My flight controller (Speedybee F405 wing) has the same “break out board” for the USB and alarm, I made my own harness and installed a Vifly lost model alarm instead because years of experience of locating and retrieving planes from corn fields has taught me never to trust that the flight battery won’t come disconnected in a crash. With the Vifly it’s designed for drones and if the power is disconnected it automatically goes off for 3 hours. Two prime examples of this, when my wing went down in the field close to our flying field and the battery flew out, it took 5 minutes to find the model, when a friends Wot4 went down in the same field, it took 3 DAYS and many many drone flights up and down the field to find his plane.
I just want to point out that my GPS did not work first time, and that's because i completely forgot that RX and TX pins are swapped when connecting from board to device. IE Board RX goes to device TX. Once i swapped those around i got the blue gps and messages being sent successfully.
Be sure to pay attention to the pinouts. The connector pinout is printed onto the top PCB, trust that instead of any images on Google. The four connector ports right below the top PCB are the LED strip ports, the ones below those are peripheral ports.
