Space Station 13 is a game that you're not going to understand unless you play. It's not a game you can learn by watching or reading, and it is a game you certainly won't master in your first day, week or month. Space station 13 is one of the most insane experiences of my life, a game that has occupied my time for over a decade now. Space station 13 is the roguelike of roguelikes for me, the most wonderful piece of human created madness, and certainly on equal footing with dwarf fortress in terms of sheer complexity. Please join in as I embark again, for just another day on space station 13.

The reason i started watching you and not the other kids is because you're layed back and relaxed and you care about roleplaying instead of running around the whole time insulting people

I had plenty of Carson rounds where we won, but it was pretty much always a meat grinder in some way or another. Only one worse (and more fun) was Juro.

I too just watch storytelling games like rust, ss13, rim world and dwarf fortress. Now that I think about it i never play them myself. Weird huh
You see Mr. Tex this episode is perfect example for why we watch these episodes. I laughed more in first 20 minutes of this episode than all of this week combined. And it wasn't that awkward ha ha i made "funny" laughter either. My gut still hurts.

I've drifted in and out of watching SS13 stuff. I remember a few years ago watching videos on RUclips when I first became aware it existed (possibly even some of yours). For me it's a bit like dwarf fortress, which is to say an evergreen game.

I remember observing that round and I think around 41:00 ish when you sprayed so much fire one of the poor marines got mauled by a xeno because he either stepped on your fire, or didn't have anywhere to run :D . I think it was the guy you were dragging back a minute later. Fun stuff.

I've been spending a couple of months crunching through Tex's content, it's good shit, mostly for tex's soothing voice, enthusiasm, and stories. Occasionally he does something impressive that reminds me he's played this game for years! And he reads the wiki!

Its a nice low level mental noise that feels personable like an old friend you havent seen in awhile cause they hopped a train and became a hobo in highschool telling weird stories about their life. On the one hand you know its probably all bullshit but on the other the details are just so specific and bizzarre that theres gotta br some truth somewhere in there. I tried getting into SS13, but in my old age and decaying brain cells I find it too esoteric and complicated for me to wrap my mind around. Maybe I'm just doing it wrong or something, but then again I can't play HoI4 or Stellaris worth a shit either, so maybe I'm just retarded. I watch for the events and the oddness of it all, it's a strange place full of mysteries I wish to understand but am incapable of taking part in to fully grasp.
