- Wudang Bagua Zhang - Performed by Xiao Yun 肖云.
Wudang Bagua comes from Dragon Gate master Liu Cheng Xi 刘诚喜
Bagua Zhang (aka eight trigram palm) is based on the changes in Yin and Yang and the interaction among the 5 elements. It's moves are primarily circular, utilizing the palm. Its characteristics are swift, reacting to changes, combining soft and hard, and continuing without pause. Through its basic training, one would develop flexibility, speed and stamina and the strength of lower limbs would be greatly enhanced.

Air bending
If airbending is real
This guy is unbeatable
His skill, fluidity, and speed are exceptional. That's as good a Bagua performance as I've seen.
I’m glad you liked it! He is very graceful. His Taiji and some of his other styles are really impressive too.
Did you know?
Bagua style Kung Fu is the basis for developing the fictional power known as Airbending in the popular show Avatar The Last Airbender
-Haru Ren
Tai chi for airbenders, northern shaolin kung fu for firenation, hung dao for earth kingdom and bagua for southern & northern water tribe.

Lovely
Nice slippers.
Very beautiful and amazing! I hope I could have his level, one day. What's the name of the song, please?
I saw a couple of fireman carries in that form and other take downs. Lots of grappling.

No words to tell about his performance in English❤👏😍🙏
Calm down Neji
awesome
Thank you for sharing this beautiful style. You can see the dedication through his form and movement. 🙏
I'm glad you enjoyed it!
cool 👏👏👏👏
Thank you, very well.
Nice one. Is it supposed to be that fas or you just made it fastert? Comparing it to Jet Li's move in THE ONE he moved smoothly, elegantly. It looked sooo great even if he was just wearing a police uniform.
I'm glad you liked it! It's not sped up at all. Xiao Yun (the performer) is very fast.
@@DaWeiGongfu oooh. Thank you! I'm always a fan of Kung Fu. Nothing fasinates me as much as chinese martial-arts! May more continue the culture. This is a legacy passed on should never stop. More power, Kapamilya (Family).
Love it
This was so lovely to watch, thank you! ❤
Glad you enjoyed it!
Beautiful
I’m glad you enjoyed it!
Da Wei. Is this the same practitioner I filmed 5 years ago & recently posted? ruclips.net/video/5i5sHtqLrAA/видео.html If so what is is status now,? Instructor, disciple, 16th gen.?
That's correct. It was great to see him on your video (great videos on your channel by the way!).
His name is Xiao Yun - 肖云. He is now a 16th gen disciple and instructor. His English is pretty good, so I think he was teaching the foreign students for a while, but now he is the head coach and main instructor for the "Traditional" students, the Chinese kids that live and train at the school full-time for 5 years.
He is really good a Bagua, but I also love his Wuxing Quan and his Baxian jian and Taiji are amazing too.
Good to know! I will update my video with that info and give a nod to your channel and its useful & informative vids. 非常谢!
laufmi that’s great. Did you train at the school 5 years ago?
I study with another gongfu brother, Zhong XueChao, mostly in the U.S. I was there on a free day just to pay my respects and observe the performances.
@@laufmi I'm glad you got to see the performances at the school in Wudang! It's fun doing those on Thursday morning, but a bit nerve wracking! Zhong XueChao is Master Bing, correct? He seems like a great guy.
What's the name of this form?
8 trigams kung fu
Baguazhang. It is a form of the Wudang Dao curriculum. There is an other Daoist Kung Fu style called Baguazhang and this very form includes techniques borrowed from the brother-style, but enriched with original Wudang Dao techniques. There is also a form borrowed by the Baji Quan style in the Wudang curriculum, but in its way it is a unique form with a couple of techniques borrowed by the Baji Quan Kung Fu and also at least two forms borrowed by the Xing Yi Quan Kung Fu.
@@denshincantgiveashit6859 This is not a Baguazhang form. This is a Wudang Dao form with elements and footwork borrowed by its brother-style Baguazhang ( and it is therefore called Baguazhang ), but some unique Wudang techniques are implanted in it.
Looks very Pretty. Fluid movements, and graceful.I can see doing this for health Purposes. Not trying to sound disrespectful, but does this work in a real scenario.
Well, if you use knife or sword or trained iron palm, it will usefull in figthing
And you must aim your enemy weak point🙂
This one is going straight to the Favorites
I'm glad you like it! That guy is really good.

There's actually some take downs in that form. I saw at least two fire man carries.
