Look, I know this is a very sad situation, but Betty still remains kind and curious as she looks in the mirror.
Bless her, and don't be unkind.
Betty is so precious!
She is so sweet.God bless her, and all the loving family who are with her.❤
What a loving family and precious mama/grandma. This disease can be so cruel at times, but you’re showing so much compassion and lightheartedness through it, and living with her in her own reality. Special! Bless you ❤
She's beautiful. And as painful as this can be, I'm glad you guys still get a few laughs in. That's important. May you continue you make beautiful memories for a good while yet.
Oh my goodness, this was heartwarming amidst the sadness that is Alzheimers. Betty is a wonderful woman and what an amazing men she has by her side! How funny the interactions are with herself. Sad but fascinating process isn't it?
Its just like my budgie when she plays with her mirror friend 😂😂
God bless Betty. I just want to give her a hug and her supportive family. She does make me smile too!
I’m impressed with her sweet demeanor despite this horrible illness. My mom had dementia and was extremely combative until we got her into a memory care facility and they gave her medication that helped tremendously.
She makes me smile until my cheeks hurt!
😊 thats so sweet . You are right ..
Me too! 😊
I can't even watch until the end,I went through this with my mom in 2014,and I can remember the day when she no longer knew that I was her daughter,God bless this man for loving her and God bless Betty.❤
Oh! I am so happy you got the mirror that my boss Beth Swenson sent. She wanted Betty to get to carry on that conversation with her best friend every day! Betty lights up when she talks to her friend in the mirror,
I love when families support one another. God bless Betty and the whole family. 😊
Although no known cure, your compound of good humour, patience, understanding and love are certainly the best antidote, cheers and gl.
I like how the father is always around her..
She's so humble. God bless her
I love that smile. What a sweet kind person she is
You can't help but love her so much
What beautiful humans you all are ❤
I just love this whole family…and Betty is priceless, her sense of humor is always evident ❤🥰🤗
Oh my gosh! I remember my grandma tapping the mirror in the hall and asking who that was was? She didn't recognize her reflection. This brings back memories.

My father had to remove the mirror in front of my mother's bed in the memory care unit where she resides. She kept asking, "Who is that woman?"
First of all, its a tragedy, alzhiemers is a tragedy, BUT some of the situations that it results in are just plain funny!! I miss Betty, RIP my buddy Betty!!
My mom recognized my dad but not herself.
She is the sweetest. I look for her everyday. 8:21 am
This disease can go in many different directions and while there were probably many difficult moments, how wonderful that her sweet disposition remained. May the Lord bless you and keep you as you grieve her absence. I am sorry for your loss.
The sweetest thing ever.
So touching.
My mom was completely the opposite, she became violent. Betty is so polite and that's what I enjoy about watching these videos.
This is true love and devotion.
God bless them… it is such a cruel disease, I’ve lost countless family members to this disease, I’ve seen things like this happen every single day, and it’s absolutely heartbreaking. I’m in tears watching this video, because it reminds me of what I’ve had to witness with my loved ones. I pray to God that none of you ever have to go through this, the person you love more than anything being ripped away from you one piece at a time until they don’t know who you are or who they are. This might sound cruel, but when my loved ones passed away, after a very long battle with this disease, it was a relief because I knew they were no longer suffering, and once again with the people, they loved most on the other side. Of course it killed me to lose them, but what hurt more was watching them in that state, I guess it’s hard to explain unless you’ve been through it yourself, but again, I hope you never have to.
Nawwww so beautiful ❤️
She such a beautiful lady i love her

It is sad
Het is triest om je moeder zo te zien aftakelen. Wat een rotziekte is alzheimer
