    Washing the car inside the garage will be a game changer when summer comes along

      This is major facts. Especially in the blazing hot summer days.

      @@TheDailyDriven Curious do you have a drain in the garage? Are you just washing the car with the trax on the unfinished floor and just letting it dry out through the floor water lines?

    It’s always been a dream of mine to have my garage set up so I can work on my car AND wash and detail it in the garage.
    It sounds weird but I won’t have to worry about the heat, or the sun drying the water leaving water spots before I can get so some panels. I won’t need to wait for a nice day or worry about rain. I won’t have to only utilise a small window of the day, I could wash it under lights Saturday night with a beer or two.
    I could even close the garage door and have the AC on in summer and the heat on in winter…

    You should add a MAD Car care tip holder to that active gun! Will make your life easier!

    You should also do a side mounted garage door opener while you're changing the lighting.

      Was thinking about this later down the road and definitely something a bit quieter.

    Can you post links to your wash setup?

    First time viewer here, and a very good video and relaxing to listen to! :)
    How is the noise level of the Active 2.0? Is it deafening high pitch as it sounds like? or just the microphone picking it up and increasing it?

    Could you share a link for your exhaust tips?

    I really enjoyed the wash and talk, speaking of OG, it's a shame he didn't get behind his "purple pig nose" 50 jahre edition, would have loved to see more content about it

      Agreed. I think we all would have liked to see the direction he would have went with more mods.

    Hard to tell from videos but I think Imola Red looks amazing. I don't like Toronto Red because it looks really orange sometimes. Do you notice any orange with Imola Red in certain lighting?

    • @TheDailyDriven
      @TheDailyDriven  6 часов назад +1

      I don’t really notice any orange in the bright sun. It’s definitely one of bmw reds that’s a true red. Toronto red should be renamed to Toronto orange lol

    Im going to be 27 this year I feel lost, hate my job (kills me physically), I drive a reliable 07 accord but would love to get a m3 one day, but this year I'm making a change, also right now trying to learn to code maybe I find a better job.

    Garage have a drain or no?

    • @TheDailyDriven
      @TheDailyDriven  13 дней назад

      No drain but most garages have an egress that slopes. The water in my garage comes out towards the driveway. I also use a dehumidifier just in case.

    Is there a reason why you open the gas cap when washing the car?

    • @t-rex7796
      @t-rex7796 15 дней назад

      When washing a car, water can sit behind a gas cap, and after drying, little bits run down. You dry that, and 5 minutes later more water can run down the side of your car.
      By opening the gas cover you allow all the water to run out and not be trapped

    This is a dream! For us in Europe it will never be allowed to wash your car at home :/

    I don’t like that black plastic lip right behind the rear tires! It would look so much more aggressive if the rear tires were more exposed like the f80. Bmw screwed up on that one!

    That pressure washer is loud as hell, it’s time for a Kranzle.

    • @TheDailyDriven
      @TheDailyDriven  15 дней назад

      Yeah that’s one of the downsides of it. It’s definitely not quiet.

    • @PeeGee-g4t

      There are others besides Kranzle that are quiet. Something like ar630 is quiet too and has better output than Kranzle

    Where does all the dirt go? under the flooring. Sorry, but its like taking a shower and leaving your underwear on. sooner or later you have to wash everything. :)

    • @TheDailyDriven
      @TheDailyDriven  16 дней назад

      In the video I mention there are channels underneath the tile. This helps push the water and dirt down towards the driveway.

      You can vacuum the floor. It’s really not that big of a deal
