I never really liked dub edition cause rockstar just basically copied need for speed underground 2, i liked the game engine that midnight club 1 and 2 used way more than dub edition.

Ahhh the memories.....the traffic from the highway of Tokyo going in the opposite direction crashing it all the time......the first Paris unordered race where I have no idea where I was going........blowing up my Torque JX at the Los Angeles gas station when finishing the last race....... *This qualifies me as a racing disaster*

This game literally just introduced me to techno music and now that I'm older I understand why these songs exist in the game. Rockstar really hit it on this one it is was all about feeling. It felt like the song brought me to sweet victory carrying me through an intense race for the World Championship title. Racing Savo was frustrating!!!

They've gaven up with the MC series as they haven't played a game since 2008... If they wanna bring it back, I think a lot of fans would be happy with a MC2 remake don't you think?

hey javory, i dont know if you still play mc2 till this day, but there are some routes out there wich the bots will never use. if you find the right one you will always win with 5 to 10 seconds advantage! i hope you will one day also be able to easily win that race. it has troubled me in the past as well :)
Memories man midnight club 2 was the game that gave me the racing game skills I have today, now I can beat savo no problem even in the most difficult game mode, this game turned me into a god
lols, there are no difficulty settings, and the traffic as well as the actions the NPCs take are RNG, there is still a lot of skill involved, but its an arcade game

Also, if you want to make music like this, it's pretty cheap. Well, if you have at least $600 to blow. The following synthesizers will give you this sound: Korg volca, roland tb03, behringer TD3, Korg Emx-1 (which also has drums) or even a Roland Jdxi for the Beat part. It's dumb easy. Just gotta learn the synths. Plenty of tutorials on youtubes. Hope you find this helpful! The fsct that they used a Real TB303 for this is impressive considering the og tb303 didn't have midi or a digital tempo display. So you R E A L L Y had to get it right. With moderin 303's such as the behringer td3 ($129.00 to $149.99) can be midi out to another synth, and you can control the tempo from another synth so you always have the tempo right. Or, get a Roland Tb03 (lil more pricey @ $300.00 to $350.00) the New Tb03 has a digital tempo display. VERY CONVENIENT!!!! Korg volca key, not sure, never owned one, looks too cheap for me to want to waste the $ to find out if it's worth it. Also, korg Emx-1's are still holding their value to this day starting @ $300.00 to $500.00 but Emx-1's are insane machines in and of itself. You can learn to make the sound on the Korg Emx-1, and have everything in one shot, 303 sounds and all. I have 2 Emx-1's, Both with custom skins, One with Matrix coding, and the other, galaxy wrapped, both with "Statyk" on them on the bottom right of the Korg Emx-1. The galaxy korg, I'm selling for $350.00.
"Pretty cheap" to get as close as possible to a "pure analog sounding", nice joke mate! To be honest, they used meny drum-machines, like from TR-404 to all the way up to TR-909, plus very big variety of pedals, sometimes even a chain of pedals connecting to each other to get something unique. Reason 5 or 6 with Rebirth 338 could do a good job for covering, but it's a cheapest possible way. ps. if it is SO DUMB and SO EASY to produce, why ONLY a Michael Baur did this, and nobody else did better?

i really like the MC series, and especially because of the open world, but imo mc2 is still my favorite. i don't know why but there is just something about the game that i just love. the other game is not bad. but i just really like mc2 more than the others.

With moderin 303's such as the behringer td3 ($129.00 to $149.99) can be midi out to another synth, and you can control the tempo from another synth so you always have the tempo right. Or, get a Roland Tb03 (lil more pricey @ $300.00 to $350.00) the New Tb03 has a digital tempo display. VERY CONVENIENT!!!! Korg volca key, not sure, never owned one, looks too cheap for me to want to waste the $ to find out if it's worth it. Also, korg Emx-1's are still holding their value to this day starting @ $300.00 to $500.00 but Emx-1's are insane machines in and of itself. You can learn to make the sound on the Korg Emx-1, and have everything in one shot, 303 sounds and all. I have 2 Emx-1's, Both with custom skins, One with Matrix coding, and the other, galaxy wrapped, both with "Statyk" on them on the bottom right of the Korg Emx-1. The galaxy korg, I'm selling for $350.00.

To be honest, they used meny drum-machines, like from TR-404 to all the way up to TR-909, plus very big variety of pedals, sometimes even a chain of pedals connecting to each other to get something unique.
Reason 5 or 6 with Rebirth 338 could do a good job for covering, but it's a cheapest possible way.

I really think they should have continued the series based off MC2, with original, unlicensed vehicles. It really would have made Midnight Club stand out.

i really like the MC series, and especially because of the open world, but imo mc2 is still my favorite. i don't know why but there is just something about the game that i just love. the other game is not bad. but i just really like mc2 more than the others.
