I was gonna say OH YEAH BAYBE WHO IS THIS then I noticed Scott Ross and I was like... yeah he's the best. RIP. You are so missed good lovely sir. You knew how to play these like nobody else. His Scarlatti is God. Period.
There's no wrong ways to discover music, I discovered rameau because of my music teacher, without him I would never have known rameau. The important thing is to listen and have fun :)
I discovered this from a ROBLOX game called: The Wild west It's an amazing game no joke and when you reach howling peak you will reach a bidding area where you can bid for items with other real people and it plays this theme
Very good. It's almost impossible to play this piece without even one missed note, especially for the uncomfortable fast movement of left hand continuously trying to catch bottom D and then going back immediately one and half octaves higher. One hasn't to be a musician, but a hunter with a good sight!!
I dont know why anyone is mad at igorrr, the french have been burning harpsichords for centuries now. I think where ravel and strauss (and other great composers) revive baroque music, beautifully, Igorrr zombifies it.. beautifully ....
So apparently there's been a controversy about Igorrr here. I really think he's one of the most unique musicians on earth at this time. If you're just slamming him down for making his music electronically, remember that much of his work is originally written and performed before the full procedure, and we can't go on making harpsichord sonatas for all eternity.
No, "johnbazy", YOU are missing the point. The point is that you've demonstrated that you're a musical ignoramus, which necessarily invalidates your pathetic opinions about music. "We" scarcely ever made "harpsichord sonatas" because sonata form didn't evolve until after the harpsichord was falling into disuse, replaced mainly by the hammerclavier, the fortepiano. In the intervening two centuries and a half plenty had already happened in both instrumentation and musical form that the tasteless twit you're espousing here had nothing whatsoever to do with. If you want to listen to electronic music, listen to REAL electronic music, Stockhausen, Ligeti, etc.; don't listen to a shit-monger like what's-his-fucking-ridiculous-name.
That's a lot of words to say nothing. Because of people like yourself, Igorrr (is it that hard to type?) made his latest album by recording every single instrument played live by professionals at his home in France. Some of the most talented musicians in Europe came from across the continent to play instruments including the harpsichord (as well as accordion, sitar and others) individually and have them electronically arranged. There is a documentary about it on RUclips, and it includes Nils Cheville nailing a beautiful folk guitar piece in one take. You call someone a musical ignoramus without even realizing how bigoted and musically close-minded you sound.
Nah. Easy peasy lemon squeezy in a couple of years maybe 3 or so if you practice 4 hours a day, no day off, you could probably manage it with a couple of errors.
hey igorrr fans! I'm looking for dark and macabre old harpischord music like that one, that haven't been remixed by Igorrr or someone else. (so I can make some tasty baroquecore with it) any advices?

very pleasant sonata

Naturally. Because these cyclops hammering on an anvil.

Listen to Unpleasant Sonata by Igorrr... ;-) (okay, it's breakcore, but also pretty metal)

Yeah but you're supposed to play this on harpischord which is quite small
It doesn't matter. 2 octaves is still 2. And you need to cross hands to do it. So your proprioceptive sense must be spot on.
Thanks a lot, I really like to be allowed to follow the score while listening. Great rendering too!
¡Exquisita musica para un poco elogiado instrumento! ¡Muchas gracias!
Exquisite music for a not well pondered instrument! Thank you very much!
Porque "poco elogiado" ? Lo fue por la mas alta sociedad del pais mas educado del mundo ... Y siempre lo es por los melomanas ...
French Baroque rules. And Scott Ross will be his eternal best interpreter forever. He knew how to interprete French Panache.
I must admit i had never heard of Scott Ross till now. Today is a good day, cause i can enjoy his playing now for the rest of my life. I love it.
Scott Ross has really good recordings of Scarlatti Sonatas as well
Absolutely wow!
Brilliant.
Bravo!!! Danke❤️
Scott Ross, still unsurpassable: amazing tone, articulation, pacing, expression!
I recognized the Ross playing style in Igorrr Unpleasant Sonata. I was correct and absolutely not disappointed.

Both are Barock, so it´s no surprise that there are similarities.

Igorrr - unpleasant sonata
The sweet sound of overpriced musical instruments
I find this interpretation too gently. Baroque music must be played more nervously, with intense contrasts, like the Vertigo of Pancrace Royer
Royer was just an empty virtuoso, and i would prefer not to have his music dictate how that of other composers should be played.
