Im adding to my room every week. I've got dozens of vhs tapes i loaded with old Saturday morning cartoon reruns. Having them play in the background while i play snes games is so unreal. I just wish i could sideload to my headset tho
You can Import video files and they will show as VHS cassettes that you can shove into your VCR.. Just let it play low volume on a small tv across the room.... I specislly like to rip those 1h retro tv commercials and let those play in the background or some vintage Late Night with David Latterman on NBC.
The glare and reflection on the TV is what really sells it. Do they have JNCOs for me to hang in the closet? It turns out that JNCOs are the form that my mid-life crisis is taking. I’m obsessively watching eBay for any pair that’s in my size. I’m really depressed to think how much I’m gonna end up paying when a pair of JNCO MugShots in my size finally pop up.
I can see this game having extras like a multiplayer situation where you might have like 5 mins until dinner and a timer, and then you can have other people role playing different people of the house like a Dad a Mum and maybe a sibling all in VR in a 90s theme !
this is soo fire. id love to play a game where you can just make your own house and customise and decorate everything however you want and use the tv and monitors as your actual pc... kinda like virtual desktop.. wait thats exacty what they gotta make. virtual desktop create your own world like minecraft, someone right this down im cookin
@@Colesygaming you can decorate the whole room with custom wallpaper and movie & game posters fairly easy. Just make sure the pictures are high resolution and patch the dimensions of the sample pictures. Virtual Desktop at least is giving us the options to change monitors/TVs in sceenes with multiple screens but the augmented environment to me is much more interesting for productivity. Too bad the passtrough stuff can't be streamed.
I want this, but I would LOVE if they added in a retro PC element using 86Box, and I mean the full Retro PC building experience. Select a case, speakers, motherboard, CPU, graphics adapter, all of it, and wire it all up. Then have Cable TV (probably coming from a stream online) going in the background. I think this is multiplayer, so I think that the experience would be incredible!

My PC Is not great and I have no VR headset but I made a Pokemon themed room with the pokemon first movie poster, ash and pikachu blankets and there's even a VHS player you can get to play video files

I don't think so unfortunately. This still requires running a fairly hefty VR application to run the room as well as then emulating the games themselves.
WHERE DO I CONFIGURE CONTROLS IN EMUVR? My PS5 controller are using XBOX layout making it completley useless due to X Button is B Button and no matter how I change it just refuse to change in EMUVR...
I've had this for some time, Im waiting for them to update it, but it is indeed cool, but progress is sooo slow. You can customize the room, put posters everywhere, change bed covers and floor, wallpaper, everything its extremely cool with lots of potential, I hope they dont drag their feet and waste the oportunity.

@stokerman159 yeah it's not too bad to setup, it's fairly ok if you just follow the instructions. I did wonder if navigation using only controller might be an issue though :/
I highly doubt anyone will respond to this I am having a problem with bully the game I have come so far into the story that I have reached a roadblock it appears my control support almost every single button besides one which is the button to crouch under the fence since I cannot crouch underneath the fence my game is soft locked and I cannot continue

It runs RetroArch in the background, so all RA functionalities should work, just open menu while you're in game (I don't know the combination), and use save states.

You cannot run a PC Programm on a Quest2 , that is the main problem... maybe the develepors decide to make it compabile for the quest2 sometimes?! It would be pretty cool🤙
What do you mean? The program itself isn't an emulator, sure. But the ability to run the games on the old consoles is all emulators. Without the emulators it'd literally be a room simulator.
It would be cool if they added a laptop where you could stream your pc display on it. I would just play on club penguin like the good old days on my old laptop

I don't think it'll be native on the headset, it's always going to be PCVR just because of the emulators playing the games, seems very complex to get all those running on VR too.

The emulator frontend it’s using doesn’t support Xbox emulation atm. However, you can sorta cheat it with a Window Capture core if you’re able to have a standalone Xbox emulator running in the background!
Yes... Here's the thing though. You have to get ROMS of the games you want to play. Now legally you're supposed to rip your own ROM from having the physical game. But there are many places online you can download them from, a simple Google search will find them for you. But EMUVR is free to run & honestly super simple to setup.
Yeah I'm pretty sure that's possible, the games are being run on emulators so I'd assume they'd be able to save just the same as if you were playing on the emulators themselves without it being in VR
You *can* technically cheat it a bit. EmuVR/RA has a core that lets you capture footage of another specific window on your computer, so you could use it with a standalone Xbox 360 emulator (if one exists idk) being captured
Update: MAME and FBNeo are available as cores, and while arcade cabinets aren’t available official, you can add them in with fan-made UGC (custom content) mods!

Custom consoles, custom carts, screens, props, you name it! Just recently someone got books & magazines with multiple pages you can actually read! (Though it’s a bit complex to set up atm)

you CAN actually access the feeds of streaming sites if you can access the webm file it uses!

It doesn't run natively in the quest 2, you need to run it on PC & use the quest 2 as a headset connected to the PC.

Pretty sure it has to be on a virtual TV. That's kinda the whole point to the vr aspect, otherwise you can just play in a normal emulator :)

No. Emu VR is run on PC.

Emu VR runs entirely on the PC & you have to use a link cable to be able to use your quest as the headset

@@Colesygaming Definitely! UGC has completely reignited my old love for EmuVR, and the people on the discord making content for it have been KILLING it! Custom consoles, custom carts, screens, props, you name it! Just recently someone got books & magazines with multiple pages you can actually read! (Though it’s a bit complex to set up atm)

You have to use PCVR I'm afraid. It's not running on the headset alone.
Can you do a ps2 game optimization video, i cant get them to run at stable frames, like the room is fine but the game on screwn glitches and lags
