I feel like George Lynch is the sole reason Dokken had success and you can probably credit to Jeff Pilson for his great songwriting, but if you say the word "Dokken" to anyone who comes from the 80s, they are gonna talk about George Lynch and his awesome guitar riffs. You can say that Don hired George and youre right but I feel like Don needed George's talent more than George needed to be in Dons band. At least if youre strictly talking about gaining fame that is

It was always about George Lynch in Dokken. Never cared about the other guys.... No disrespect... His Solos and riffs were and are soooo good. I still listen to the "Back for the attack" album. The Solos are insane....melodic and very unique to his style.. Love Ya George!

George, I'm buying, with cash, your latest collaborative album and backtracking your work I've lost and misplaced over the years, because you're awesome and had to endure this interview where the interviewer was wrong and incorrect on every single one of his assumptions. And the irony of him working for ' Guitar Interactive Magazine ' had to be nearly unbearable. George, we got your back, my man

I grew up in Cerritos around the corner from Best Records where he taught. I remember there was a small white sheet of paper in the window that said something like "Guitar lessons by George Lynch". Interesting that Warren was hanging out in Cerritos. I wonder if he was already in Ratt.

George is one of my favorite guitarist. Too bad to hear he is a progressive, though. I thought he was smarter than that considering all he went through to make a name for himself and pull himself out of a disgruntle situation from Dokken and then work hard towards a successful career for himself. Hmmm, sounds like a conservative philosophy!
