I just adore your sardonic sarcasm, Sir. I have recently stumbled upon your channel. Often you make me explode with laughter from some of your wit. I also will be using your channel regarding cruising possibilities. Please never loose your sense of humour! 😊
Hi. That's fantastic to hear, wishing you an amazing time. And the QM2 has had a dry dock in the past 2 months, and some nice refurbishments, and looking even more elegant than ever!
What a wonderful video! Clicked on it coincidentally and it's my favorite Queen Mary video I've seen. Feels exactly like those fun long travel advertisements from the 50s, just perfect!
I thought for a moment that I spotted a lady taking afternoon tea in the Queen's Room in a 'hoodie'. I can only believe that my eyes were deceiving me for surely the only honourable course for a Cunard captain in this situation would be to set course for the nearest iceberg and erase the lingering disgrace. Greatly enjoyed the trip report, you are a great match for showing the QM2 off to non-cruisers because you are somewhat of this tribe of brits but also detached enough from them not to take it entirely seriously either!
Had a lovely time on QE been home 2 weeks booked for December your advise regarding Gala nights wete spot on we didnt go to Nth Queensland but to Adelaide Sth Aus because of Cuclone too the plunge and booked QA for Feb 25 from Sydney.
Hi Diana, lovely to hear back from you. So glad to read that your cruise went well on Queen Elizabeth. Very exciting that you have booked Queen Anne. A new ship... and new adventures to be had!
Hello, I'm curious since I didn't find an answer on your RUclips channel : have you ever taken a cruise on one of the Ponant ships? I would appreciate hearing your perspective.
Was incredibly cheap (as was organised last minute because the QM2 had a fault that resulted in a cancelled transatlantic). Was about 25% of the price per cabin per night that other cruises cost. No wonder it sold out very quickly. Not sure I could have put up with all that excessive flag waving though....

Have they ever filmed A DOCTOR WHO episode on board?
I don't believe so? Anyone who knows different, please feel free to jump in!
Sitting here watching from Australia I loved every minute of the video. Wonderful to see so many people proud of their country and heritage.
Hi there, many thanks for your comment. It was one of the most popular Cruises that Cunard put on all year. Sold out in 48 hours.

Cunard owes you a salute because since cruising your channel, we've booked on the QM2 for next year.

A lovely video. I wish I could have been on this cruise. Thank you for sharing.
It was very special cruise, and beautifully captured the Coronation spirit!
I enjoyed this very much! Thank you!

Hi, glad you enjoyed the video! Had there been a lady in a hoodie I'm sure the staff would have locked her in the broom cupboard!
Wonderful trip...
Yes it was, very memorable indeed. Many thanks for your comment
In April I was supposed to do the Transatlantic but she broke down. Trying again in October this year
Have a fantastic crossing in October

Proud to be British ❤
I know I would be if I was there - and I am not even British 😊
🤣 Ha ha. Love that comment, and the sentiment 🙂
My husband wants to know if you attend Thunderers ? Asking from Canada
What's that?!
@@ritzytravelguide it is a British dining club. Your pocket square was the same pattern they use
I've not been there, is it good?!
They don't do elegant napkin folding anymore? Those napkin rolls make you feel like you are in a bistro.
I feel we should have a strong word with the Maitre D!!
Love wife's dress for the gala night. Punching above your weight there. Lol
Have been for years!
Coronated?
It's caused some debate, me saying this ! I thought it was a word... but there seems to be some question mark over it!
Just here to spot my Mum in the background
Was she smiling?!
@@ritzytravelguide always
Great content tho why are we seeing so much of you ?
?
Charles was not ‘coronated’, for heavens sake! He was crowned.
It comes from the Latin word: Coronatus, to be crowned.
en.m.wiktionary.org/wiki/coronatus
For goodness sake there is no such word as coronated. Charles was crowned
No biggie.
Actually it does exist it’s meaning it’s of wearing a crown, coronet or the like.
@@MadameEster Thanks, I'm not going mad 🙂
Methinks a deep breath and a sit down is in order!
@@MadameEsterNever heard it used until a year ago, and then by Americans.
Worse nightmare a ship full of brexiteers 😂
Not sure, didn't ask them!

@@andrewhalket4129 are you serious? 😮
Yes indeed, was £199 for inside Cabin, £249 for ocean view, and £599 for Grill.... Can't remember the last time (if ever) Grill went for that price
@@ritzytravelguide this is about the same amount as a 4 day cruise from Los Angeles to Ensenada, with two days at sea.
