Wonderful! I wanted to know more about the forgotten railway in Mauritius. This video gives many leads. It was a mistake to dismantle the tracks. Today it would have served as a viable means of transportation. Waiting to see Part 2.
Remembering my grandfather's "la boutique" at poste de Flaq. I use to watch the train stop right by the store. Opposite pour store there was a few very old trees. It was a meeting spot for local people to socialise. Those good old days were gone. Now I'm living in North America and I will revisit my childhood historical holyland! Someday.
Oh wow, I hope you can return one day. I did a video on Poste de Flacq where I ate in the old railway station. Maybe you can see the old trees and shop in it.
Riki is right.. Its for the rain water that accumulates and causes flood in the village. Anyway it's useless..😏😂 The villagers use it as dumping ground😤 You should try going next to the church..,there's trains and stuff there.😉
Good old days...missing them a very lot..😢
Sad they are gone
Mauritius was built by the French and the British. Old name for Mauritius was Ile de France 🇫🇷🇬🇧
Interesting programme very informative.
