Right! These stories need to be out there! It's so important for people to recognize that you can't just believe a woman just bc she's a woman and "no woman would make this up". There are absolutely women who will make things up just to destroy a man and they are just as bad if not worse than the Actual male victimized out there bc they are the reason we have to second guess every woman's story. I had a friend who was falsely accused of SA his two year old daughter by his ex. His ex cheated on him while pregnant and he broke up with her but he loved their daughter. His ex immediately moved in with the man she was cheating with, they went to court and set up custody/visitation/child support and everything was fine. Everything was fine until the new bf caught her cheating and left her around the same time as my friend started dating again. This EVIL, pathetic excuse of a mother injured her own child's genitals to create "evidence" against my friend. He went to prison, lost his parental rights, it destroyed his life and I'm ashamed to say that I didn't believe him, I didn't even believe him after he got out and killed himself. I didn't believe he was innocent bc as a mother I couldn't imagine any mother hurting her on child to get revenge on her child's father for daring to be happy and move on. I didn't believe him until she got very drunk at my friends wake and started telling people what she did. Laughing and bragging about setting him up. Her confession was recorded and he was post humously exonerated but what does that matter. He DIED with everyone who loved him believing that he SAd his own tiny daughter. I will never believe anything without proof, actual proof again and idk if I can even believe it with proof bc we thought there was proof. There was evidence of abuse right after her weekend with her dad. We didn't know. How are you ever supposed to know when there are people out there willing to do stuff like that?

Clayton's comments about people pleasing resonate so deeply with me. I went through something incredibly destructive, similar in that the juiciness of drama was held higher than truth. It devastated me, and left me constantly trying to tell people my side and how this wasn't me. Some time in the second year of this battle, i realized people didn't care. They wanted the drama, the juicy, and they would actively ignore anything that didn't fit that image. I stopped trying giving a crap what people thought.

I'm a CSA survivor. While I inherently agree that going after every case where it appears that an alleged victim is lying would probably deter future actual victims, in extreme cases where it's painfully obvious and easily provable they're lying like this and another certain high profile liar and abuser, they absolutely should be prosecuted. To not is an insult to actual victims, to their victims like Clayton, and to the justice system.

This calm, supportive conversation is exactly what the world needs.
Regarding sanctions, she didn't make a simple mistake, or even tell a garden-variety lie. She went out of her way to FABRICATE ELABORATE EVIDENCE. Fabrication of evidence to introduce to the court as proof of something is a CRIME, not mere perjury. The court will not be able to look the other way.
You'll notice that the moment she lawyered up, the universe of her allegations got much smaller, but the truth was still nowhere to be found. Lawyers cannot introduce false evidence nor suborn perjury without fear of serious professional reprisal, including disbarment. You may wish to talk to a good libel/slander attorney - Roberta Kaplan's office takes high profile cases and wins them. You need and deserve quality representation like her.
It's heartbreaking to hear how deeply you have suffered by this nutloaf's intentional acts. You are another bead on the string of men she's done this to, she must be deterred! While it seems clear she is has an undiagnosed mental illness, she also has an established pattern of harmful behavior that has to end.
Lastly, she thinks nothing of wasting scarce court resources, which the judge will not be able to discount.
You have a strong slander/libel case against her for besmirching your good name.
I don't agree that women who are genuinely pregnant - with real, DNA-having fetuses - will have any difficulty properly accessing court resources, simply because one woman who fabricated evidence of a non-existent, fake pregnancy, was punished for perpetrating a fraud upon the court. On the other hand, if the court fails to punish nutloaf magoo, it essentially throws open its doors and sets out a red carpet to warmly welcome and embrace those who would perpetrate more frauds of all kinds upon it.
It sets a bad precedent and it's bad public policy to let nutloaf get away with this. The fact that she's done it before, and has had so many opportunities to tell the truth along the way, will hang her.
Your takeaway message, about how your support network is so important, cannot be overstated. Difficult things come up in our lives, and we need help to get through the rough times. Having an infrastructure you can lean on when the going gets tough is essential.
It's what we do to strengthen our social backbones during the easy times, that makes them strong for us during the hard times.
Oh, and be careful out there - the Hot/Crazy Matrix is real! We can do a lot to avoid trouble by vetting for mental health first! This applies to women and men equally.

My heart goes out to Clayton.
As soon as I heard "11 days afterwards she told me she was pregnant" and "she'd only keep the baby if I dated her" I went, "it's vanishingly unlikely she's pregnant, and she's *definitely* trying to screw you over for money, fame, or both".
Sadly, even if he can get whatever the US version of substantial indemnity and punitive damages are, he's still going to be out a lot of money and will still have to deal with all the damage she caused.
I also understand why the State probably won't prosecute her. It's already too hard for honest women to come forward when dishonest men have acted against them.
I really hate women like her. They make the rest of us look like liars when we're not, and they make it harder for *everyone* to get actual justice.
Clayton, you understand a lot of things that most men in your situation wouldn't. I respect the hell out of you for understanding that her doing this is evidence of sickness rather than something that women just do. And I respect the hell out of you for doing this "for the next guy", so to speak, not just clearing your own name. That was a big reason why I reported my abusive ex and the man who raped me and went through with testifying even though I knew they'd walk. I couldn't handle the thought of them doing it to someone else because I didn't want the pain and further trauma of testifying.
I also found that being open and vulnerable about my own struggles has allowed people to be vulnerable with me. A joy shared is doubled, and a burden shared is halved, and my own vulnerability has allowed me halve the burdens of others. And I'm so grateful for that opportunity.
Clayton, I wish you every happiness in your life away from that lying manipulator

I gave birth to twins in 2019. I didnt have any family members or friends who had twins and I was freaking out. I joined many "moms of twins" support groups, info groups, etc... when I was pregnant. I met so many amazing women through those groups. Sadly, the type of identical twins I had are high risk. I met many moms who lost one or both twins in utero or at birth. It makes me so mad that this psycho is so comfortable not only lying about being pregnant with twins but also lying about losing the babies. I hope she can grow up, get help, and stop this behavior.

About halfway through. Great podcast so far. Never heard of Clayton before but he seems like a really, really cool person. Enjoyable to listen to someone my age (early 30s) so mature and enlightened.

This crazy chick needs to face some jail time as well she should have to pay his attorney fees & pay for the mental anguish she has caused. I also hope that no man will ever go near her again.
Clayton I doubt you will read this but I'm so sorry this happened to you.

The court needs to hold her responsible! The fact that she has done this over and over is despicable! She’s a danger to society!
