    Can you engrave on wood boxes? Height would change. Is laser aimed at bed or can it be adjusted?

    • @Drxxx
      @Drxxx  2 года назад +4

      You can adjust the height and then is laser 5cm above the bed.. i try with wood and it works amazing.. you just need to ajdust the intensity ( % ) of laser..

    Hi everyone,
    I have an Anycubic mega S,
    I'd like to buy, install and use the laser engraving. Is it that possible? Is it enough to change the firmware and is it available to download?
    Second question in case i can set up my 3d printer to laser engrave.
    I've installed a different firmware from the original which allowed me to do a manual auto- levelling. Is there any way I can save the set up before to replace the firmware in order to be able in the future to reinstall the actual firmer with the actual commands?
    Thanks.

    • @Drxxx
      @Drxxx  2 года назад +2

      With mosfet i think yes.. only connection between printer and laser are + and - wire.

    • @Drxxx

      It should... you disconnect connector of extruder and connect from laser..

    • @Drxxx

      Is he connected properly??

    • @dreck66666
      @dreck66666 2 года назад +1

      yes, maybe it is a temperature sensor and the fan turns on after a while? Does the fan go on with you?

    • @dreck66666
      @dreck66666 2 года назад +1

      The laser is also only connected with 2 cables, and I'm pretty sure that there is a frequency going through to turn the laser on and off, but the fan shouldn't always go on and off, shouldn't it? But it is still a very good printer, it has a good quality and works very well

      @@dreck66666 i think that he recieve PWM signal same as the laser, but can be that he have a capacitor.. did you recieve voltage on the fan?

    • @dreck66666
      @dreck66666 2 года назад

      @@Drxxx it works now, it was just a little to low power, to run the fan 👍 probably a capacitor that drives the fan
