OK ... video is 2 years old... my corsa is older tho so...
if I tighten this will it improve the grip of the handbrake? currently scared to park on a hill but if this is the solution I'm gonna kick my mechanics arse... he's quoted 140 bucks for it.

Dimitris mallis loose parking brake..sometimes when you pull it all thdveay up it still rolls your car backwards if you are ob a hill

Yes..sometimes on cars the handvrake becomes loose..had the same problem in my older golf, Corsa,Astra..it helps
