Arven is my absolute favourite character in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet. He cares so much about his Mabostiff, and I think the ending of Path of Legends is so wholesome. You can’t convince me otherwise.

Honestly, I think the Professor is the only real baddie here. Under the circumstances, I would also have forgiven Penny and had her work to fix what she did. As for the AI Prof, their programming is not their fault. The fact they learned separately from their programming puts them closer to the good tier.They also warn you about the program override that takes over.
I agree, the AI has no harmful intentions and is getting puppeted. I always count that nobody is evil if they are FORCED doing the evil. So like if a evil wizard mind controls a hero to turn against the others, the turned hero isn't evil, they are forced evil
The professor isn't bad, either (I played Scarlet, so this may apply more to Sada than Turo depending on how different they are). Made mistakes sure, but keep in mind the AI Prof is programmed with artificial intelligence and the memories and ways the professor her/himself would think. Keep in mind that the programming was done the way it was to begin with because the professor died before Pokémon started escaping area zero. The professor did die trying to save a Pokemon's life and doesn't seem to have had harmful intentions either, but died before things started getting really out of hand. Considering the AI was based heavily on the real professor, I can only assume they learned separately because the prof's morality was also added in (again, the professor sacrificed her/his own life). The AI also sacrificed its own life to stop the machine (or implied to have, as the AI only worked in that area because of the crystals and energy, so once it was transported through the time machine it can be assumed the AI professor also died.) I think this implies the professor and AI professor are actually quite selfless and benevolent, though got wrapped up in fantasies about ancient Pokemon/future Pokemon. I also agree about Penny--she's a kid, and while she did things the wrong way, she intended to stop bullying, protect her friends, and took a stand to try to be a vigilante of the school in a sense. Penny wasn't a bad person, no, she's just a kid and I think her heart's in the right place since she was still trying to help people, and was also noble enough to want to help the player in thanks. I don't think there really is a baddie (though there's theories of Geeta being a bit shifty at best, especially with how she treats Larry)
@@AuraPhotonReality to add to that, the AI knew that the time machine experiment could destroy Paldea if successful. They actively tried to help the player, even sacrificing itself to permanently shut down the machine and is a better parent to Arven than the original professor.
Ok, first, Arven should be ranked higher as from what I recall, the reason why he skipped most of his classes was so that he can heal his Mabosstiff as he tried everything but didn’t work. Penny should also be ranked higher as while she did hack into the Pokémon League system, she did try and stand up against the bullies in the academy and did helped to band the star bosses who are victims. Finally, A.I Sada/Turo should be ranked higher as when they try to kill you, they mentioned beforehand to get ready and tell Florian/Juliana about their skill level in battling and to defeat them. PLUS, during the final fight after the main battle, they would tell you to run as they would disabled and that the PPP will take over them
Brassius can jump from the Windmill without injury because not only is he a Pokémon Trainer, he is also secretly a Stand User. Notice that Purple Thorn Whip he carries around? That's Hermit Purple. 🌚🌝
Humanly selfish at times, but also selfless for sacrificing themselves to save a Pokemon they felt responsible for and also the AI, implied to have a similar thought process, also sacrificed itself to try to seal the time machine. They seemed to be more living in a dream than reality really until it was too late.
I disagree with Poppy being neutral. You can't really blame her for the way she acts, because she is so young. That's what adds to what makes her so adorable. Of course she's gonna be boastful and ending up crying when you beat her. She hasn't done anything legit bad either. I would rank her somewhere between the middle and end of the Good area.
Penny is nicer than the other team star members she does help you break up team star and she helps you defeat AI Sada or Al Turo. Also you should do the Paldean forms

The Gold Medal of Evil should’ve been the Professor’s Legendary as their the reason the Professors are dead and why Koraidon and Miraidon had to flee Area Zero after losing the territorial struggle. This makes them guilty of squatting and murder which no one else in the game compares to.

Bruh. No one in this game was bad/evil. The bottom 3 definitely had questionable actions, but they are all not intentionally evil. I also think Clavell should be higher. Above all the gym leaders at least.
Arven shouldn't have been put so low. He didn't do anything bad and is better than most of the people in the good section. He was only mad in the start because he was angry at miriadon/kiriadon for running away from him. He looked after mabosstiff very well, along with the protagonist. He skipped classes to look after his DYING dog, he wasn't just supposed to sit there watching it suffer, making it no reason to call him a slacker. Arven should've been put much higher in the ranks. (Edit) Also, with director Clavell, he only lied to protect the main protagonist, so why is he in the grey area? And if he looks bad from the start doesn't mean he is bad. He disguised as Clive to learn about the truth behind team star. (2nd edit) Ortega being bad, I can believe, but the rest of the team star leaders? They were like that because they were bullied and they finally decided to stand up for themselves but the bullies were scared of a small outfit change and left. The team start leaders didn't force them to leave or anything, the bullies chose to themselves. This is the same with Penny! She was protecting herself! She didn't start team star to cause trouble, she started it to help kids that were getting bullied. She only lied to protect her loved ones. It is funny that while having good intentions Penny commited several crimes. Arven should be higher tho, he was doing his best to heal his buddy but was hesitant to ask for help.
I despise this list so bad. First of all, Team Star is not bad. They started to stop bullying, and admirable cause, so they should absolutely not all be in evil. Even so, Eri and Penny being the lowest two is absolute nonsense. Eri deeply cares about the team and puts it before literally her own health. She would put her life on the line for the team. And PENNY ADMITTED TO HER CRIMES AND DID NOTHING TO DEFEND HERSELF AND WAS PARTIALLY RESPONSIBLE FOR SAVING THE WHOLE F-ING WORLD! Then Sada and Turo being gold medal of evil is also nonsense. They sacrificed themselves to save Arven, not the time machine, they created the AI to work after death, which is serious dedication, you can't fault a robot for following it's programming, (that'd be like faulting a microwave for being hot) and on top of all of that, they noticed the error of their ways and apologized before sacrificing themself. When I played the full game, then watched this video, I feel that this is more of a least good to most good video. Sada & Turo's goals were bad yeah, but the memory put into the AI made them better individuals. The AI even asked the hero to stop them in the climax.
Orre Region games good to evil! Most evil goes to Ardos, he's the genius whose bright idea was to blow up Citadark Isle with you and all of the subordinates still on it...
I feel like a lot of the characters in Scarlet/Violet would end up in the grey area at least by the end of the game. So I think that's the reason this video feels very off to me. The professors feel like the only ones I'd classify as evil. (and even then it's moreso the professors who are already dead vs the ai versions)
I agree with all of the placements, except I feel that the AI Sara/Turo’s evil actions should not count because they want the paldea region to be safe and they warn the player that they will most likely attack due to the system’s programming. Also, you should make a new evil teams: evil to most evil including these villains. I would put the entirety of team star with Team Skull, AI Sara/Turo with Ultra Sun/Ultra Moon Lusamine, and the actual professors with team galactic, team plasma, and team rocket.
You guys really need to get better at this stuff. There isn't really anyone evil in these games. Penny and the rest of Team Star are victims of bullying. Everyone thought they were the bad guys just for standing up for themselves. I understand how it is to be bullied and want to change that. I was a victim because I have Autism, which made me different from many people. You should've done good to most heroic. Even the professors aren't bad. They just wanted to make their dream of past or future Pokemon living in the present day a reality. This led to them burying themselves in their work so much they forgot to take care of their own son. They wanted to make sure this dream would happen no matter what, that they didn't stop to think about what could happen. That's not villainy, that's misguidance. I actually believe that the A.I.s are more heroic than the players themselves. They try to get you to become strong enough to stop the catastrophe that is close to happening. They even trust you with the other version of the "Legendary" that gets casted out from losing a battle for territory. They probably knew about the triple P, and realized that if you were to face it, you would need the Pokemon to still have a fighting chance. They even give themselves up to make sure the time machine can be shut down. They're the reason we're even there in the first place. That's what you needed to do. Not this nonsense.
team star literally did nothing wrong, it was some pushy grunts who tried to recruit more people if anything they should all be in the grey area with Penny at the end for the hacking stuff also the legendary lizards should be in the good/evil ranks since ours are best boys but the savage ones are the first Pokemon to without a doubt killed someone with others it;s implied they can or they have but this is the first time it was confirmed. lastly Rika isn't vane but I do agree Poppy has an inflated ego; aside from that I see no problem with the rankings

For once, I find myself largely in disagreement with one of these videos from PokéBinge and affiliated channels. Nah bruv, I wont be convinced that Arven isnt in the good section, Idc where you put him in good but hes a good boy. Sure hes a little rough around the edges, but you would be too if you thought your parent completely abandoned you and you were raised by a dog. Hes still a supportive guy, and technically he has a hand in helping rid the Paldea region of all the loose titan pokemon. Plus in the end game he gets more development and changes his views on his parent as well as decides to become a better version of himself
The robot wasen't evil, It was the original Sada/Turo that was evil, the robot wanted to stop the time machine, but were prevented from doing so by their code.
I personally think that the real professors didn’t care about Arven and were more focused on research (making them more on the evil side) and the AI professors started feeling bad for Arven and wanted to help him but was probably afraid of getting found out and decommissioned (putting them more on the good/neutral side) but idk that’s just a headcannon. Rn it’s up for interpretation

Not sure why the AI Professors are so high on the evil list. Penny is more "evil" then them as she actually committed her criminal activities freely where as the criminal activities they committed weren't even their own desires or doing but the original professors programming that overrides them. If anything their crimes should be placed upon the original professors not them.
I don't believe any character is evil team star are kids with problems AI Sada and Turo are robots and were programated to attack anybody and Sada and Turo were a bit careless that is it nobody was completely evil

Brassius can survive the jump from the windmill because the low framerate slows down the effect of Gravity on his fall speed.

Yeah it feels like the rankings are based off of where everyone is in the trailer or early game lol. It feels dirty to put team star in the bad section when all they were doing was standing up to their bullies, plus it's not like they even DID anything besides skipping class (and everything else Clevall lists off lmao)

It is funny that while having good intentions Penny commited several crimes. Arven should be higher tho, he was doing his best to heal his buddy but was hesitant to ask for help.
He was also super edgy when we first meet him. Everyone above him is nice to the player throughout the whole game.

I despise this list so bad. First of all, Team Star is not bad. They started to stop bullying, and admirable cause, so they should absolutely not all be in evil. Even so, Eri and Penny being the lowest two is absolute nonsense. Eri deeply cares about the team and puts it before literally her own health. She would put her life on the line for the team. And PENNY ADMITTED TO HER CRIMES AND DID NOTHING TO DEFEND HERSELF AND WAS PARTIALLY RESPONSIBLE FOR SAVING THE WHOLE F-ING WORLD! Then Sada and Turo being gold medal of evil is also nonsense. They sacrificed themselves to save Arven, not the time machine, they created the AI to work after death, which is serious dedication, you can't fault a robot for following it's programming, (that'd be like faulting a microwave for being hot) and on top of all of that, they noticed the error of their ways and apologized before sacrificing themself. This list is TL;DP incarnate.

When I played the full game, then watched this video, I feel that this is more of a least good to most good video. Sada & Turo's goals were bad yeah, but the memory put into the AI made them better individuals. The AI even asked the hero to stop them in the climax.
As soon as I could climb walls on Miridon, I tried going into area zero. Did'na work, but it was funny.
Orre Region games good to evil! Most evil goes to Ardos, he's the genius whose bright idea was to blow up Citadark Isle with you and all of the subordinates still on it...
I feel like a lot of the characters in Scarlet/Violet would end up in the grey area at least by the end of the game. So I think that's the reason this video feels very off to me. The professors feel like the only ones I'd classify as evil. (and even then it's moreso the professors who are already dead vs the ai versions)

I agree with all of the placements, except I feel that the AI Sara/Turo’s evil actions should not count because they want the paldea region to be safe and they warn the player that they will most likely attack due to the system’s programming. Also, you should make a new evil teams: evil to most evil including these villains. I would put the entirety of team star with Team Skull, AI Sara/Turo with Ultra Sun/Ultra Moon Lusamine, and the actual professors with team galactic, team plasma, and team rocket.
You guys really need to get better at this stuff. There isn't really anyone evil in these games. Penny and the rest of Team Star are victims of bullying. Everyone thought they were the bad guys just for standing up for themselves. I understand how it is to be bullied and want to change that. I was a victim because I have Autism, which made me different from many people. You should've done good to most heroic. Even the professors aren't bad. They just wanted to make their dream of past or future Pokemon living in the present day a reality. This led to them burying themselves in their work so much they forgot to take care of their own son. They wanted to make sure this dream would happen no matter what, that they didn't stop to think about what could happen. That's not villainy, that's misguidance. I actually believe that the A.I.s are more heroic than the players themselves. They try to get you to become strong enough to stop the catastrophe that is close to happening. They even trust you with the other version of the "Legendary" that gets casted out from losing a battle for territory. They probably knew about the triple P, and realized that if you were to face it, you would need the Pokemon to still have a fighting chance. They even give themselves up to make sure the time machine can be shut down. They're the reason we're even there in the first place. That's what you needed to do. Not this nonsense.
Now for pokemon x and y good to evil.

team star literally did nothing wrong, it was some pushy grunts who tried to recruit more people if anything they should all be in the grey area with Penny at the end for the hacking stuff
also the legendary lizards should be in the good/evil ranks since ours are best boys but the savage ones are the first Pokemon to without a doubt killed someone with others it;s implied they can or they have but this is the first time it was confirmed.
lastly Rika isn't vane but I do agree Poppy has an inflated ego;

For once, I find myself largely in disagreement with one of these videos from PokéBinge and affiliated channels. If they’re willing to rate characters like Arven, Penny, Clavell, and the bosses of Team Star that low, I’m kind of terrified of how they would rank DLC characters (Kieran, Carmine, etc.) if they were to do an updated version to include the DLC.

Nah bruv, I wont be convinced that Arven isnt in the good section, Idc where you put him in good but hes a good boy. Sure hes a little rough around the edges, but you would be too if you thought your parent completely abandoned you and you were raised by a dog. Hes still a supportive guy, and technically he has a hand in helping rid the Paldea region of all the loose titan pokemon. Plus in the end game he gets more development and changes his views on his parent as well as decides to become a better version of himself

The robot wasen't evil, It was the original Sada/Turo that was evil, the robot wanted to stop the time machine, but were prevented from doing so by their code.

I personally think that the real professors didn’t care about Arven and were more focused on research (making them more on the evil side) and the AI professors started feeling bad for Arven and wanted to help him but was probably afraid of getting found out and decommissioned (putting them more on the good/neutral side) but idk that’s just a headcannon. Rn it’s up for interpretation

Ok Arven, Poppy and Ryme should be much higher in the good list because Poppy is a child and she doesn't have any sense of morality and acts like kids het age would act, Arven is legit hunting down 5 specific mons threw paldea which must be really hard and doing shit ton of reaserch only to curr his doggo, and he cares deeply about mabostiff plus no wonder he was a jerk because he got parents issues and Ryme doesn't hold back because it is a rap battle, if you enter one against her while hearing her rap style you asked to get roasted like that, and if she did that on people who didn't ask to take part of the rap battles then grey area is justefied.
Geeta should be low grey area because the only redeeming quality of her is giving the player the tms for tera blast and thats it, she hired a 5 years old to work for her and for sure she doesn't pay enough to the people she works for because if she did larry would have 1 job instead of 3

Not sure why the AI Professors are so high on the evil list. Penny is more "evil" then them as she actually committed her criminal activities freely where as the criminal activities they committed weren't even their own desires or doing but the original professors programming that overrides them. If anything their crimes should be placed upon the original professors not them.
