The reason for the in accuracies is that Hasbro was very strict with what they would let Thinkway release. They made the eyes combined into one piece for the same reason as the standard Spud Head, because an individual eye would be too small for choking hazard safety requirements. Thinkway wanted to at least have the partless Potato Head be accurate so they put one peg in each eye so hasbro would let there be both eyeslots. The legs are because Hasbro was worried about pinching hazards.

The legs are actually pretty accurate. In some parts of toy story two you can see Mr. P's legs look the same size as this figure. Also at face value this figure may not be worth it's retail price, but that matters little once they become collectible pieces. Once they become unavailable in stores you can bet they'll be going for more than $50 online. If you see it for $30 you should get it while you can

Great review on him,I own the 20th Anniversary Mr Potato Head because the Collection ones very hard to find in 2018.He's 300 on Ebay,the only complaint is the feet don't come off,the eyes aren't separate,and he doesn't open in the back.Great video :)

ive noticed that if the toy already existed (eg. mr potato head) on the certificate it says creating the FILM, but a fictional toy (eg. Buzz Lightyear) has creating the CHARACTER on the certificate, just something i noticed :P

Just bought this guy on eBay for only $27!, it is used but it looks like he comes with all of the pieces except for his mustache and angry mouth, he was mixed in with some other Potato Heads and Toy Story parts but I had to snag him because the price was very reasonable, there was one other person watching it, and I’ve been searching for the collection Mr. Potato Head for a while! 👍

As a collector myself, your reviews are spectacular! I said the exact same thing with this Mr. Potato Head. Why the knees? The eyes are together!? This was the one chance to get what you see in the movie and it was a lost opportunity. I agree with you on the eyes.

They made Potato Head with goofy legs and the eyes how they did is because they felt that the moving legs would pinch fingers and kinds would choke on the eyes. Personally I think it's a rip-off. Nowhere near movie-accurate with those two details all wrong. I guess it was too hard to make the age higher for kids who play with the thing.
