- In the final vlog from our October 2018 trip to Orlando we spend the day at Universal's Islands Of Adventure for a day of fun and thrills at one of the best theme parks in Florida.
We share a variety of off ride footage from the various different attractions at the park including a look at the latest construction taking place on the new roller coaster coming to The Wizarding World Of Harry Potter in 2019.

out of all the shows, films and properties universal own I will never understand why the did the Fallon ride.

America's theme parks are so much more alive and professional compared to theme parks here in the UK.
Agreed, just spent the day at Thorpe (knackered) and Saw was down all day and yesterday it seems, though I caught the workers welding a section of track when riding Samurai
Formula One Fan it is like in America the whole park is the experience whereas in the UK it's just the rides
That’s because the US is the most competitive theme park market in the world. All of them have to be up to par with the type of parks they are

I went here 1 year ago with my parents and sister (I live in the Netherlands) and it was the most fun park I've ever been to. Even better than Disney Land Paris imo, would love to go again

I love Ripsaw Falls lol my favourite log flume in orlando other than Splash obviously lol. I agree about Kong though. The old Kong ride at Universal Studios was much better.
This brings back so many memories from our trip in May. Gives me goosebumps. I really need to go back soon.
Ripsaw falls looks amazing though, much better than most log flumes in the world I'd feel. Other than Splash, Chiapas, WWF etc. It's much better than the ones without any themeing at all.

I was just thinking and thought about how much it takes to have a channel like this such as filming these clips, then putting them together and editing them then actually uploading them, all the saved Povs etc i bet it takes alot of work to have a channel like this but thankyou for all the effort you put into this for us to watch and congratulations on all the subscribers and views, it just shows how many people enjoy you videos and appreciate what you do. Hope your having a good trip in Florida with Charlotte.

The track at the entrance to the hulk was actually the original track used for the ride
I love this place. Me and my mate stayed at Cabana Bay, so we just came to Islands of Adventure every night from about 8-10pm. No queues for most rides
Have to agree with much of what you said: FJ is my preference over Gringotts. Love both but FJ has the edge. I liked Dragon Challenge but am very excited for the new ride and glad it will still be a coaster.
Dudley do Right definitely lacks theming but I enjoy that final drop.
Kong was the biggest disappointment ever!

This is AWESOME I just came from there a few days ago and filmed the whole thing as well, so awesome I came across this video! In my vlog we were terrified of Dr Dooms lol!

Was lucky enough to get into IOA 4 weeks before it opened in 1999 (sneak preview) going back again for the first time next October, really looking forward to seeing how much its changed. Bit disappointed that dueling dragons no longer exists though 😠

I loved duelling dragons when both the coasters actually went at the same time! They then changed it so they didn’t duel anymore but kept it as the same name! I then went on it when it was dragon challenge and although I love Harry Potter and could see what they were trying to do, it just didn’t have the same feel! They’re definitely doing the right thing putting in something different!

Rode Duelling Dragons in 2000. Was a fantastic B&M. I like the look of the new Hagrid coaster but i feel they could have kept them and re-themed to the Harry Potter universe

You realize the lost continent is a Disney rip right. The legend goes that some imagineers jumped ship and started working for universal as animal kingdom was supposed to get beastly kingdom. Mike Eisner went to universal on vacation with his kids and literally saw every inch of Lost Continent and immediately cancelled Beastly Kingdom as he figured some of his imagineers might have jumped ship and the entirety of the lost continent was supposed to be in animal kingdom. So he basically left the last part of animal kingdom open for years until eiger put in pandora. What a mess mike Eisner you made.

I know the feeling of getting absolitely soaked on water rides! Navy blue shirts go pretty much black especially when youre as nuts as me and ride ramases revenge multiple times (even in october)

I love the Universal parks in Orlando, I always have but I still can’t believe they got rid of Kongfrontation and then went and built a worse Kong ride in their park next door, it makes no sense to me
Coaster Crazy at least they replaced Kongfrontation with a worthy successor
Skins on jurassic park ride are replaced every year at least

You got some camera issues it keeps freezing and skipping and making a crackling noises
We have since resolved the camera issues for our future videos
I miss the hulk so much, i went in october and on my last day there, i went on it 6 times back to back. Its my all time favourite coaster. Beats the smiler any day ( smiler is my favourite uk coaster)
Alex has such good taste in rides. Couldn’t agree more about Kong. It’s just like - why?? One way you can tell if a dark ride is going to be no good is the size of the show building. I remember when they were hyping up Kong during construction and everyone on the forums was getting pumped. I took a look at an overview of the show building construction and noticed how small it was. It was just going to be impossible for it to be the massive immersive attraction they were suggesting it was going to be with a show building that tiny. The same thing happened with the Na’vi River Journey boat ride at Animal Kingdom. It sounded like it was going to be great but I also noticed it had a really small show building during as it was being constructed. And of course it turned out to be very lacklustre.

to be 100% honest I think that poseidons fury is definitely one of the worse attractions in orlando. Each to their own though :)

I think youre being overly harsh on Kong. We all know its not the best ride in the world but come on, its somewhat enjoyable.
Unfortunately there's only a small part of it that I enjoy. It's much better than Fast & Furious and Jimmy Fallon though!

Guys I think you should be slightly more grateful. Kong is just a jumped up simulator, Better than what we have in the uk.
It's still better than some of our rides in the UK but I would still take quite a few of our dark rides over that!
