Watching matt quickly realise his accidental joke and desperately try to explain whilst everyone is laughing at the joke he didn't mean to make will never not be hilarious.

He is dead now, and you can't libel the dead.. We oughta know.

A lot of these moments get funnier when you realise that for the early seasons the sound effect was added in post. Just Tom slapping the big red button and nothing happens, but in their mind everyone hear "mystery biscuiittss~"

@@Leffrey holy shit, that was quick! i commented that before watching the video and while watching it realized it was all the episodes before the first live one, because Tom needs to call the points out manually, because they don't have speakers,. was on my way to delete this comment, couldn't find it, checked notifications and BAM you had already replied.

I'm guessing its because they recorded series one in a single day and it was getting dark, if you watch every episode you can see the light fading. Now THAt is a mystery biscuits answer. Lobbo!!!

A point is given to a player for a right fact or answer. It is indicated by a ding (the sound effect in the background).
A mistery biscuit is a special price that is awarded for very good answers or jokes.

There was no direct inspiration for me choosing that intro.
I suspect that he and I had the same idea. You were just (un)lucky to see both intros recognize the similarities.
