You are so right, now that you mention it. There is a stark contrast to Cartier and VCA in the aftercare. You get all the travel pouches, wonderful customer service with no hint of condescending attitude, and the cleaning kit without asking. I did receive a travel pouch for my necklace at VCA but, that was it. My first SA was so sweet and offered water and the like without promting. The person that actually served me the day I purchased was much more rude in a way, she was looking down on me, and just did not provide a warm atmosphere. Because precious stones can vary in colour and veining, I only found out later, they should show you or give you the option to choose your stone variation of choice. I didn't get that option and I had to go back on my own to do so. 😅 Definitely left a bad taste in my mouth.
Yeah they don’t usually show you multiples unless you ask. It really should be a standard practice though especially for stones like carnelian that vary in color. That’s why I hesitate to preorder anything that isn’t just metal and diamonds from VCA because I wouldn’t have options to pick from. Sorry you had a bad experience there. It’s unfortunate that so much hinges on getting a good SA 😩
Love the custom pieces. Cartier's diamond pieces are so now worth the money, they aren't cut right to bring out the brilliance that's why you can barely notice them. The only luxury brands that have well cut diamonds are Harry Winston and VCA.
Ahh I see. You would think that since they charge outrageous prices for tiny little diamonds that barely cost anything, the least they would do is make sure those diamonds are cut right.
It was ~$10k for the 4 ctw bracelet and ~$12k for the 6 ctw one. Honestly the whole mechanism behind putting on and locking the Tiffany lock bracelet is so unique I wouldn’t use a jeweler to try to recreate it.
Idyl is expensive as 14gold ! When you sell the jewlery you buy from the brand price is down to 80% its better to invest in 21k or 18k gold than 14k in that price
