Is the facelifted JC less powerful than the previous gen JC (before 2021)? I have heard people saying that JC is quite linear now and doesn't "feel" powerful even though the specs are same. In fact, I recently took test ride of JC auto and it felt really sluggish somehow. What's your take on this?
Hi Honestly I cannot speak for AT petrol as I’ve never driven it But then again, if you do the math, petrol’s torque is much lesser compared to diesel’s (350Nm) I personally own a Diesel MT and never felt a dearth of power 😅 In fact, sometimes the power scares me especially when you unleash the beast on the highway 🛣️ So IMO, diesel is anyway better 💪 So choose wisely, take test drives of all competitors in the market, and then make a decision 👌
Hi, i am looking to buy a New Compass but, confused on AT or Manual. Pls suggest on this. I have driven a Meridian AT and felt it wasnt having the quick shifts in City Traffic. So expecting the same would be with the exp. with COMPASS. And im looking for the BLACKSHARK trim. Pls share ur opinion on 9 Speed AT. My drive is 70% in Town and 30% Highway
I personally would never go for an AT coz I love the torque available with MT And yes, you’d experience the same with Compass AT as well as you did with the meridian Based on my experience, I’d suggest to go for the MT variant and Limited Trim if budget allows Hope you can join our esteemed family soon :)
@@The8thWanderer Also wanted to ask this thing for MT .... are you experiencing any trouble in low speeds to keep the vehicle going in second gear. do we have to really come down to first gear ?
You’ll get a pop up on the instrument cluster everytime you’re below 10kmph to shift to 1st gear However, we have so much torque at hand that you can manage with 2nd gear It is recommended however, to shift to 1st gear so that you don’t wear out the clutch too soon 🤷♂️
Hi sagar Preferably look for facelift models, i.e. post 2021 as my car is also of 2021 Probably around 12-13 lakh, I’m sure you’ll get good models of the facelift JC You’ll enjoy it more than you would pre facelift models IMO
@@The8thWanderer Thank You Brother!!! Face lifted variants are quite expensive, I don’t like more technology in the car, what is ur opinion about above car and what approx maintenance cost should I consider?
@@The8thWanderer i own the BS4 compass, did contact Code6 banglore, they mentioned that, after stage 1 , the power figures will be ,200hp and 440nm of torque, this is exceptional. If a stock jeep can beat a Fortuner, then a tuned one can do wonders
@Thunder98485 Hello I wouldn’t recommend you to go for the base variant as the most basic creature comforts are missing You would love driving the car but your family and friends wouldn’t like being passengers in your car :/ Harsh reality 🫣
Thanks for the informative videos, can this below be raised on the Jeep group and help me. Could you confirm the standard warranty coverage for Jeep vehicles? I'm considering a pre-owned deal that looks promising. It’s a Limited 2.0 4X4 model, showroom-maintained, with 59,000 km on the odometer. The current owner is upgrading to a Meridian, which is why it’s available. The asking price is 13 Lakhs INR, but I'm planning to negotiate within the 10-11.5 Lakhs range during my visit tomorrow to hopefully finalize it. The seller has assured me that the vehicle will be fully serviced and any required replacements will be handled. What key aspects would you suggest I review to ensure everything is in order? BTW I will be buying it in Bangalore, so we don't have the rule of 10 years here. we can get FC after 2033. History of Cars, Hyundai Verna, Hyundai Elantra, Skoda Superb. I am looking for this because I've feel that its unlike other SUV's, Its like a crossover vehicle. Big Sedan Lover.
Hello Regarding the points to be checked during your vehicle inspection, unfortunately I have no expertise in the field so I’d suggest to look for other reputable sources ✨ And you’re absolutely right… Jeep is unlike any other car in the market.. in a niche market of its own.. That’s why inspite of it’s dwindling numbers, Jeep is big among purists and passionate adventurers 🛣️⛰️ Jeep comes with standard warranty of 3 years extendable to 5 years of warranty Sorry I couldn’t be of more help, hope you buy the right car 🚗 Happy Jeeping 🫶
Do a tune..... I've heard wolf moto is the most aggressive and code6 is linear and improves mileage.... I strongly suggest you tune and experience the full potential before thinking of an upgrade..... And one more thing what's with everyone distress selling their compass after the 5 yr warranty period? I know about the reliability issues and the hefty service center repair costs.... But still is it not worth to keep the compass for its drivability?
Hi It’s ironic that I’m seeing your comment now just as I finished my 7 hour drive from Bangalore to Kochi 😅 This car is a BEAST on the road 😈 So yeah, I don’t get what the fuss is all about coz I would definitely keep it just for the driving dynamics 🫶 And regarding tuning, I’m already in talks with code6 to get an ECU REMAP Let’s see how it goes… 🤞
am all set to buy 2018 2.0 diesel limited. total run 87k km. I driver the car the engine seems smooth. pls need your advice
even for Engine oil, they're charging absurdly, around 7.5K+. Ill recommend Castrol Edge over the Mopar Oil. will cost around 4.5K only
Will definitely try it next!!
They’re just way too overpriced 🙃
