Slaughter is a VERY commonly used word, but it is MOST commonly used in reference to killing animals for meat. While occasionally used in reference to killing people (usually in a really horrific manner), places where hogs/cattle/sheep are killed are often called slaughter houses - because they are slaughtered there.

Manslaughter, sure. But how often do you hear murders being referred to as just straight slaughter? I think their point was manslaughter wasn't a term in the 1800's when the supposed spirit they were talking to was from.
He meant not normally, like nobody that isnt a pretentious asshat says slaughter instead of murder or killed, and since the 1800s was a *pretty big* overstatement
sheldoman Manslaughter is said commonly, slaughterhouse too, and also, psychotic breakdowns are not simply not being able to move, psychotic breakdowns are breakdowns with psychotic features such as hallucinations and delusions and paranoia, similar to a manic breakdown, where does this guy get his info from, the internet???
therapy so... You never said or heard something like " it wasn't just a simple murder, it was a slaughter." slaughter is a very common word that is used to describe the violence involved in killing/murdering. I was taught that word before going into highschool on an english class (I'm Portuguese btw). If the word wasn't used since 1800, nobody outside USA and england would learn about it at school or anywhere else.
Man, imagine finally being able to make friends with someone over the ghost phone, only for them to drop you when you tell them you're a demon. Caus didn't sound like that bad of a dude tbh. Didn't act anywhere nearly as badly as other stories. Entity profiling at its finest.
I feel bad for him tbh. He just wanted to hang out with the dude. Yeah, maybe his manners were a bit demonic, but hey, he was quite friendly and honest. And all he was trying to do is to remind that guy, that he still exists and was kinda invited to his dreams by the guy himself. I mean, if I accidentally got to know a supposedly friendly demon while messing with the board, I would at least be polite to him.
I've always felt bad for Caus there. Yeah, maybe don't give your new friend apartment burning down nightmares and try to scare the shit out of them when they rudely dump you for bigoted demon stigma, that's maybe not the BEST way of dealing with it. Maybe get him to sit down and talk it out instead... But he literally just gave him a dream where he gave him a bunch of money the first time, he was obviously fond of the dude and trying to be nice. And he's honest about himself, and that's what he gets for it? Stories of demons who are clearly attached to humans or trying to make friends and get banished or told to fuck off and assumed to be evil or causing issues bc they're demons always break my heart.

It garnered my sympathy (I was 16 and naive) so I invited it to stay with me by allowing it to inhabit this old mask I had. As I got older, I could feel it’s presence behind the eyes of the mask grow more and more sinister until one night, it showed up in my dream. I hid the mask away so I couldn’t see it, but I eventually ended up getting rid of it because I couldn’t get the demon to leave. I actually might send Corpse some of my stories, I don’t know..

first one reads like something Onision would write. "arizona's finest soldiers" "more intelligent than most" /can't come up with a verb like "slaughter" on the spot/
I grew up in Benson AZ, approximately 30 minutes north of Ft Huachuca. "More intelligent than most" is one of the least intelligent ways someone could intelligently convince me of their intelligence.
I'm really interested in demonology (i'm a bit of a Paranormal fiend), but Caus was the only one to give a name. It's not a far fetched idea for demons to give a name that is not their own, even to disguise themselves as loved ones, but it's interesting to me that the demon would choose the name Caus. Here are my theories: -Caus is a pun for the word Cause. Demons often like to fuck with people using Oujia boards, especially skeptics. -Caus is Abacus, Abacus is also believed to be a version of Abaddon. Common Oujia board demons that take advantage of people not knowing all of the precautions to take with the board. -Caus could be a spirit posing as a demon, this is also not uncommon. In fact, the majority of spirits are annoyed by the use of Oujia boards, summoning is an awful idea with all of the undead. DO NOT FORCE SPIRITS TO COME FORWARD EVER! A spirit could pick a random name and claim to be a demon, then let the subconscious mind do the rest of the work. Overall, it does not surprise me that the Psychic didn't want to help the possessed. Demonology is something that a lot of Psychics don't mess with because it is a tricky process with a lot of rules. I personally don't touch it at all, I think that all people communicating with the afterlife need to be informed, but I would never communicate directly with a demon. They are quick to latch onto people, finding hosts is their main purpose in life more often than not. Most demons don't consider themselves evil so it doesn't surprise me that "Caus" said that they weren't, but they are truly sinister beings that are often avoided by all those who can. Don't fuck with the demons and definitely don't invite them to further communicate with you.
If youre so interested in these things you should know that Abaddon and his, lets say similars, arent demons. And now Im giving you some valuable info. Abaddon and his similars are devils, but they reside far, far away from Hell. In a place they conquered.
Yes. Almost at the end of his story, and I’m mildly irritated. It was like every few sentences he stopped and inserted something he thought made him sound clever or hilarious. It…mostly did not. We are so smart that we know the word "slaughter". You might not know the word because of your below average intelligence. It's an English word that hasn't been used since the 1800's. It was used as a synonym for killing and murder. Most commonly used for the butchering of animals. The place where the butchering happened was called a slaughterhouse. You wouldn't know because it isn't common knowledge. So hopefully this lesson will bring you closer to my high intelligence levels.

therapy so... You never said or heard something like " it wasn't just a simple murder, it was a slaughter." slaughter is a very common word that is used to describe the violence involved in killing/murdering. I was taught that word before going into highschool on an english class (I'm Portuguese btw). If the word wasn't used since 1800, nobody outside USA and england would learn about it at school or anywhere else.
humberto Santos what kinda people do you hang out with that discuss murders?

I'm really interested in demonology (i'm a bit of a Paranormal fiend), but Caus was the only one to give a name. It's not a far fetched idea for demons to give a name that is not their own, even to disguise themselves as loved ones, but it's interesting to me that the demon would choose the name Caus.
Here are my theories:
-Caus is a pun for the word Cause.
I'm intrigued. Can you tell us a bit more? Like, why do most demons don't consider themselves evil? Are they neutral creatures?
@@dodonggumiho183 it fully depends on the demon itself as some are good, some are bad
