I’ve thankfully had really good luck following your video here and one posted by Pretty in Green. I’m two for two so far! I put mine in a 50/50 mix of stratum and pearlite in parfait cups (plastic cup with a solid plastic lid). Kept the lids on for about two weeks like you, then slowly left them off longer and longer each day. Feeding Pretty in Green’s Leca AB fertilizer. After four weeks they both have a lot of new roots and a new leaf up top! One was from Jack’s Bean Stock, and the other was from Orange Lake Nursery.

7:18 the proper recipe for sterilizing is what you create & learn over time. Some examples of live plant cells treatment are 50% isopropyl 1 minute, dilute bleach 1 minute…utensils probably fine with 70% isopropyl alcohol dip (do NOT screw up & buy 90% bc highly flammable and not needed if you are diluting to 70% or less…just buy 70%. No reason to use hydrogen peroxide unless you like holes in your clothes or bleach spots everywhere in your home ;-)

I got it from a local seller in Canada. I am but sure if if he ships worldwide but I’ll link it in the description and just mention how you heard about it 🙂

2:43 fun video; not criticizing; capillary shares same root as “capillary action”. Very curious what big plants look like 🤷‍♀️

How much do you water them? Does the substrate stay wet all the time?

I’m so happy for you I have one Thai con tissue culture also but it s in moss soaked in clonex . But I’ve had it for about 4mos and no root growth . It’s still alive tho. I’m going to get that substrate now. But where did you get the platinum Thais. I’d love to get a few of those

You may also want to mix som Mycchondrial fungi in your soil as well. It made a huge difference with my Monstera albo

Hearing that you lost some of your tc Thai Constellation monstera has me worried about mine! Is it easy to purchase right from Thailand?
