I love this game. It has become a staple of my Xmas gaming now. As for the artwork I wouldn't call it garish. I think it is attempting to replicate the feel of a stained glass window depiction of the Christmas Carol and in that regard I think it does a superb job.
I've had this game for around a year or so. The game itself is good for a small game. The card quality isn't the best though. Anywho I was happy with the purchase.
+jumpyg1258 Please note that the Calliope version of this game was released this past Christmas, and features a significantly better card and box quality than the older version (by the Gamesmith).
Wow, I've played this game a lot and I completely missed the rule about the Clauses. Anyway, great little game with some genuinely tough decisions about what to play and what to keep, and trying to outguess people. Production quality is pretty poor, though.
+Boardgame Knight Because being outside is awesome! There's sunshine, there are trees, grass, flowers, birds ... Being outside has the Dice Tower seal of Excellence! :)
we've been playing for years off a print and play from cheap ass games we only play 12 days before and after christmas the rest of the year it's put away also we've never played with the santa miss santa rules but we will this year

2016? We've been playing this one for a few years now. We enjoy it too!
This is a fun game. Unfortunately the theme makes it a challenge to bring out all the time.
We like it at our house. Definitely good for the holidays.
I like the thumbmail 12 Days with Tom Vasel :))))
+CommanderGaming01 Hopefully 12 days of Cosmic Encounter and Decent Road to Legend instead of board game industry propaganda :p
when I saw 12 days with Tom Vasel, I thought it was a contest lol
So do you have like a hand of 24 cards or what? How do you have cards at the end? I think you missed that.
You always have 12 cards in your hand. You gift one, play one, them drAw back up to 12.
+TheOldMan2084 Ah, okay. I must have missed the "draw one" part.
me too!
Why is he outside?

I would've sworn Tom reviewed this a couple years ago.
I don't get it, Tom... why are you outside?

Sad about the "fishbowl" sound
