Very importantly do not use the fatigue draining abilities on more than a couple units in land battle especially when it comes to elite heavy infantry which tend to have them most commonly. This is because over a long fight with a similar unit the one which uses the ability and gets tired looses the fight however you can use it on a few as long as you can micro second wind on them since it recharges faster.
Rome 2 still hits so much. Trying to besiege rome with Boudica as Iceni with a bunch of noble swords, so thematic, fun, and challenging. I hope CA gets their head out of their backside with their shakeups and get back to good games.
Is there any mod which improves the combat speed? What I mean: Battles between 2 Units take forever, because they just dance around each other and only attack every 3 or 4 Seconds. Is there a mod which instantly forces the 2 Individuals in 2 fighting units to decide their battle, so is goes faster?
Afaik there is just the basic battle speed that you can adjust to pause, slow-motion, normal, fast and faster settings. I don't believe there is a way to speed up just 2 specific men in a regiment. If that is what you are asking.
Wait a minute- but if having a heavier or medium unit turn to run gets a lot of them killed, then how do you cycle charge units to swap them out with each other to keep battle fatigue low?
I remeber my first victory in multiplayer, we won because the enemy player chose to use Spear Warriors as Averni instead of Chosen Swords, i don't get why he did that
Why just sometimes happens, that a unit, that is ordered to go on the wall just doesnt do it? Almost which settings enables you to see the amount of units at the bottom? It would be very helpful
New player sir, can you explain how you group and move you whole army and keep them in the formation that you put them in. When I set them up before the battle, then move them when the battle starts they don’t stay the way I set them up.
click on the unit not the unit card on the menu. Click + hold+ drag to wherever you want. It will stay in formation. If you want to pivot the way they are facing and not mess with its formation, hold ctrl when placing a unit after you've done the above and move your mouse. Or Middle mouse button. I forget which one it was. This will rotate the blueprint of that movement order. If you want to just change the formation a bit, with the unit selected, you just click and drag across the screen. You can reshape your unit to 2 rows or to a column or any box shape.

If you haven't figured it out just use Google man or look thru the menus carefully lol
