    Her name (AE whatever) is the hex code for her hair color. Same for Senpai RBC. Also she's not a sickle cell.

      Philip Robinson THANK YOU!

    • @martawoznialis8075
      @martawoznialis8075 4 года назад

      I think what they meant by her being a sickle cell was because of the one part of her hair that sticks out most of the time and is shaped like a sickle cell.
      Also another reason why ppl call her a sickle cell is because she gets lost nearly every single time

    • @backupaccountlol2895
      @backupaccountlol2895 4 года назад

      Sugerlump 36, unfortunately that’s not how sickle cells work. Sickle cells don’t get lost, they get stuck because they can’t squeeze through capillaries and they can’t carry nearly as much oxygen. AE isn’t a sickle cell because 1.We see her squeeze through super tight capillaries and 2.She was able to carry 3 maybe even 4 oxygen boxes during the hemorrhagic shock incident.

      @@backupaccountlol2895 ohhhh makes more sense . How about her little piece of hair that sticks out? It's certainly shaped like a sickle cell
      Btw thank you for answering

      Sugerlump 36 in an interview about the show with the creators, when asked about the design choices of characters, The cowlick hair was mentioned. That specific shape of a cowlick is also referred to as the “idiot hair” and is used to refer to ditzy/directionally challenged/air-headed character. AEs hair is just to show that she has a ditzy/ air-headed personally.

    I think chemo would be like a giant acid flood and radiation would be a nuke. And a bone marrow transplant would be replacing the “campus” with a new, better one. BTW I’ve had Leukemia 3 times so I was pretty miffed they didn’t show Chemo

    • @AnIdiotsLantern
      @AnIdiotsLantern 6 лет назад +4

      Thomas Molina damn dude! Glad you’re still with us! You must have some very stubborn hard-working cells. Congratulations.
      Chemo sounds like the sort of thing they might do in the “Cells at Work BLACK” manga, but then again maybe not. The human of BLACK is a smoker who drinks too much, doesn’t sleep enough and has high stress, and his poor health is portrayed as the result of the choices he makes.
      But imagine a later issue of BLACK which revisits the “cancer” episode but with a different ending. Rather then the immune system rallying to destroy the cancer, we see the treatments, like bone marrow transplants and chemo, which wipe out the infected tissue so it can regrow hopefully healthy. It would be devastating but also hopeful.
      The dude in BLACK really needs to start taking care of himself. A fight with cancer could be the wake up call he needs...

      @bananabread4127 6 лет назад +3

      Maybe cuz the host body didnt have high levels of cancer cells. I think it was about the defective cells people have everyday

    • @AnIdiotsLantern
      @AnIdiotsLantern 6 лет назад +4

      Probably that's it. We produce thousands of cancer cells a day, even healthy people. If your immune system is working, they usually get destroyed before they can make you sick. But obviously, that isn't always the case..

    I think RBC constantly gets lost so we, the viewers, can get to see different parts of the body in a more story like structure. You know, "once upon a time RBC got lost and etc etc...."

    Irl, Macrophages retain erythroblasts in bone marrow, controlling the final maturation of erythroblasts into reticulocytes and clearing old erythrocytes. They create little islands in the bone marrow for erythloids to mature 🥺.

    NK cells are the ones who first to react viruses and infected cells because they belong in the innate immune system attached to the cell and cell shrinks killer cells or the second one to react to infected cells and virus and they are the backup of the nk cells they also attached to tumor cells and infected cells but instead the infected or tumor cell divide apart and the killer cell is from the adaptive immune system

      Vanessa White when you mentioned it, I realised it’s a subconscious thing some of us do when we talk to someone. For some reason it feels wrong to me not to twist my head towards others when I’m talking to them, not sure why.
