I have been thinking about starting out with Melton. I don't think I would have trouble with the work and the weather. My concern is being asked to back when I have no training. It may be better for me to start out with a company with better driving training.
Hello, Melton sends you out on the road with a trainer for 3 weeks and they will get you up to speed. With flatbed we don’t back all the time like a box truck. But the spread axle makes it harder. I’m finally getting the hang of it so you can do it ! They will work with you in the yard if you feel you need it. Good luck !
Got sent home today for ordering a drink 😂 week one is class videos with fat amish crocodile teeth. The week 2 boot camp bio polar vaper. Place is wack such a relief I'm gone as a experience driver idk why I even signed up for this bs 😅
Yeh buddy that’s one of the main reasons I chose Melton ! Of course I haven’t tried it yet since I have only been driving 6 weeks now . Glad you found the Channel I watch all your videos!
You are going to be gone from home for 5 to 6 weeks with all the training. Once you solo out and finish training you will get a truck. You get a load hopefully heading in the direction of your house. They send you home that first load pretty much. They work with you and do a good job on this too.
Watching this now has me nervous as hell about getting sent home.. the work doesn’t scare me.. it’s the part when you said if you hit a cone they will send you home & if you don’t learn the logging that they will send you home
Yeh, they for sure sent some dudes home for the driving test and the time Logs. The driving isn’t too terrible and the logs are doable if you keep up with it. Just listen and learn from the log book mistakes the first few days, then work hard to get it right the last few days and you should be good. Good luck !
