We own an older version of this game and have enjoyed it the last two years during the holiday season. It's simple enough that even my eight year, seven when he first started playing it, can understand it.
Great review! Question on the ties. Say on the 9th round, all the gift cards cancel out, and the 9th holiday card is put aside. If someone wins on the 10th round, do they win... ~ just the 9th holiday card (ergo making the 11th round playing for just the 10th gift), or ~ just the 10th holiday card (skipping the 9th gift), or ~ BOTH the 9th and 10th holiday card? Or is the 9th round "replayed" for the 9th holiday card? Thanks!
What is the gameplay purpose of Mr and Mrs Claus. You win but give away the points. As it's not a trick taking game, you don't gain the advantage of leading the next trick so I don't see why someone would want to use the cards to begin with. Thanks
1) give to somebody during the passing phase since you might benefit from the gift. 2) play it early where you are only giving away one or two points but allowing you to keep a card that could win you majority at the end of the game

Glad you've enjoyed this one!
Just received this game at the office gift exchange. Thanks To Rodney for making learning the game sooo easy. Ho ho ho 🎅 🎄
Hope you have a fun time playing and Merry Christmas!
I'd buy this game just for the beautiful cards

+Aba Oblongata Both Present 9 and 10. It is Christmas :D
Thanks to Pixel.
about those two zeros, I didn’t exactly get that, so if you win a day with santa, you should give that day card to another player?
Yep!
How many times have you played this game? The cards are already starting to look worn.
+Carlordau Yes, the publisher gave me a copy they had used at a convention, where it got a lot of use :)
thank you
You're welcome!

+venrondua One benefit is to use it to ensure the game leader does not win the Day, and then gift it to the person who is not winning.

this game looks like a lot of fun!
+MegaXZeroForever Thanks for checking out the video!
I like that players have to play their cards at the same time :)
Me too :)
