters - Up on the Roof
The Drifters - Under the Boardwalk
Harry Belafonte - Jump in the Line
UB40 - Kingston Town
Simon and Garfunkel - 42nd Street
Simon and Garfunkel - A Hazy Shade of Winter

Soon as I saw the category I felt like "Here Comes the Sun" belonged on this list! Wish that "California Dreanin" would have made it too but all in all not a bad list!
Oh yeah, Peter Frampton's "Do You Feel Like We Do?" Even before I understood why they felt great I loved how this song made me feel!
California Dreaming makes me super sad for some reason haha
It makes me sad seeing how happy and cool Michael Jackson was when he was a kid, considering everything that happened to him later in life.
Riley Eldredge me too
Yet bruno the mj copy cat beat Jackson 5 and MJ i agree with the rest never understood why the media likes to crap all over mj
InsaneCallum Leave Michael ALONE
InsaneCallum Leave Michael alone but if u need the dig to make bruno look more talented I guess that’s ur problem
InsaneCallum whatever
Totally agree with #1. I would sing this to my youngest baby girl when she was a newborn, and she knows it’s “her song.” Hug your children, folks, they grow up so fast! ♥️♥️
"Don't stop me" -Queen
"Missing you" - All time low
+Sean Wilcox omg ATL yessss
+Himitsu Shi :D
Missing you makes me cry now that I saw a video.
Same!
Did you know that song has been scientifically proven to be the most feel good song? No joke lol
So many of these are bringing nostalgic tears.
happy ones.
Who agrees that the song “wake me up before u go “ should be top one but I agree with the one
ok my list of feel good songs that make me happy is:
-sir duke
-what a fool believes
-dont stop me now
-baker street
-im still standing
-boogie wonderland

An ad had the audacity to interrupt uptown funk
LOL!
Rick ding dong your opinion is wrong
Rick I love uptown funk it’s not junk
@@Rick-bc2ds its ok for you to not like Uptown Funk,it's just that you're living a lie😂🙊😂
😮
I agree with most of this, BUT I wish that OutKast's Hey Ya had at least received an honorable mention!
SO TRUE!!!
Bright cheery sound, super depressing lyrics. Not a happy song as all.
John Denver's "Thank God I'm a Country Boy" didn't even get an Honorable Mention? That ALWAYS makes me smile. And what about "YMCA"?
YMCA 1000%
A few songs that could have easily made this list: Footloose, Don't Stop Me Now, Sweet Caroline, Celebration, Hakuna Matata, Don't Worry Be Happy, the Locomotion. Or what about "Friend Like Me" by Robin Williams on the Aladdin soundtrack.
I believe #1 should be without a doubt in mind "what a wonderful world" by Luis Armstrong
yes x 1000. Bad list.
Sorry, that song makes me cry more than smile
the whole time i was watching this, i was expecting it to appear :)
yeah that song makes me cry. it aint.
Left off of both list's. Mind boggling
The Beach Boys’ “Wouldn’t It Be Nice” though lovely and sweet just breaks my heart and makes me very sad every single time... my eyes are watering just as I write this... sigh. 😔💔🥺
nine in the afternoon needs to be on this list
+Julia Becker Oh I love that song!
I'm such Panic! trash...I'd probably put all of their songs up their XD
+Julia Becker For sure
+Julia Becker it's afternooon!
+Julia Becker Thankfully the band they ripped off for sound and look on that song was on the list
"You make me wanna shout" by the Isley Brothers.
And also sung by Little Richard, The Ronettes, Lulu, "Otis Day and the Knights" and many more.
There´s even an awsome live version by The Beatles you can find in YT.
Impossible any more upbeat.
Staying alive by Bee Gees
YES
XD
Darn right.
PrinceErko ma favorite song ever
To be clear, the songs on this list, are for people who actually enjoy happiness and not lifeless assholes who search for bad things in songs, sorry
+Mercury Official I laughed at your comment. Thanks.
Wai Kean Ong you're welcome. Make other people laugh brings me happiness
I hate country music but i don't go comment in country videos "this is shit"
I just ignore it. As mature people do
I enjoyed pretty much all of these and knew all of them because most are classics, but "happy" is complete shit I'm sorry
Where is Jackie Wilson’s “Your Love (Is Lifting Me Higher)”?! That song is so joyful it even made a toaster dance in Ghostbusters 2. I think you need another list.
Sorry JA - I commented before I read yours.
I was expecting "never gunna give you up" to be on this list.
thats damn right
Does that make it a reverse Rick Roll?
Reading this made me smile.....so I think you're correct
Nice list but songs that always make me happy :
Sweet Caroline - Neil Dimond
Seven nations army - The white stripes
Beautiful day - U2
Viva la vida - Coldplay
Antonio Labaš sweet Caroline for sure!
Seven nations army for sure!
"Its the best day ever" by SpongeBob always make me smile and sing
Aggreee
Nitzan Anavi agreed
I can't press like multiple times. Just know you get my vote
are you on crack?
And the campfire song
Always look on the bright side of life, from Monty Python :D
yeees!
yes yes yes a thousand times yes
right on!
my hero
ColonelLanders even the fish slapping dance😏
IMO: Don't Stop Believin' by Journey should be #1. Whenever I play it at a show, everyone sings--dramatically. It's a song that makes the rest of your world pause and leaves you inspired.
my own list:
Don't Stop Me Now - Queen
'39 - Queen
Tutti Frutti - Queen
I Want To Break Free - Queen
I'm In Love With My Car - Queen
Cool Cat - Queen
Dancer - Queen
Radio Ga Ga - Queen
Delilah - Queen
Another One Bites The Dust - Queen
yeah, ik. i'm BIG fan for Queen
Go to my channel and look at “My Favourite Queen Songs” playlist to see my ones
I love your list - massive Queen fan here too
I somehow never considered „Wouldnt it be nice“ as a happy song, for me it always was melancholic.
Good Vibrations is a better choice and, at the Beach Boys concert I attended several hundred years ago, it lasted 20 minutes with the entire audience singing along.
When i was depressed i used to listen to it many times,It never sounded happy to me either
@@BubbaSmurft Nah. Great song, but if youre looking for happy-go-lucky, they have lots of better picks. Barbara Anne?
Exactly. A lot more "I wish i were happy" than an actual happy song.
@@robburg473 that sums it up well
Why do people hate 'Happy' so much? Is it because it's being played constantly everywhere or something else?
For me because "Happy" has low quality voices (at least compared to songs from before 2000) but still is a big hit. Then only later I realized it was the theme song of a movie in which it fitted perfectly.
"Because it's sappy!!!"
I like the song well enough, but it gave birth to "Tacky" by Weird Al which makes me smile way harder. 😂
what are u triing to say
if you're happy and you know it clap your hands... it's a bite
Uptown Funk is one of those songs that magically forces me to turn up the car stereo to maximum, like i'm listening to AC/DC or Queen
opposite for me. As soon as I hear it, I change the channel.
I'm Gonna Be (500 Miles) and Bohemian Rhapsody.
lurch321 maybe he means the last part or the middle part
Yeah. I love Bohemian Rhapsody but it is in no way a happy song.
The ending is mordantly depressing.
"Nothing really matters
Anyone can see.
Nothing really matters
To me.
(Anyway the wind blows...)"
Not sure how that could be construed as happy.
Bohemian rhapsody is my favourite song by far but not sure that it is much positive... scientifically, don’t stop me now is the most positive song
It's not bohemian rhapsody but there is Don't Stop Me Now by Queen also
Notice how 90% of the songs where before the 2000’s😳
@CodmPlayer yeah fax
@CodmPlayer yea
@CodmPlayer now full os sexual theme and racist and more
just makes me think the people who made this list are old. plenty of happy, upbeat songs have been made in the 21st century.
Yeah sure some have but not in large numbers like there were back then. The people who made this list aren’t even that old. Late 20s to early 30s at least.
Wake Me Up Before You Go Go!!!
Jan Jones cuz I’m not planning on going solo
@@jessvanes8278: Take me dancin tonite.
*Derek Zoolander: A Model Idiot?*
Is this summer time sadness lyrics?
How about Alexia's" Happy" , BJ Thomas" "Raindrops Keep Falling on My Head, Venga Boys' " Sha la la in the Morning" and the iconic "Top of the World"and "Sweet, Sweet Smile" by the Carpenters
Your honorable mentions made more sense. And where was Footloose by Kenny Loggins? It doesn't take much to make you smile.
That's my go to for depression. Can't help but move your feet when that song comes on! :-)
Agree!
I could see I'm alright
YMCA, Shout, Ladies Night, And Stay'in Alive, HAPPY SHOUT HAVE BEEN NUMBER 1
froze song
What about “The Lion Sleeps Tonight?” A-weem-a-wah!🦁
There is a documentary on Netflix right now about the original writer and performer of that song. It's very good
@@tiaturnbullchampionscoachi9587 no1 cares ya bitches!
You missed "Magic" by Pilot --- one of the happiest tunes ever! And "Sing" by The Carpenters.
