Saying goodbye is never easy, even when it’s to your plants. Each one carries memories of growth, care, and companionship. Whether due to seasonal changes or their natural life cycle, the farewell can feel bittersweet. When ever I have had enough of a temperamental plant I tell it, 'your done, this is your last opportunity" cut it back, put it in morning sun and forget about and somehow it works. However these days I have no time for fussy plants. I love your big dog in the back ground towards the end, I'm sure your plants love him

Believe me it’s super hard but I am looking forward to that fulfillment once they’re all in the hands of people who can give them love and care. • @wmd40
    @wmd40 21 день назад

    you really should grow them straight in the ground where you want them. they will die because they are so fragile when they are small. if you have to, use biodegradable planter pots for poppies. poppy seeds are weird. they can grow almost anywhere but don't enjoy pots. idk why your friend told you to do with wet paper towel method 😅 they're practically weeds bc they grow so good. transplanting is almost impossible though. that's why using the biodegradable pots is better so you can just throw them in the ground. they also prefer DRY conditions. many natural varieties of poppies grow around the middle east which is actually pretty dry and cold. this is also why they need a period of cold temperature before they germinate. not sure if you were aware of that.

    • @wmd40
      @wmd40 21 день назад

      you really really really should just plant them in the ground, not in a planter. just in the crappy soil you have at your home. direct sunlight. the seeds also need to be COLD for at least a month before being planted. you're a great gardener! but you're actually doing too much for your poppies and that's why you're having trouble

    • @Echo3_
      @Echo3_ 18 дней назад

      @@wmd40 that word is stratification I found out recently, if a seed is only active after a cold season. It makes it easier to search for tips now haha. Im literally trying to all the ways people here have had success

    • @wmd40
      @wmd40 18 дней назад

      @@Echo3_ thank you! with poppies the best bet is to just throw them on top of snow in the winter. the snow melts and the seeds will fall into the soil which is moist as well...and all the cold helps them grow. starting them inside is hard bc they are like weeds! they grow and spread easily almost anywhere but need specific things to start. im trying to start poppies indoors just bc i can. i have had the seeds in the fridge for months and i am going to try with biodegradable pots indoors. will let you know. i am more of a houseplant person so this has been very fun for me. thanks!

    • @Echo3_
      @Echo3_ 17 дней назад

      @@wmd40 thank you for the advice. I usually broadcast seeds that have been in the fridge once the outside temps are not going to get above that temperature for the rest of the year. Sometimes I get one or 2 pop up and they die off early in spring. I have 80,000 seeds pf all sorts of poppies so this year I’m going to try a big of everything. Oddly the garden I have success year after year is the partial to half sun garden in my back yard and a large pot in the front yard. All the gardens designed to have the best success never give me anything. I think anything I put love in to dies or never comes back , so is my life 😂

    in restaurants, ask for a glass of water, that's free, not just water. never tip with card, restaurant will get that, tip directly in cash, if you want to tip. usually tips are pooled. sea is too rough this time of year, don't go in the water, also there's no watch now. uber is usually much cheaper than a taxi. some places open up really early but you have to know which :) the big tasty is definitely the best mac! some places don't accept credit cards! most places do accept debit, but credit is a separate contract and some smaller local places won't do it. grats :)
