    Hello Wardy, about 4 years ago, my friend was driving his 2002 TD5 up to Quorn S. Australia, when all hell broke loose at 100 kmh. The double cardon joint on the front propshaft let go, with it wipping around underneath. Took out the auto trans oil cooling pipes. I straight away had a look at mine, on my 2003 model and found the front UV ok, but the double cardon rather dry (no grease nipples). Odered a new set, front and rear and set about replacing them. The front set were ok and with grease in them, as I grease underneath a couple of times a year. The ones on the double cardon were dead dry (no grease nipples), so all replaced with new greaseable ones. Two jobs were hard, getting the flange bolts undone, had to use an impact wrench and the second hard job, was replacing the ball joint in the middle of the double cardon joint. Now all can be greased when required.

      Always best to check. Mine used to get trashed all the time as I used to go serious off roading once a month. I've not been for around 3 years so the tent to last a bit longer now. Thanks for watching

    I have to be pretty solid, don’t mate, get universal joint they should’ve been pretty easy to get out to use a grind on it anyway to knock it straight out with another socket. Same size diameter 😮😮😮😅😅😅
