I find deals like this all the time at goodwill. This past summer I found a big bag of football cards in mint condition and found big rookies such as Steffon Diggs,Von Miller,Khalil Mack and many more only paid $8.
That is such a good edit from 0:45 into 0:48!
Always have to point out that Tim Foli bit Ron Oester in the leg during a clubhouse fight when they were both coaching the Reds in the 2000s.

It's from 1990-1991 Hoops #205. They're sitting courtside in the background of the card. It's the silver border cards.

Nice box! Definitely worth the $6 as long as you don't mind the commons. The 71 Seaver paid for the box. There are plenty of Hofers & Stars. Fun just to go thru them for the trip down memory lane. Thanks for sharing!
If nothing else these are always fun for me because I get to look at things from years when I was not collecting and just see all the different designs
Whenever I purchase someone's personal collection. There's one card or player that's always top loaded or 1 touch is Eric Davis! But 1 player that follows is Billy Ripken. I even got one from a Fairfield football box!
Well worth it. I did the same a few times as a kid,box of cards for $40 one time,all 71-72-73 74-75-76 topps,5 brett rookies,72 high numbers,spent days looking through that box. Check the early 70's for high numbers,commons are a few bucks each. Nice find! The mini golf pencil was worth it too,lol.

Bought a box at a yardsale sale of golf cards. For 5 bucks. Found tiger woods rookie in it. I sold for 150 and 2 others fir 20 a piece. Also i have 230 tiger tales still left.
Man some of those Starquest cards are pretty tough pulls like that SQ Red Derek Jeter... I think the reds were either 1 or 2 per box, the Green SQ's were like 1 in 6 packs and the Blue's were like the base cards.... So yea, that Jeter was a "hit" depending on the condition - even if it did have messed up corners it's still a $5 card all day..... Also, when it comes to vintage baseball pre-1973 you have to pay attention to the numbers because those high series cards can be quite valuable - a few have significant value because they're super short prints (SSP's) and can sell for $25+ each..... I mean there is a reason why Steve Garvey's 1972 Topps 2nd year card is 4x more valuable than his 1971 rookie..... So yea, you gotta keep an eye out for those high number SP's - because sure they may be "no name players" - but that doesn't mean they're not desirable to set collectors - I mean I have sold quite a few for $100+ so there is certainly money to be made there if you know what you're doing.
Great buy for $6...lot of bad condition cards but it was worth it alone for all the vintage 70's cards, let alone lotting up the Griffey and other cards. some of the top-loaded looked like good shape.

I love finding boxes like this with such variety. I too enjoy the adventure. However, with me be a Ken Griffey Jr. collector, I'm never this lucky in pulling so many Griffeys. Saw one you pulled I don't have too. Enjoyed the vid!

Nice. It's like what I would think half my cards would look like if I still had my og collection..I'd pay 6 for all the piazza cards. The jeters or griffeys were stand out for easy money back plus some. Good score dude!

I’ve been watching a few of your videos and we must have collected the same cards at the same time around 88 to 96ish and I feel your pain with the Phil plantier cards 🤣. I think it was 91 stadium club demanded the screw down hard plastic right? 🤣🤣. Subscribing just for that 🤘

The 1970 Mike Epstein was nice.... and the vintage Tom Seaver and Mickey Manyle I think you should go through the cards a little slower and turn them right side up.....to give the viewer a chance to see the cards..... Thnks for sharing......

That Ryan Hallmark card came with a Xmas tree ornament. I picked one up for my nephew at the flea market. Those starquests cards are blue base, green better, red best. I just got a few of the Rangers ones for my shoebox I’m filling for my nephew.

Found a palet in the back of my bosses warehouse. It was his uncles collection. Probably 100,000 cards and collectables. My boss knows nothing of cards. Its a 4x4 palet probably 3ft tall of boxes. 3000 and 5000 count boxes. Could be junk could be a holy grail. My boss said just put it up on the rack in the back of the warehouse and its been sitting there ever since. I cry everytime i look up at it.

Damn man! Very nice. I'm wondering if the previous owner was trying out making their own grab bags. There were so many stars it got me thinking who we didn't see and maybe they held on to those guys specifically. Of course they let their Husky go and it's always nice seeing him. HA! For real tho I didn't see any Strawberry's and if I did P.C. anyone it'd be him. Maybe they were Bonds and Ryan fans also. That was fun to watch. Happy New Year.

That's why I'm holding onto all my junk wax, after it's all gone because of people destroying it, eventually it will be worth something! I have thousands in ps 9 and 10. Tons of HOF Rookies that are worth hundreds already.
