Yes I will get them once they are available in Germany via your affiliate link 😍
How does the display compare to the Quest 3 and Vision Pro in terms of clarity, color fidelity, FOV, etc.?
They don't compare in many ways, vr headsets will always win in terms of fov and picture quality because it's a screen and not a projection but the use-cases are very different. Most people don't want to strap a giant toaster to their face when they want to watch a movie or reels in bed.there is also no reason to do regular "pancake" gaming on a VR headset. the glasses make much more sense for that. if you want to play 3d vr games where you can interact with things ofc you go for the quest 3. Don't underestimate the discomfort that comes with strapping 300-500grams of bulky hardware to your head (depending on your vr headsets strap, additional battery and so on).
@@kalle-malle I hear you. The difference in terms of weight and comfort is quite obvious, of course. But I'm specifically curious about the display quality of AR glasses in the context of productivity, watching videos, reading text, browsing websites, etc. In short, visual clarity is important for me. The Quest 2's fresnel lenses didn't cut it for me. The Quest 3's pancake lenses are better, but not great. The Vision Pro's clarity and contrast is beautiful, but the price is hard to justify for normal users.
I have never tried AR glasses yet. But I'm willing to sacrifice FOV (to a certain extent) if I get great visual clarity and comfort. Being able to work or watch a movie on a huge virtual screen during a flight or anywhere discreetly is quite an enticing proposition. Speaking of FOV, if I need to pan my head to view the full 135" virtual screen, then that would be a negative for me. Since most AR glasses, like the Viture, are only capable of 3DOF, then not being able to move the virtual screen closer/farther might be a hindrance in some situations too.
With all that said, the future of AR/MR/VR/XR devices is pretty bright and exciting. Competing companies and startups will drive its progress and innovation to new highs and prices down to palatable levels. Pretty soon we'll have glasses with 6DOF, bigger FOV, hand tracking, etc. like the upcoming models from Immersed, Xreal, Rokid, Rayneo, etc.
How is it for 3d erotic content? Can it play 180 degree movies and does it have head tracking? I wouldn’t mind having these glasses for movies and entertainment but I’ve been single for almost 10 years and love my skin flicks. Would need a headset that could do both, if it can’t would the crystal or quest 3 be better for that MRTV??
Wow. The myopia adjustment is a gamechanger for us glasses users.
Not if you have an astigmatism > 0.5-1dp that many people with higher myopia have ! In my opinion it makes the glasses unnecessarily thicker.......
exactly your opinion ,it is a definatly a game changer for me @@Anakin-dl6eb
I see that some of these headsets have myopia adjustment, which is fantastic (I'm all for accessibility), but what do us folks with hyperopia / farsightedness do? These seem to go from something like -5-0, but my prescription is +2
You can get custom lens inserts that you attach via magnet.
Just got mine. Absolutely amazing!
How good is the text clarity at the edges for productivity?
It is really good. The whole picture is very very sharp.
Can we read for a long time or this is only for movies
You can read for long time as well, but I prefer this for movies.
once we get really good reading-focused glasses like this I'll be fixing my posture by laying on my back and reading novels.
@@Healthy_TokiI suggest you check solreader. I read they are best used lying down.
Can someone answer are you able to adjust the distance of your "virtual screen" within the glasses?
No you can't.
@@mixedrealityTV ok thanks
If viture say its 135“ in 3m but you only have arround 100“ in 2,70m, thats a big difference…
Have you been experiencing any glare while using them? I own the Rokid Max and the only real complaint I have is that there are glare spots when the screen has bright portions.
Thanks for the video. You are the only one I've found who mentioned that the Viture Pro Mobile Dock will work with my XReal Air 2. The previous one didn't. Many thanks
Can I use this just like a regular glasses outside considering there's a built-in myopia adjustment?
Can I watch 3D movies from a 3D BluRay?
I wish to know this as well, can you watch 3D Blu-ray and 4K Blu-ray through HDMI from a Blu-ray player? I am scared that the HDCP 1.4 is not up to speck! Have you tested this yet. Thanks.
Is this a sponsored video?
Yeah
@@erosionreactions offfff
No, I do not do sponsored reviews.
An excellent and thorough review, as always - thanks for sharing your thoughts on VITURE Pro Sebastian, we're so glad you're loving our newest innovations and improvements! 😎
I asked on the discord but is there any noticeable screen door of the image, or vignette of edges, i know some other headsets like this had issue with that but never tried one myself
No screendoor whatsoever!
Is it sharper and more vibrant than xreal air?
They are OLED displays, great selling point
I wish these had limited steam VR capabilities. Looks really nice though.
What about DRM protected content in these types of HMDs? Any limitations in resolution or output in general?
Outstanding… Is time to push the boundaries of what is possible 😎.
But the Visor VR l. Better resolution and bigger FOV
Nobody had seen the Visor yet.
I really wish these had more than 1080p resolution, that is the only downside that I can see with them.
What is the input latency for gaming? Might be good to know for some faster paced games.
Also, does this do HDR?
Nice but way too expensive... you can buy a PSVR2 or a Quest 3 for the same amount of money.
Should be priced in the 300 dollar range.
Um what do you consider normal IPD range?
60 to 68mm
I am very happy with my Xreal Air 2 Pro glasses. But, I do like the built in diopters. I have to have my prescription lenses on in order to enjoy my glasses. But, I am okay with that. These glasses for some reason look like they’re small on you. Looks like you’re wearing kid glasses. 0:48
With VR, for me it was easy to decide which one to buy, but those glasses...not easy. So far these seem to be the best untill....next month another, better model comes to the market. I'll buy in November what is available then. For my birthday.
I wish they didn't look so goofy. They aren't stylish whatsoever. The lenses look way too close together
I don't any big feature that I should replace my Rockid Max glasses, the only thing is 120Hz (I am not sure about it)
Resolution?
I have glasses that resemble them. Just that they're just for the sun. I like the opal look on them.
Damn, i think i want a pair. I just bought a headset though. But for my phone and steam deck, it can definitely work.
Can you review the GOOVIS G3 MAX and compare it?
Can we upload a movie on to mobile dock ?
Do they have a recommended IPD range that they work best with?
can you watch 180 degree videos?
Does it have a fixed screen or does the screen move with your head movment?
That's pretty awesome that they have individual eye adjustments.
That's a bless to people with back pain that need to look at a monitor for too much time, you can work at any position possible without overcharging your back
Yes!
One of the better AR reviews I’ve seen so far. Well done.
I went direct to the VITURE website to order and then remembered your affiliate link, so used that instead. Hope it helps and keep up the great work on your channel. Kind regards, Mark (London)
Thank you so much! Helps for sure.
did you play half life alyx on it? is there movie 3d like the VR headsets?
I hope to see your comparison with the ROkid AR Lite
So, I can watch it with parakeets.
How do you rate this vs latest xreals?
Those look sized for children.
Tehnically, you don't buy these only for travel. Maybe you want to watch some 3D, 4K
or iMax movies at home. Why to lose 75% of the movie details by viewing it with 1k instead of 4k resolution? So this makes them useless at home, but only for travelling it doesn't justify the price if you only travel a few times per year. One more thing: the TV's support motion interpolation up to 120hz with a very complicated algorithm. Possibly you can only see 24 frames per second on these glasses, and they don't have motion interpolation, which on OLED is annoying because of the low response time.
The 1080p looks super sharp cuz if micro Oled. It's a nice and big picture. This product category does have some good demand, so I am glad they are this good already. Room for improvement? Of course!
Thanks! Great videos! A lot of work.
I use these glasses at home as a second screen. The picture clarity at the top and bottom edges are a bit blurred. After an hour, my nose bridge and ears start to hurt. Would the GOOVIS G3 MAX be a more comfortable, no-compromise alternative?
Do you use these specific glasses or the non-pro version?
@@motionsensors3448 These specific
Best glasses for steam deck to enjoy HADES 2 😍😍😍
YES
Lebaleberga no ce nocecubre ja. Esta
Not HDR, but the washed out colors.. is it the camera that made the shots ? Because 4000 nits could outperform most HDR, thats why the color palet looks a bit strange? Is there a way to adjust colors ?
this is filmed through the lenses, it looks much better in reality.
@@mixedrealityTV are there options to alter the image ? Would almost try to visit your HQ but its a 3.5 hours drive i thought.
Great review
Best review for the Viture Pro so far 👏
Thanks!
This or xreal ultra + beam pro?
This because mobile dock accessory.
why do they keep making ugly round glasses? we are looking at a rectangle screen. why are the lenses round??? IT CUTS OFF CORNERS!!!!
Can I connect this with the PC or how does it works on windows?
You can. Just plug it in if your USB C supports Video out! They have a special app called Spacewalker which allows you to setup how many screens to see etc.
Does this Windows PC option allow wireless streaming if I would like to step away from my PC? @@mixedrealityTV
Viture xr pro or xreal air 2 ultra, which to buy 🤔???
Viture because of better accessories.
Hey thanks for the reply much appreciated 👍
Can I order to the UK 🇬🇧
@@markrobinson5190 yes!
Do these support HDR gaming? I've been asking around everywhere, can't seem to get straight answer.
HDR usually requires 350 nits or better. Since this is perceivable at 1000 nits, i'd say yes! A few other RUclipsr's dropped a statement of "HDR", but take it with a grain of salt! I'd say yes cuz you'd be able to get inky blacks, and that's all It really is! Everything advertised right now as HDR, technically isn't really HDR! It's really all about your perception!
@@Longjumping-War2484 HDR is a lot more than brightness and contrast. It's color and tone mapping. SDR screens have 8 bit color depth and good HDR screens are 10 bit (some 8 bit displays implement dithering to achieve 10 bit color)
Inky blacks on sdr oled isn't why oled hdr is so outstanding, it's outstanding because oled can hit perfect black but also have that massive 10 bit color range to fully tone map all the picture detail and gradations within dark shadowed areas. In sdr a whole lot of that detail is simply lost.
I see these big difference, it doesn't matter how bright and perfectly black an oled can get if it's only displaying 8 bit sdr.
I'm guessing these are indeed 8 bit only, until a company releases a pair of hdr AR glasses I'll probably hold off on buying a second pair. I currently have xreal glasses.
@Orain88 ok, so you know your HDR. Didn't know what level of expertise you had. This isn't reddit, so most people here don't know Well, we'll color gamut aside, and color mapping, I can tell you it's 8 bit! That's the only factual info I can tell you, and not hearsay. So that means it's not HDR, cuz HDR is 8bit+2=10bit. If we'll notice it due to the transparency, it'll be use case perception! Also, pixel quality is also what HDR is known for. We'll actually never know til we try it! Will we miss true HDR on a virtual display? Perception is key!
@@Longjumping-War2484 psvr2 is the first time I've witnessed the glory of hdr oled in an hmd. It's just a shame they chose fresnel lenses. I am tempted by the adjustable ipd but so far I'm doing alright with the xreal air 2.
The day one of these companies makes a true 10 bit hdr pair of AR glasses, I will buy my second pair. This is still a bit too close to what I already own to be worth the price I think.
@Orain88! Hey, I got incredible news for you and I! About the discussion with had about if it had HDR. Well, I am so jumping for joy right now! I just got my Viture Pro AR glasses today, as well as the neckband and the free 8bitDo controller. From the settings menu, and I am looking at the menu through the glasses right now and this is showing in the selections options: Color space settings=YCbCr422 12 bit, HDR policy= Always Hdr. Literally that's what its stating as i'm seeing it! Not hearsay, but what I see! And not even 10bit, but 12bit, so HDR10 content, right! YCbCr422 Color space, not RGB! Are you happy with this answer now? I am the horse, and this is my mouth talking, LOL! You gonna buy it now? Cuz I am a happy camper, and this display is gorgeous! Fyi, I'm also nearsighted, and this has true Myopia adjustments! For once, I can finally see clearly now! It's like adjusting the sights in a pair of binoculars! Truth!
How about screen door effect? It's hard to believe it's not present with fullHD resolution only.
“ THESE ARE THE WORST GLASSES EVER … ROMID AR LITERALLY KILLS EVERYTHING … DIOPTERS ARE WAY BETTER &300” SCREEN 😂😂😂😂😂GOOD TRY… HAD TO SEND MINES BACK AND GET THE ROKID AR LITE😂😂😂😂😂 JUST NOTICE HOW HE NEVER SHOWED ANY LIVE GAMMING OR VIDEOS OR MOVIES😂😂😂😂
@@BARZUKABRAND thanks for watching and commenting! You seem to have a problem with your keyboard! :)
Their website has no specs, so it's a big NO. No display size, no FOV, no PPD, no display resolution. WTF????
They have heaps of specs. Hard to find though so understand. Go to store then academy link
Not sure where you're looking as all of those specs are on the website(display size, fov, ppd, resolution are all mentioned?), look for tech specs in the store page, or look at the academy page also linked from the store page.
You need glasses
Real glasses🙄💀
Only 460 $ ....you can buy Quest 3 for 499 $. theese glasses must go down to 200 no more or nobody will buy
Oh there are quite a lot people that buy these.
A VR headset is a total different product for total different use...
I have XR glasses for traveling and watching shows at work at lunch. Much easier for entertainment consumption to carry around than a quest 3, which I have too. If you move around a lot and don’t want to mess your neck up then this is awesome device
Can you lock the screen in place ?
I have a Quest3, Pico4 and probably buy one of these glasses for my next birthday in November. It's a different concept. Worth it's price.
They dont have HDR appearently so yeah no...
