    Very good. It's almost impossible to play this piece without even one missed note, especially for the uncomfortable fast movement of left hand continuously trying to catch bottom D and then going back immediately one and half octaves higher. One hasn't to be a musician, but a hunter with a good sight!!

    • @jumento6544
      @jumento6544 2 года назад +6

      Yeah but you're supposed to play this on harpischord which is quite small

    • @micaelat3734
      @micaelat3734 10 месяцев назад

      It doesn't matter. 2 octaves is still 2. And you need to cross hands to do it. So your proprioceptive sense must be spot on.

    I dont know why anyone is mad at igorrr, the french have been burning harpsichords for centuries now. I think where ravel and strauss (and other great composers) revive baroque music, beautifully, Igorrr zombifies it.. beautifully ....

  • @johnbazy
    @johnbazy 10 лет назад +55

    So apparently there's been a controversy about Igorrr here. I really think he's one of the most unique musicians on earth at this time. If you're just slamming him down for making his music electronically, remember that much of his work is originally written and performed before the full procedure, and we can't go on making harpsichord sonatas for all eternity.

    • @herbertwells8757
      @herbertwells8757 6 лет назад +3

      No, "johnbazy", YOU are missing the point. The point is that you've demonstrated that you're a musical ignoramus, which necessarily invalidates your pathetic opinions about music. "We" scarcely ever made "harpsichord sonatas" because sonata form didn't evolve until after the harpsichord was falling into disuse, replaced mainly by the hammerclavier, the fortepiano. In the intervening two centuries and a half plenty had already happened in both instrumentation and musical form that the tasteless twit you're espousing here had nothing whatsoever to do with. If you want to listen to electronic music, listen to REAL electronic music, Stockhausen, Ligeti, etc.; don't listen to a shit-monger like what's-his-fucking-ridiculous-name.

    • @graysaltine6035
      @graysaltine6035 5 лет назад +9

      That's a lot of words to say nothing. Because of people like yourself, Igorrr (is it that hard to type?) made his latest album by recording every single instrument played live by professionals at his home in France. Some of the most talented musicians in Europe came from across the continent to play instruments including the harpsichord (as well as accordion, sitar and others) individually and have them electronically arranged. There is a documentary about it on RUclips, and it includes Nils Cheville nailing a beautiful folk guitar piece in one take. You call someone a musical ignoramus without even realizing how bigoted and musically close-minded you sound.
