- Why I finally decided to sell the bag I always considered my holy grail handbag...
Sale Details:
All items are authentic. I do not own any fake items and I would never sell a fake item.
Prices are firm and are priced in USD. Shipping is free only if an item is being shipped to a US address. For all other destinations, shipping will be $150 USD.
Payments are accepted through Zelle and wire transfer only.

Condition: great - small scratches on bottom and inside, impressions on leather from zipper and snap button inside, some wear on top left of the back pocket, crease along back of flap, slightly flatter quilts compared to when it was new
Comes with: dust bag, box, authenticity card
Chanel Medium Classic Flap - iridescent purple calfskin with gunmetal hardware

Condition: great - small scratch on front by right grommet, crease along back of flap, impressions on leather from zipper and snap button inside and chain in the back, some wear on back left corner at the base (picture in the video makes it look worse than it is because of the iridescent effect), some creases in the quilts

Agreed! Been going through my closet this year too and rehoming bags that I don't grab anymore. Feels good to have more space and the option to use the funds for future purchases!

The purple bag is so so so beautiful! I can see why your husband picked it in the first place. It must be so hard for you to let it go, but I know what you mean, can imagine it’s harder to style than just black or a neutral. It is so beautiful and so cool though!

I think bag of this size will come back in trends, and this bag really doesn't go out of style. I always imagine myself wearing this bag as a fashionable granny.
Though I do understand, this bag screams "this is the only chanel bag I own"😂 and it's almost too classic to a fault.
True it’s definitely a classic. I think I’m comfortable selling a few of the ones that I don’t use because I have some others that I have been wearing. I don’t see myself completely selling all my classic flaps. Although never say never 😆

I would never sell any of my classic flaps especially medium one b…. Prices will continue to rise and quality seems be lower grade as years go on.
I get what you’re saying. The leather on these two definitely feel nicer than most of the ones I’ve seen in stores in the past few years.
Whenever I want to curate my collection and sell items, classic flaps are the first ones I want to keep. But yes I seldom use them. Once a year maybe? 😅 I am also thinking to just keep one. I don't like to use the black bc it's literally everywhere. I don't like to wear "uniforms" if that makes sense haha
One might be enough if you barely ever use them. I used to be the same way in thinking that I would never sell my classic flaps but that has now changed.

I’m totally biased since I have that exact same gray while I decided to sell my black one 😅 In an attempt to be more neutral in my response, I will say that if you want to have a classic flap that’s slightly different from the standard black that you see all the time, the gray one fits that criteria perfectly.

Carol I usually agree with you not now darlin. Save those bags. I like cross body too but not for fancy occasions. Ultimately it’s up to you of course. I personally would not.
I think I still have a lot of options for bags for special occasions. Hopefully selling these bags is the right choice. I guess I’ll find out in a few years 😆

I think those classic flaps are a little big for your body frame. I honestly have never gravitated towards the classic flap specially in black because I’m not the type to want what everyone likes. 2 days ago I took my 24C turquoise mini 22 and it really stood out amongst the other black Chanel bags that I saw people wearing. As time passes your taste does as well. 😊
You’re right - after predominantly using mini bags for so long, I’ve gotten used to that size and anything bigger than that feels a little off.
The 24C turquoise is so pretty. I’m sure your mini 22 caught a lot of people’s attention. The unique bags always catch my eye when I see them in the wild.
I don’t use my medium CF also, but I can’t get myself to let go 😢

It’s from 17S. Truly a stunning color but I usually go for pinks and blues rather than purple 🙈
