- St. Petersburg Police showed up at Michele Austin's condo in April with bad news. The officer informed told Austin that thieves stole her 2021 Kia SUV in the middle of the night. “I went outside, looked, the car was gone,” Austin said. Police told Austin two juveniles broke the steering column and took off on a joy ride that ended when they crashed into a fence in a Pinellas Park neighborhood. A home surveillance camera caught one of the suspects running from the scene.
Horrible for Kia owners such as myself. My insurance was canceled because of this. We need to do a class action suit against Kia!
We need to take action towards the insurance companies as well that denied kia owners

Just got my car back today after 6 weeks. They stole my car and the struggle I had to go through is not okay. If this update doesn’t work, I’m suing.
I just had someone try to steal my 2021 sportage last night. The update does work since they couldn't steal it. But unfortunately they caused thousands in damage trying to steal it.
How do you join this lawsuit?

The software does work as long as the alarm is activated. Someone attempted to steal my sportage and failed. Unfortunately they still causes thousands in damages trying to steal it. My cat didn't get stolen sure, but I'm still out my deductible, out my car for who knows how long and get to look forward to my increased rates....
Car insurances companies are charging so much now for these types of cars. Hyundai needs to buy back all those vehicles. Anyone trying to sell that car will take huge loss, plus the extra high rates to borrow for another car loan these days. My 6 month progressive policy renewal this YEAR went from 130 to 170. My new policy in Dec is jumping up to 230 per month... wtf! I call around but other Insurance places will not take my car due to the high risk from what they tell me. I have 2021 Hyundai Tucson, I can stay with Progressive but was told they are not talking any new Hyundai cars pretty much from 2020 to 2024. Yes my car was broken into, but the didn't take it
These crimes cost money to everyone. It is only fair that the criminal caught to pay it back or face a 20 yr no parole sentence. Lets see of this doesn't take care of it. These scholars need to learn the hardway. Not the softway that's in place now.

Imagine if that got stolen. Legend has it there was a story somewhere where a lady had her car stolen, then her dealer loaner car was stolen, then her replacement car that she ordered was stolen off the lot a few days before the pick up

This is a scandal. Last week my car was attempted stolen. I am not trusting any model of this manufacturer. People should hear about this. I wish I heard it before, so that I could take action.
