I can understand Mr Shankar's pain and I fully endorse what he said. Fortunately, I worked with great souls like GKV, Vijaya Bhaskar, Rajan Nagendra , Upendra Kumar, MSV, Ilayaraja. There were no issues with payments. But I too had a terrible experience with one awful music director who is unbaked with bad culture. Hence, I completely detached from him. God bless you.

My brother (no more now 😢😢 passed away due to heart attack on 4th oct 2022) had worked in kannada film industry for about 24 years ...almost 60 percents of his work was unpaid ...But he paid to all his assistants and peers fully and some time extra also .. Every one around him cheated and made money big time ...he left world with no pendings of money to any and many of his friends and colleague had to return the money lended to them ....but none turnedup even to the funeral.
